"Never watched cable before?! Where have you been?" He asked, rhetorically, the words jsut flying out of his mouth. Never watched tv, was this guy human...well...you get the drift. "Okay." He said, going over to the couch and sitting down, "Okay, crash course in TV 101" He said, waiting for the older man to sit down before continuing. He still couldn't believe it! Never saw cable before...

Not knowing that Kyle's first question was a rhetorical one, Henry actually answered it. "Well, honestly, I've been in the woods pretty much my whole life," he laughed a little awkwardly and went over to sit down next to Kyle. Reaching for the remote, he handed it to the younger man and stared at the temporary black screen as excitement began to grow inside of him. He wasn't sure what to expect, but Kyle seemed really excited so this cable t.v. thing much have been something magical. "So what is there to watch?" he asked while waiting patiently for the crash course to begin.

Well, honestly, I've been in the woods pretty much my whole life
Oh god, now Kyle felt like the biggest ass in the world! He really hadn't been expecting that answer, but now that he'd heard it he felt guilty for jsut assuming and... He looked over at Henry when the sofa dipped beside him under the man's weight. "I'm sorry...I didn't mean..." He said, trying to apoligise, but not knowing exactly what for. He just knew he felt bad for being so...teenage.
He gingerly took the remote, trying to get himself back into a better mood. Hm, he was not the teacher, and Henry the student...no, bad! Don't go there! "Well, there's usually sports stuff if your into that. There's soups, kind of like where you watch the lives of people. They tend to be boring and their plots take ages to play out. Or there's supernatural and drama shows. If you're not a big fan of vampires there's always Buffy the Vampire Slayer" He said, giving a small laugh at the joke. He looked over at the other man, noticing just how close he was. The proximity was nice, better than nice actually. "So, any of that sound good?"

Henry stared at Kyle curiously, wondering what he was exactly apologizing for. Was it about the 'living in the woods' comment? He mentally laughed about it, smiling slightly in Kyle's direction. "It's alright, really. It's not like it's a big deal at all or something," he smirked slightly, wondering why Kyle would be sorry about something like that. It wasn't his fault anyway. Shrugging it off though, Henry listened to the types of shows that Kyle explained. Watching other peoples' lives sounded a little boring, and Henry wasn't into Vampire killing. He had no reason to be into that anyway. But he wasn't sure what sports were in the first place, so he decided to ask. "What are sports?" he frowned slightly, trying to think if they ever had "sports" in the den.

"Well" Kyle started, settling back into the sofa, and at the same time shifting slightly closer to the other man. "Sports are games like football and basketball and rugby and...all kinds of physical competitions. They compete for points and the team that has the most after the time runs out wins. Does that sound like something you like?" He asked, looking up at the taller man's face. Hmm, the stuble was still there. Normally Kyle would think it lazy, but on Henry it seemed fitting. Game him a kind of gruff edge that Kyle found he liked.

Henry listened intently to the explanation of what sports were, thinking about it for a moment. It sounded like it could be fun. But before he made his decision, he wanted to expand his knowledge of what else was on television. "So there are sports, soups, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer," he recollected. "What else is there? I've heard there are hundreds of channels on cable." he laughed silently to himself as he leaned back in the couch and closed his eyes, picturing all of the things that he was told by Kyle. Sports was the most interesting one so far, but Henry was sure there was something else other than the three things that Kyle had told him about.

"Well" he started, again leaning back into the sofa further, this time until he could feel the tingles of Henry's hair touching his own. "There's supernatural shows, drama's, movies...There's really only a few categories but there's loads of shows and movies in each. Oh, there's sci-fi. Science fiction, like with space ships and aliens and futuristic stuff like that. And there's horror, monsters and killer chasing people and stuff. they're quite good." He turned his head, yet again looking into the face that was now even closer to his own. Hmm...so close... "So...any of that sound good to you?" He was clsoe enough now that he only had to talk softly for Henry to be able to hear him.

The first thing Kyle said, supernatural shows, interested Henry greatly. What kind of things would they have in that? Maybe Werewolves... Henry's eyes opened momentarily as he continued staring straight ahead, not noticing how close him and Kyle were at the moment. Did these shows tell the truth about the different races? Would he be able to learn more about his own race? He eyes glazed over slightly as he got lost in the thought, only coming too when he could smell Kyle's scent a bit closer. He blinked a few times before smiling slightly. "What kind of supernatural shows..." Henry muttered quietly, not looking at Kyle yet. This might be a chance where he could learn more about himself.

Kyle noticed Henry's quiet tone when he asked about supernatural shows, but he couldn't figure out exactly..wait...Henry has been living in the woods his whole life...so maybe he's wanting to...learn? about supernatural creatures and stuff. "Hmmm, there are shows about anything really, some about vampires and werewolves and ghosts and witches. There are a lot of shows out there, most of them have some form of supernatural creature in them. Sometimes they have truthful elements to them but most of the time they are...fantastical or just a bit inaccurate. But...do you wanna watch something supernatural?"

Henry continued to listen to Kyle explain things about the supernatural shows on cable. How they had Witches, Vampires, Werewolves, Ghosts, and other things that were of the supernatural world. He also said that a lot of the time they were a bit inaccurate, which made Henry frown slightly. None-the-less, there had to be some truth within all of the fake stuff atleast. Nodding slightly, he decided. "Yeah, a supernatural show would be interesting. Unless you wanna watch something different...," he said, taking in a breath. Henry himself tried to think of other things that might be on television, at the moment, considering the situation, the only thing he thought of was romance shows.

"Neh, supernatural shows are fine by me. I actually prefer to watch things with a bit of supernatual-ness in them. Anything in particular your wanting to watch? I can try and find a show that fits your criteria if you want." Maybe Henry was looking to learn stuff about the supernatural, and possible learn accurate details from these television programmes. Now, to pick one out of all the ones that could be on. Throwing caution to the wind Kyle shuffled down on the sofa and leaned over to rest his head on Henry's shoulder, finally giving in to the impulse. "...Is this okay?"

Henry smiled when Kyle had agreed to watch a supernatural-themed show. Sinking back into the couch and starting to think about what Kyle said about the shows, he sighed. He didn't know any specific shows since this was his first time watching T.V. obviously. He was glad when the younger man decided that they should try checking the guide, or whatever it was they had on T.V. that detailed shows out. While flipping through the channels though, Henry felt something rest on his shoulder. Rolling his eyes over, he heard Kyle's voice and felt Kyle's breath in his hear as two eyes peered up at him, asking if this was okay. Henry caught his breath as his heart started to flutter and his cheeks turned red. Before he could think about it at all, he felt himself slip out from under Kyle's head and rush towards the door. "I, uh, forgot something at the store." he quickly spat out as he left the apartment building in embarrassment.

Since Kyle hadn't been expecting Henry to suddenly slide off the sofa gravity did it's work and he fell over onto Henry's previously occupied deat. He heard the mans excuse as he sat back up, but by then the other man was heading out the door. Kyle sighed, feeling a small stab or disappointment and...guilt? No. Pain. He knew that Henry was unfamiliar with such intimacy, and knew that he shouldn't have rushed the man but...still...it kind of hurt that Henry felt the need to run from him... So...now what...wait for the man to come back or just go home and call it a day... With another despaired sigh he stodd and slowly left the apartment, making sure to close the door behind him. It didn't have a handle so it sort of locked automatically...Does henry have his key with him? Kyle hoped so, he didn;t want the man to be locked out of his own house... After one last look at the door Kyle turned and headed home...
