I don't know If I'm really...allowed to elaborate. I'd like to though. Haylee thought when replaying Sookie's question, regarding on "why" she was going. "Just to repay a favor." She offered a smile before looking toward Brandy, whom seemed like a really nice person. "It's nice to meet you, Brandy!" Now back onto her previous statement of said "favor," That's kinda vague, but it is the gist. So, I'm not really lying. I can't really fit the explanation into once sentence. Pausing for a brief moment to answer the question about the dress, "It's absolutely beautiful. I'll feel like Marylin Monroe to boot." As for being confident and not showing fear, that would be a hard thing to do. Given that she was already afraid of vampires, though she didn't hate them.
Speaking of that pause in thought, It fits like this, my distant friends were guilty of doing V. So, I struck a deal of sorts to accompany Stan and try to make amends. Eventually, they'll have to make amends too. At least, I'm told they're alive. In the daylight, that didn't mean anything, where as the night time: It did. She'd do whatever she could to help someone in need, sometimes trouble wasn't to far behind. She never went looking for trouble, funny. Right now was about making preparations, at least it would take her mind off of things. "Can't wait to try this on. Say,um, Brandy? Know where I can find some shoes to match?"

Sookie was still browsing a bit, all the sales. She was just thinking of everything she could possibly purchase. There was a cute little blue shirt, that she just thought would look perfect with her while skirt. As she was lost in this pondering, thoughts drifted into her mind. Seemed that Haylee was keeping the real reason of the Fangtasia visit from her and the reason was pretty good. V and her friends and a favor to the vampires. Sookie knew about vampire favors, and she knew them well. What was Haylee going to get herself into?
Her mind wondered and her stomach curled. She had this, like, maternal urge to protect Haylee, let her know what she was doing was going to turn out bad. But, then, she snapped into reality. Sookie could not just, in front of Brandy, right now, say what she just heard. Cause in reality, only Haylee heard it. So, Sookie made a mental post it note to bring this up. Hell, people knew her power and if her power could possibly help Haylee then she would use it. For good and good only. Having drifted off, she replied "Yes, Marilyn Monroe! Perfect!" and then the word shoes entered conversation. "Yes, yes, shoes. Where might they be?" Sookie would get Haylee alone soon and would bring up the whole V and vampire thing, it needed to be said.

"Can't wait to try this on. Say,um, Brandy? Know where I can find some shoes to match?"
Brandy hadn't really been paying attention to the two girls talk, she was busy looking up items on the computer behind the counter. She tended to tune out conversations that didn't directly involve her - after all, it wasn't polite to eavesdrop.
Though, in some cases you just couldn't help it. As Brandy looked up, Sookie had reassured the same question.
"Oh, sure. The shoes are just along the back wall over there by the swimsuits. If you need a size not on hand feel free to call me over"
She threw the pair another smile, and returned to her work.

Haylee smiled upon hearing Sookie agree with her, on the whole Marylin tid-bit and the likeness. The woman was simply gorgeous in either a lite color, or something completely stunning as a dark red. Dare Haylee say it, that it was fun to get all "dolled" up, though it wasn't for a good reason. At least NOT this time, but it took her mind off a great deal of things. "Thanks!" Haylee chirped toward Brandy's reply, the trying "on"period would have to wait. At least until getting the perfect set of shoes and then began to navigate her way toward the swimsuits. Boy, they were lovely! Yet, she didn't have enough in her budget to get one. Man, the time to get a tan was slowly dwindling away. Ah-well, Haylee chuckled and scooted over toward the shoes. Which ones to go for? Feeling like a stranger among so many shoes, it would be a nice change from, well, boots.

BB was a great help, just there to let them know just where to spend their money, given saving money as well. Which was a good thing for a local barmaid who did not have that much to begin with. Sookie had her clothes in hand and her mind on shoes, as per Haylee's suggestion. "Yes, which ones to go for?" Sookie said aloud! Uh oh, had she said that aloud. Crap. It was just impulse, she had heard it so clear even despite her trying to not hear. So, rather that address it, she continued. "I think shoes can heal the soul sometimes. Especially the right ones."

For a moment, she garnished a feeling like being a doe, that was caught within a stare of headlights. The bright light causing a sense of shock, confusion and then-boom! Maybe the story wasn't like that all the time, still; it was a hard feeling to describe. Haylee concentrated on erasing that feeling, ever so gradually and smiled awkwardly. "You were thinki'n almost the exact thing, I was. It's like you read my mind!" IRONIC, full stop and she didn't even know. Really, how often does that happen, when you share the exact same thought, almost? Sure, it was freaky but it was also comforting. In the fact of: Great minds think alike! Haylee gently bore a nodding of her forehead, agreeing with the comment that was made about shoes. "Shopp'n really is therapeutic, it's funny how some guys miss that." Glancing from Sookie and then back onto the shoes in front of her. They were cute, but not what she needed to go with the dress.

