It was quite a shock when the vampires came out of the coffin, but to be honest, it was a shock for the vampires as well. Stan had been so accustomed to leading his life as a night-owl human and now he had to work with all sorts of liabilities, legal crap and some moral debates. People took quite different approaches to the vampires, there were those who were scared, those who were angry and those who were oddly enough, turned on. Everywhere has those people that get a rise by walking on the wild side. What could be more wild than hanging around the dead?
"I'm you're first vampire encounter?" he asked, amused at this. First impressions always seemed to leave an interesting mark. Little did Haylee know, but she had probably met plenty of vampires, especially in Dallas, she just never knew they were vampires. After they came out of the coffin, vampires actually flocked towards each other for protection. It was much more rare to see a vampire these days than it would have been a couple years back. "So how am I doing as your first vamp?" Taking her to a vamp bar was sure going to be an interesting experience.
Anyone who was a real Fellowship of the Sun person trying to get to him would not admit that they looked into it, in fact, they would try so hard to cover the fact that they do belong to the fellowship that they would actually deny even hearing of it sometimes. Silly mortals. "Well good, they won't getcha far at all," he shrugged. Stan's hatred for the Fellowship was about as strong as the Fellowship's hatred for his kind, but the vampire laws kept him from just wiping out their population.
Sure, Stan treated her friends quite fairly. Of course, fair was not always fun, but he had made the proper punishments and now they needed to return the favor, without Haylee's knowledge, of course. This southern belle seemed a bit too scared of vampires to learn immediately what codes they lived by. However, if he took her to Fangtasia, Pam would have a lovely time changing that quite quickly. "Just call me Stan," he nodded. The name Mr. Davis had rarely ever been used. Typically, vampires did not get the treat of being called mister, usually he was addressed as Vampire Stan by humans. Some Fellowship of the Sun people even decorated his name to Stake the Stan.
