Night had fallen upon Louisiana, vampires across the area would be waking up right now. Amelia Noel was one of them. She rested the day light in a hole she dug up in the ground. She sat up quickly and her eyes darted around. No one was around her, which is how she wanted it. The last thing she wanted was to be caught covered in dirt, it was a last resort. She was on her way home and miscalculated the time she had to reach home. The morning sun was threatening her and she was weary. She solved the problem by climbing in the dirt.
Bolting up, Amelia brushed as much dirt as she could off her. She would need to go shower and dispose of the clothes she was wearing. A white blouse and a navy blue skirt. It didn't bother her to get rid of them, they weren't the best things in her wardrobe. Taking a second to gather her thoughts she set off running towards her house, she was there in 10 minutes of running. Bursting through the door she ran to her bathroom and showered in a record time of 3 minutes. She slowed down and stepped out of the shower enjoying the smell of cleanliness.
The smell of hot water and soap filled the bathroom as Amelia stepped over to her sink and mirror. She wiped the thin layer of condensation off of it to look at herself. A smile formed on her full lips showing off her pearly white teeth. She retracted her fangs a little bit then hid them once again. It was something that she still wasn't quite used to seeing. Shrugging it off mentally she picked up a towel and began to towel-dry her blond hair.
Soon enough her hair and face were ready for a night out. Amelia had put on black eyeliner and and mascara and put clear lip gloss on her lips. Make-up wise she was finished, she didn't like putting too much on, what was the point? She was already beautiful enough with out it. She made her way out of the bathroom and into her room with her closet, she had a good idea what she wanted to wear. A blue cocktail dress she bought recently, she would make tonight the debut of it. She picked it out of the organized closet and quickly put it on. It fit just right, she smiled at how comfortable she was in it. It was a shorter dress that showed off her long pale legs. She pulled on her black pumps and was ready to go.
Grabbing her purse on the way out was the final thing she had to do. Taking in the cool air of the night she strutted to her car, a black Bugatti Veyron 16.4, an expensive sports car. Of course, it was just for looks. A long time friend of hers gave her the car as a gift, a smile formed on her face as she thought about it. She opened the driver's side door and folded herself into the seat. She loved the car, it was flashy and gorgeous. Amelia took her keys out of her purse and put them in the ignition.
Within minutes of fast driving she arrived at the local hot spot. Fangtasia, a gray and red bar in Shreveport. She parked her car and climbed out of it to get a better look at the building. It was a busy night, which was perfect. She'd meet interesting people. Amelia walked over to the door and paid her fee and she was inside the bar. The back of her throat itched with thirst, she decided it'd be important for her to get a True Blood in her before she started meeting people. The bar counter was crowded, but Amelia moved her way through the humans to the bartender, "one B negative," she ordered in a thick French accent. She placed her money on the bar for the bartender and grabbed her warm bottle when it was placed in front of her. --- Words: 682 For: Anyone Wearing: THISWhere: Fangtasia in Shreveport What time: 11:00 PM Notes: I got a little carried away and started writing a novel, apparently. I stopped myself though, feel free to join in!

Rose had found a seat at a booth in Fangtasia that night. It was good she had as she glanced at the bar it seemed to be a bit busier than usual. Of course when she had arrived she had noticed the tourist bus outside, which of course explained why some of these humans were here. It always intrigued her how humans were so willing to lay with death, what was it that pulled them down the paths of most danger? She had her O negative in front of her and was watching some of the local fangbangers try to catch the attention of the various vampires in the bar tonight. There looked to be a particular tasty one on the dancefloor, maybe later.
Rose's attention was suddenly caught by the entrance of a new vampire, she was wearing a beautiful dress, and Rose was sure it was hard for some to tell this one was a vampire. Sometimes it was so easy to pass for a human, but with the revelation of the existence of vampires most had left that need behind and wore what they were comfortable with, unless of course you were working and had to look more what humans expected vampires to look like. Although Rose had many clothes she always felt most comfortable in the longer dresses she owned, wearing something above her knees really didn't appeal to her for some reason. But Rose was practical and owned something for every occasion.
Rose was thinking how pleasant it would be to have a bit of company when a fangbanger approached her. Sighing she looked at the girl, she's young, and I'm not in the mood to pander to them. Rose watched as the fangbanger smiled and greeted her, today she had decided she was going to be nice to them, with all the memories of late surfacing she was finding it hard to always control her temper. "Child, come back later and maybe we could talk." Rose flashed a smile with her fangs slightly extended to give the fangbanger something to be happy about. It seemed to work as the girl promised she would return and made her leave with an smile that spread from ear to ear.