This pair of white sandals were just calling her name. She could not stop thinking how cute they would look with her outfit. Especially since the bargains were going to be flooding in thanks to that kind little worker BB. Haylee was herself in awe of the shoes, the sign of someone good. Sookie giggled to herself on that one. Now, back to reality. Sookie had let a mind reading slip, something she tried hard not to let happen. And it seemed that Haylee noticed, at least noticed something. Whatever it was that was making Sookie feel close to this girl was odd, but there was something. Haylee's thoughts were just so clear, it was a bit weird. "Yeah, sometimes I think I can read minds!" Sookie replied, trying to cover her slipup. "I know whatcha mean. Some guys just dont care. But then there are those gay guys on TV that go shopping for other people. Now, they have a wonderful job!" She said as she grabbed up that sweet little pair of white sandals.

"You spooked me a bit, but i'm kind of comforted too." Haylee noted briefly while trying to find THE perfect pair of shoes, it was almost like being lost in the desert with no water "In that um, great minds think alike!" Her throat chuckled until wondering about her statement, why she had felt so comfortable to tell Sookie that. Whom was still a stranger, in a way of hardly knowing her at all. She had to remind herself of that. Even to her, it felt like shopping with a close friend. I hope that didn't freak her out. It's just so weird! I feel like-well, as if I know her. Bah, clear thoughts! Haylee tried to remain blank when skimming for more shoe, her lips drew a smirk. "I think I hit the lottery." Grasping onto a pair of stylish and sleek pair of heel that almost matched her dress, in terms of the tint. "Tell me about it. If all I had to do was shop, I'd be in heaven!" Really, it would be wonderful. It made her feel like she had traveled just about everywhere.

Sookie just smiled at Haylee, the girl was adorable and whatever it was that made Sookie feel so close to the girl she was determined to find out. Maybe a bit of lunch would be the time and place for Sookie to let Haylee know about her little powers. "Jackpot for sure. You need to get those for sure. Perfect!" She said with a smile as she herself picked up those white heels to match her dress. She heard Haylee's thought about being freaked out and gave her a look, one trying to exude comfort.
"I think we need to purchase these. I know they are all my size, Im ready to get them. Maybe BB is going to give us a good deal, if that boss of her's aint there!" Sookie smiled at Haylee. "Maybe we can have some lunch after this? Whatcha think?" Sookie asked, hoping to get a yes so they could figured out what was the factor making them feel so close.

You can't beat your gut. Nor a sense of positive reinforcement; it was a collective sign, that something was meant to happen. Like finding the right pair of shoes, it all seemed to fit. Yep, it felt like "winning the lotto," good and shook her forehead. It felt like that yogurt commercial, comparing things to a feeling of bliss; akin to taste. "I'm glad it's settled!" Her throat giggled, while the rest of her mind and soul had felt at ease. Long since taking a hold of Sookie's look, that didn't appear bothered from her view of things. You often had to be careful in this day and age. Then again, that made it hard to get to know someone: Honestly. Anyone could be a wolf in a sheep's clothing, though she didn't want to think like that. It would be fun to try everything on, but from what she could "eyeball," there didn't seem to be a need.
Speaking of which, she actually needed to purchase her items! Time really flew, when you were occupied. Usually, it was the case. Some days were so slow, it felt like being in a muddy kind of puddle. Clutched there, because you were almost stuch; if she had to describe it all. "I think BB told us about a coupon, around the corner for a deal." She tried to remember correctly, when honestly: It felt like a ton of things had happened already. Sookie was kinda right; about the boss. Hopefully, they could scoot on by! Lunch would be perfect. It wouldn't make her feel like the "odd" one out, in this new Town. "I'd love to!"

Sookie had all her purchases in hand and was ready for a bite to eat. "Yeah, they are over here under this table. Ill grab them real quick!" She replied to Haylee as she walked causally over to the table and picked up a few, one for each to use now and one for later. She walked back over to Haylee and secretly handed her one. "This is a nice hefty percent off. That boss really is just mean!" Sookie whispered as she looked at the coupon.
A low growl came from Sookies stomach as she looked for the checkout area and began to head that way. With the bargain, she was sure going to save alot of money and that was always a great thing. "We can grab a bite in the food court or something? I am just starving, my tummy is a talking!" She said in a bit of pain from hunger and laughed. Sookie got to the counter and the evil boss lady was working which Sookie found just classic as she handed her the coupon and saw the angry look on her face. Nice!
