Okay, school was starting soon and Kyle needed to get on the ball and get all his stuff - paper pads, folders, pens, pencils, rubber etc. That, and he kind of wanted to maybe get a some new clothes for school, something that will make him look good. Though now, thinking about school brought his mind back to Henry and the...thing that happened the other day.
Kyle sighed and shook his head, not wanting to dwell on it yet again. He would deal with it the next time he was the werewolf though...he wasn't sure actually when that would be. Anyway, stationary first. the easy stuff. He went to that shop first and grabbed some pens, pencils, a sharpener, a rubber, he had a ruler at home, one of the bend ones, so he didn't need that, some paper pads, a folder and some dividers. There, all done here.
Next, a new school bag, since his old one was ready for the bin, so he left the stationary shop, turning to go the bag shop which was on the other side of the mall. [/blockquote]

Some could say that by having a bookstore within the mall, it might be a little pointless. Seeing as one could visit the library, then again; having a food court within the mall follows the same logic. Fast food places, if she were to argue with someone. Bah. Haylee wasn't entirely a big reader, yet it was fun to escape into a book every now and then. Boy, this mall was huge! Haylee hadn't realized it until now, funny that she didn't notice that when: She had first visited it. With a simple shake of her forehead, she smiled a bit when trying to head on her way toward the book store.
Although, a interesting flyer had caught her attention; a vampire novel. By one Charlaine Harris, it made her think. Having never heard of the author and on the subject of vampires, it would be a little awkward to write fiction about them; with "THEM" being real now. While in thought, she hadn't paid attention much and accidentally bumped into someone.

Kyle had been rechecking his purchases, and so, had not noticed that he was walking directly at someone else. He had a habit of forgetting one thing or another and not noticeing until hours later, when it was just an annoyance to have to repeat his steps again. So now he was checking now, saving him the hastle.
He oofed at the sudden impact, but wasn't walking fast enough that the recoil knock him to the ground, thankfully. "Oh, crap. M'sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going" He said as he righted himself, actually looking at the bumpee. He recognised her, from Merlotte's. Haylee something or other.

"Ow." Well, the impact didn't hurt THAT bad. Yet it was still a surprise, as Haylee blinked and then sighed to her moment of clumsiness. So far, no yelling had transpired. Like a typical, "watch it! Or any cursing; really. Haylee quirked a eyebrow upon recognizing her "bumper," as she labeled the action of running into someone. Kyle appeared to be apologetic about the situation; which felt odd. She could swear that SHE was the one to have initially begun the intrusion. With a chuckle to the situation, Haylee would comment on the happening. "It's ok, Kyle. Really! Though, um- I could swear it was me, whom bumped first." By her tone, it wasn't a big deal; accidents happen.

Kyle smiled at Haylee when she took the blame as well. Usually one person was pleading innocence while the other was yapping at them. "I dunno. I was walking but not looking so...yeah...well, no harm no foul right?" Kyle shrugged. No big deal, it's just a simple bump. At least he hadn't knocked Haylee off her feet, then he would be feeling really stupid.

"Right." Haylee immediately agreed; though her tone was different. Chipper, instead of the "no biggie," feel it previously had. As there was no foul by their actions and no one was harmed. At least NOT by her opinion. Thankfully, she might add within that and smiled. Frankly, a little curiosity had set in as to why he visited the mall himself. Sure, it might be nosy to ask, then again it was also: A way of small talk. Seeing as she didn't really know him, but had chance encounters. "What brings you here?" Not only was the mall of a large size, it was also a little noisy form her sound of things too! Almost like being in a noisy cafeteria, besides that: It was kind of neat to hear and see a bunch of people in one place. Proving that you never know whom you'd meet. Well, her-er their bump; proved that. " I was headed toward the bookstore."

Kyle nodded to the girl, thankful that the matter of the collision was over. "Oh, I'm just getting some stuff for school. It's starting up again soon so...might as well get all this out of the way while it's still in my head" He said, lifting up his bag as evidence. "I was thinking of going to the bookstore too, browse around if nothing else. I'm a fan of reading" He said, smiling.

Wow, time REALLY did "fly." Cliche! I know. Haylee thought in a mention toward Kyle and his preparations for school. It also reminded her of the past; in a sense of being young. Well, she was still 'young' but maybe she meant: When things were less complicated. I.E. Being her mother was still alive, it didn't ever feel like any wrong could happen. Then one day, she was grown; out of high school and everything started to tumble like domino's. Floating away from that moment, her curiosity peaked up as she looked toward Kyle's evidence. "What grade are yah in?" Seemed like a harmless question, wasn't it? More so, Haylee now focused upon the reading comment and smiled. "I'm a semi-fan of reading sometimes." It was kind of neat, that he too was thinking about visiting the bookstore.
Again, another question arose. "Have any favorite subjects, that you like to read?" Hmm, maybe she should've have asked that question? They hardly knew one another still. Even so, she wondered if Kyle had gotten a sense of what he wanted to do after school. She had to admit, for herself; she never thought about it at the time. Then again: Things happened. Eventually, here she was; in good ole Bon Temps. Things happen for a reason, if so; what is her reason for being here? Much less, all of the other things that have happened? A question that could use a answer to. Hopefully, she get the answer soon, though it was no use to think about it now. It was a semi-peaceful day, it didn't need to be complicated.

"Oh, I'm about to start my last year. I'm actually looking forward to it" He said, leaving out the part about his hot boyfriend teacher - Henry. The werewolf hot hot hottie. It would be hard keeping control and not doing anything boyfriendly while they were in school, but he would persevere. He did NOT want Henry to suffer because of him.
Have any favorite subjects, that you like to read?
"Well, I really like science - mainly biology. And Maths. I like other stuff too, but not the whole thing, just topics from them - like astrophysics. I hate physics 'cus it's too d**n hard, but astrophysics sounds interesting. BUt in regards to reading I really only read supernatural or romance, or supernatural/romance. That's my main genre. What about you?"

Technically, she wasn't all to "old" by today's standard. Though, with the subject of school: It did make her feel aged. Seeing as it felt like only "yesterday," that she was in school and everything felt less complicated. Via: Her mother being alive still, plenty of time to think on what she'd be. [in between jobs, as to not mess with school, graduation seemed ages away]. Only, now, there didn't feel like she had time to just think. Mainly about what made her special, on what her true calling might be during the lengthy time that had passed. Haylee then shook that feeling from her and blinked when trying to reflect on what she liked. "Simple stories, really. Poems as well! Uhm, I'll give anything a try once." Speaking of which, she turned toward a sign, more like ad trying to bring attention to a vampire novel. "Kinda like that, maybe." Now, as for school wise, ah-ha! She liked English and History, awkwardly sort of putting that our there. "I'm not sure what astrophysics is but I liked English and History."