After meeting with his maker for the first time in over six hundred years Jack was in possibly the best mood he had been in for... well six hundred years. He was once again together with his mistress and she had invited him to move into her nest, it was as if his life was taking the greatest turn for the better.
Fangtasia seemed like the best place to waste a night, until Sekhmet's mansion was ready for occupying, though he did despise the human company in the club so much. As he strolled up to the entrance he spotted the many tourists and groaned loudly. He wasn't allowed to murder them all, which he could in a matter of heart beats, instead he had to pander to their whims. They would stare, take pictures and try to take up his valuable time. Pathetic really. Jack was not some freak show, he was a powerful blood thirsty monster. Well he was. Now with the d**n revelation he was forced to play nice with the cretins.
Though of course there was the odd exception, Ivory being one of them. He was still considering going back to see her again, but not so soon after hurting her in the conflict.
As he walked toward the entrance, dressed in one his usual fine suits he heard the rumbling of a sports car park up. Far too flash for his liking, but this young vampire must have a thing for showing off.
He walked in a few moments before she entered and took a seat at the bar, not bothering to order a drink as he wasn't feeling so hungry for the fake stuff. But he kept an eye on the flash young vampire, glancing at her now and again, and apparently he wasn't the only interested in her.

Amelia watched a human girl next to her from the corner of her eye. She listened to her order her alcoholic drink and noticed the looks she was getting. Sure, she had received the same look from most the other people in the bar, they must not be used to a new face, Amelia shrugged the looks off. However, who wanted to sit alone at the bar? No one. People went to bars to meet people. Well, in this case, vampire. She smiled to herself amused by her own train of thought.
Amelia held the bottle of her True Blood up to her lips and chugged down a big swig of it. Delicious. Well, not the best, but close enough to it. She much preferred human blood, but she wouldn't allow herself to get any. Mainstreaming could be tough. Especially since this whole True Blood thing is a new thing. Spending many years drinking human blood could spoil a vampire. There were some who refused to mainstream and continued to live a savage life of murdering humans. Amelia shivered lightly at the thought of all the humans she murdered. Most of them were accidental, when she starved herself out of anger and lost control and drained a human.
Amelia refused to bring down her night by thinking of that, she shoved the thought from her mind. She hadn't even noticed the two vampires eying her until she snapped herself out of her thoughts. She had unknowingly gone into 'statue-mode' - at least that's what she called it. When a vampire would freeze and be consumed in their own thoughts, Amelia would of blushed if she were able to. She looked around and saw the female vampire, who she didn't know, impress a fang-banger. Her eyes followed the human to a group of humans, perhaps the human was bragging? Imbecile, flirting with death was dangerous.
Turning, she noticed she was being eyed by a male vampire. She nodded politely at him as a way to say, "hello," but she didn't want to intrude on his personal time. He could be a regular and not used to seeing a new face, or he could just not want the new girl to be at the bar. Either way, Amelia felt comfortable right where she was. She picked up her bottle once again and downed the rest of the faux-blood. That would hold her over for a couple hours.

Rose was enjoying herself as she watched the dancing and everything else that went on around her. Occasionally she glanced over to the shop and noticed some of the more nervous humans glancing around them. Mainstreaming was proving difficult for Rose at the minute, the more she tried the more she seemed to notice the humans that would normally attract her. Of course having spent a couple of hundred years chasing humans was not going to make it easy to stop so quickly. Even though vampires had announced their existence a couple of years ago Rose had been living in a nest at that time. She had left the nest for various reasons and found herself here in Shreveport. She couldn't even remember what had brought her here, as she had originally intended on heading to New Orleans. New Orleans was a mecca fro vampires and she had thought it would be easy to live there in peace, but a small detour had left her without a car.
I'm musing again, I need to occupy myself it is never too good to think of the past. Finishing off her Tru Blood Rose decided she really didn't want anymore, she was only drinking ofr the sake of it, not because she actually needed to. She took another look at the bar to see if it had calmed down any, but there was still quite a few patrons up there. Including the new vampire she had noticed earlier. There was also another vampire, much older if her reckoning was accurate, he seemd to also be looking at the younger female vampire.
Maybe he likes them flash. Rose smiled to herself as this brought to mind her maker, then she quickly wiped the smile off her face. If vampires could sigh, that is what Rose would be doing, instead she tried to get the attention of a waitress. That was never hard as this was a place with a reputation to uphold. The waitress approached and Rose gave the girl a tip just for coming over, she really didn't know what she was playing at today, boredom was going to be her downfall.

The vampire was curious now. She nodded to him, only the slightest of nods, but it was good to see the younger ones showing respect to their peers. He smiled back to her and went back to idly passing the time, watching the pathetic human fangbangers run up to the various vampires in the bar. He snarled in annoyance and turned back to the bar, waving the bar staff away again.
Then one approached him. "Hey!" The almost squealing voice began. "Can I take a picture with you? I hear you're pretty old and I really like vampires." The young girl said brightly, holding a digital camera in both hands whilst smiling like an idiot. No one had told her about his temper then. He frowned, not looking in her direction. "Tell me," he started, "How long ago was it since you suckled at your mother's teat?" The woman's face scrunched up in confusion. "Teat?" She asked. "You are far too young to warrent my attention. Go away before I lose my temper." The woman stamped her foot and huffed. "Now see here mister, I was being polite and all but -" "And so was I miss," He said, cutting her off, "But I'm afraid you've waisted my time. Go away now or I shall make a necklace out your ears." The woman was about to speak again but Jack cut her off again with a snarl and a flash of his fangs. She stormed away. Jack rolled his eyes. These humans were becoming quite the annoyance.
He decided that if his mistress would not be here tonight he best keep some company with the others in the bar. He called the waiter over and asked him to get a Tru Blood to the flash woman, and to the woman who had shown an interest in them both. He had seen her looking at it amused him to think he was getting popular.

Kyle sighed and prepared himself for Fangtasia. Pam had told him to come along sometime, and she seemed to be a cool vampire. Not that they all aren't...to some degree. Though from the sounds of things some can be the dark monsters straight out of the books. Okay, first on the agenda - the bar. If he's gonna get through the night he's gonna need some alcohol in him. So, he headed for the bar, not really making eye contact with anyone, lest they take offence. You can never know, and some people will take offence at anything. Anything to start a fight over.
"Hey ahm, can I get a Smirnoff Ice please?" He asked the barman.

Amelia watched the exchange between the male vampire and the fangbanger. How could the stupid human not take the hint? This would end badly. She hoped not, she would step in. She may be vampire, but she would stop the vampire from ripping the human apart. The persistent human continued until the man was forced to show his fangs, this is when Amelia stood up. She was ready to break up a fight, however the human seemed to take the hint.
Amelia looked around wondering if anyone saw her movements. They would of been too fast for a human to see, but a vampire would have noticed if they were paying attention. She had already sat back down once the human smartened up and left the vampire alone.
At that same moment a tourist walked up to her and weakly asked, if they could take her picture. Amelia wasn't one to like photographs, but she wasn't one to cause a scene either. "Maybe later," she replied. She hoped the human would take the hint. He did and walked back to his group smiling. That wasn't too hard, she was just glad he wasn't a persistent one.
Her attention was grabbed by a human ordering an alcoholic drink, she watched him curiously. He wasn't a regular human, she could smell that, but she didn't know what he was. Throughout her years of being vampire she had only ran into shapeshifters and Werewolves. She always assumed there was more out there, she heard talk of fairies and how delicious they were and telepathic humans and witches, but Amelia was one to need proof.

Rose watched the exchanges at the bar with interest, tonight looked like it was going to be fun, sometimes humans didn't get the hint. So many wanted photographs and autographs but vampires just weren't used to this sort of attention. A waiter walked over to Rose's table and offered her a True Blood while explaining who it was from. Of course Rose wasn't one to decline a gift, it would seem improper. She sent the waiter on his way with a smile and turned to face the vampire who had sent over her drink. She had noticed him before, he was a lot older than she was, and as is courteous she gave him a respectful nod, also indicating if he wished to join her he could. Usually when Rose was around so many vampires in such a safe place she let herself slip into a thoughtful mood, but tonight she had come here for distraction.
As Rose was sipping her drink she noticed the young man from Merlotte's she had seen the other night, she never had caught his name. What could bring him to Fangtasia? To Rose he was just another human, but she was interested in what they were up to now and again. During the years vampires still led a sheltered life ROse had spent most of her time arway from humans, she didn't trust them, so to see the interact so freely intrigued her.

The tourists continued to stare and take pictures of the vampires like they were some animal at a zoo. It made Jack a little ill, if he could be, at the thought. He could feel himself torn between seating still and letting the night pass or letting go of his restraints and murdering everyone of the humans that were there. It would be over in a matter of moments, and he wondered if Sekhmet would be pleased with him for doing so. No, she would probably want them to suffer in agony for a little longer. Jack smiled to himself at the thought and turned his head at the two vampires he had sent Tru Bloods too.
The younger of the two was now being hassled by another human and Jack felt the rage rise in his throat. His fists clenched and his lip curled into a snarl. Kill them all... A voice whispered in his head. It'll be over and you can have a quiet night, even a taste of real blood... His eyes flashed insanity, and for a brief moment he felt his whole body lose control. He rushed back into the real world and regained his composure. Jack needed company to keep him sane.
He glanced back to the others, the elder of the two had been kind enough to him and with a slow motion he raised a single hand, extending his index finger. He waved her over with the movement of his index and slowly did the same to the other female vampire. They seemed interesting enough, and if he was not pre occupied by something soon he would be forced to kill everyone.

Kyle silently accepted his drink and gave the barman the correct coins in exchange. Then, taking a large gulp of it, turned around to survey the rest of the place. He could immediately tell who was vampire and who was human - the human wearing the more...cliché outfits. Pam had told him that they done her head in, but sometimes she wore clothing like that - if only to attract mroe people. Also, the vampires just seemed to...move differently. They carried themselves with a different air about them. He couldn't really explain it, just that the vampires were more...serious. Powerful

Rose had expected much of the same tonight, but here was an old vampire indicating he would like her to join him. Well, who am I to refuse? Having not been in town long she only knew a few people, not many vampires so it was good to be acknowledged by someone and it would pass the time. Standing slowly she lifted her skirt slightly to step out of the booth, and almost being knocked over by an over-enthusiastic dancer. Rose couldn't help herself,s he let out a low growl and flashed her fangs at the idiot human, who quickly got out of her way. Regaining her posture she went over to the older vampire, again giving him the respectful nod he deserved.
"Evening, I am Rose., thank you for the drink."
Rose took a quick look around to see if the other vampire was approaching and seen the human who had been at Merlotte's. She gave him a smile and turned he attention back to the vampire. Looking at him reminded Rose of her maker, he was only the second male vampire she had met since she had come to Shreveport, the first being the Sheriff. Of course, most old vampires were bringing back memories of her maker and the early years. This was the reason she had never really been by herself much, too much time to think about things, but when she was in a nest she had always let her crueler, more vengeful nature take over. These days she couldn't afford o let that happen, so here she was, hundreds of miles away from her former nestmates, and still thinking how nice a bit of uman blood would be.

Amelia raised an eyebrow at the waitress who brought a True Blood to her, "thanks," she uttered and tipped the waitress well. She didn't know whom the drink came from, but she wasn't one to turn it down. She took a swig of it and looked to the female vampire she was looking at earlier, she appeared to have received the same gift she had gotten. Her blue orbs then moved to the male vampire she was beckoning them over.
She did as she was told and pushed herself off the stool where she sat and glided over to the male vampire. She looked around the bar before landing her gaze back on him, "hello, thank you for the drink," she greeted quietly, knowing he'd still here it with the heightened senses. She nodded her head towards him once again out of respect.
The older female vampire was there as well, she nodded towards her as well, "I'm Amelia," she informed the two of them.

Thankfully this evening she was not working the entrance. In her pale green pencil skirt and matching twin set she felt much more at ease. All of her jewelry was gold and she was able to match with a pair of stunning gold stilettos.
However she was on the table tonight for one on one time with anyone who had big enough pockets. Pam smirked, she couldn't just let anyone have her time.
Pam did a scan of the crowd and her eyebrows shot up to see Kyle at the bar. Obviously the man at the door would have to be fired, the child wasn't even old enough to drink.
OOC: Kyle, I didn't know if you had said in your previous thread that you were under 21. If not I will fix it!
Pam was pleased to see him and was glad he decided to take her up on her offer. She glided over to him almost elated. "Kyle! My, my this is a pleasant surprise! What are you doing over in poor man's land? I have a booth that is on reserve especially for you!"
Eric always had a few tables open in case they had a few unannounced guests or V.I.P.'s and she would give Kyle one of those since he wasn't paying.

Oh thank the Goddess, a familiar face! Even if it a face that could kill with a glare...but Kyle was, luckily, on her good side so he wouldn't be turned to stone any time soon. He stood up when Pam made her presence known, drink in hand. "Pam! Thank the gods a familiar face. And...you have a booth already? You didn't even know I was coming tonight." Hmm, maybe she was just that good at observation. A good quality.
"Sure, lead the way" He said, holding his arm out in an indication of the lady to go first.(OOC - im not sure if i did either, he jsut glamoured his ID )
