This town is quite the sight for sore eyes.
A man clad in a stylish suit followed one of the few trails that the graveyard had to offer. A simple smirk implanted on his lips as his walk was of no ordinary man, but Vampire. William was his name, an ordinary Vampire if anything. Up until this time not a single soul knew of his whereabouts. As he walked forward he was led to a grave which was old & decrepit. "What a pity." He stated ever so calmly. The person who laid beneath the ground most likely has been forgotten, no sign of visitors to the gravesite could be recognized. Even the name and date on the stone was dull and barely noticeable. Time was always cruel to the things that happened to be subjected to it. Unlike vampires' who were & are everlasting, not everything in the world can be as lucky. He brushed the gravestone with the sleeve of his light-blue suit, dirt now staining the quite expensive piece of clothing.
It was the dead of night, the summer breeze still flowed through the trees, such a relaxing sensation. William lifted his face toward the night sky, closing his eyes' as he took in the surrounding, breathing heavily he left out an exaggerated sigh. "I wonder if there are many Vampire located in this town?" He questioned, it would indeed be interesting if he could meet some Southern-vamps. Still standing in front of the decayed grave William seemed is as if he was waiting for someone or something to approach him. Maybe it was his lucky day & he'd come upon someone who'd grace him with conversation.
William up to this point had been traveling the world, conversations with others was like the cherry on top of a finely made sundae. Talking was surely a hobby of his & hearing the stories and experiences of others made conversations the slightest bit' more enjoyable.

Rose was running, running as fast as she could, it felt good to have the wind flying through her hair. She was heading back to that little bar she had enjoyed the other day, Merlotte's. As she laughed to herself the wind whipped her skirt around her legs, Rose had always loved to run, even as a human, so tonight she was running again. It helped lift her mood, and she didn't really have any other transport opportunities, having still not got around to purchasing a new car.
Tonight Rose had decided to cut through the graveyard, most people would think this was were vampires would feel comfortable, but there were too many memories that Rose associated with the places she really didn't want cropping up. So at this she attempted to pick her speed up a bit more, but just as she was almost through the graveyard, there standing to the side was a stranger. Of course Rose knew he was a vampire, and this brought her to an immediate halt. This place seems to attract supes. Thought Rose as she made herself presentable. Her hair was loose around her shoulders and she wore an ankle lace layered skit and cream bodice. While Rose had been getting dressed she wasn't thinking about practicality.
Walking slowly up to the vampire she tried to make a bit of noise so as not to startle him. She stopped about 50 yards from where he stood, and from there she could tell he was a bit younger than her. Knowing he could hear her speak, without need to raise her voice she said to him.
"And have you found anything interesting yet?"

"And have you found anything interesting yet?"
That short phrase was heard either forty or fifty yards opposite his direction. Vampires were one of the worlds' greatest hunters. Their hearing had to be acute or they'd never be able to drink the blood of an unsuspecting human. Turning around sluggishly, William noticed a women or better yet a Vampire standing a fair distance away. His lips peered into a smirk even further. He then opened his mouth to begin to respond to her remark. "If I happen to say yes, will you come any closer?" He question innocently, maybe to provoke her to decrease the distance between the two. "Conversing over fifty or so yards away, Is not quite pleasing if you ask me. " He stated quite frankly. His demeanor was calm, he knew from the moment she opened her mouth to speak she had to of been far older then himself. Which would mean she'd be both stronger and faster.
His hair swayed slightly as the breeze still cleared through the passing. An eerie silence befell the two as William awaited the woman's response. He would dare not be rude or any negative. He knew she'd possess the strength to rip him limb from limb & he respected that power. William at times could seem rude and cruel, but never to a Vampire older then himself. He knew much better then to get himself killed by shouting a remark surrounded by animosity. His dark eyes' were locked onto her position as he remained calm and observant.
This sure this'll be interesting.

"If I happen to say yes, will you come any closer?"
Rose smiled at this frank vampire, she thought he might be an interesting person to know, and was willing to see how this encounter played out. "If I was to come closer, I might disturb your reverie. No matter the difference I know you can hear me." He seemed to remain calm, taking this as a sign she carefully walked forwards another 10 yards. She was in a playful mood tonight, quite talkative for her normal self. This vampire seemed almost like an English gent, reminding her of her formative time spent in London, it was nice to hear a familiar accent. Looking around herself, the cool nights breeze had little effect while she wasn't moving so fast, yet it still made her hair play across her face. Letting her fangs extend ever so slightly to show she was having fun Rose brushed the strands of hair from her face.
"Your turn young one."

This was simply delightful. William loved to have playful conversations. A female vampire who plays hard to get made everything the funner. His smile drifted ever further up his cheeks. A rare sight for any, being the fact that William barely lightens up to any old person or rather Vampire. "My reverie could never of been broken by such a beauty as yourself." He stated sharply. He tended to be quite the womanizer in his time, his handsome physical appearance made it as easy as pie to swindle the hearts of unsuspecting females, but he was more then one hundred percent sure it wouldn't be as easy with this one. Walking an equal ten or so yards, the two were even closer as before. He could see the pearly white fangs protrude from her mouth. A sight that frightened him not. "I was thinking not a moment before You had shown yourself that I wonder how many Vampires I'd actually obtain the delight in meeting down here." He paused for a moment or so before speaking again. "Yet it was as easy as thinking that you appeared..How intriguing." He remarked, raising his left hand to his chin in a manner fit for a scholar.
"My name is William, & you are?" He questioned. Knowing that the woman might not of been as easygoing as himself. Would she exchange her name as well? It was possible. Yet still William's posture never faltered. He stood high, chin up as if he was the prince of England itself.
"So, go on?"

"My reverie could never have been broken by such a beauty as yourself."
A charmer. Charm was nothing new to Rose, but she did enough being complimented, especially when the person was doing it just out of fear. But she was always careful, after more than 400 years she knew most of the plays, though still enjoyed to go along with them. William moved towards Rose by approximately the same distance she had, and it seemed a game was in play. How much could she learn about this vampire as they drew closer together? Would he be as open as seems?
"Yet it was as easy as thinking that you appeared..How intriguing."
Although charming William also seemed in control, as if he had no fear of her, though why should he as she had soon no hostility towards him. "Vampires are plenty in this area, one lives not too far from this site." Rose wasn't one to believe in coincidences, though they did happen, but you could normally find someone behind it, or maybe she had become too used to the plotting that took place within vampire society. "Intriguing that I normally don't take this route, but tonight I wished to feel the wind through my hair. If I had wanted you would barely have noticed my presence, but you seemed so picturesque as you stood there I was taken aback."
He really did seem a gentleman, his stance and mannerisms almost giving away his upbringing. Rose's birth land held much for her, and she loved how a proper gentleman used to have so much confidence around her, not always knowing what awaited them. Introducing himself as William, Rose stood slightly taller to match his actions as he awaited her reply. How would she play this game? What's in a name, but once given a vampire can hold that in his memory for an eternity. Taking another step towards William, her eyes focused on him solely, the attention of a vampire can be either delightful or worrisome, but to Rose this was a game she was enjoying.
"William? Such an ... English name don't you think? Though mine shall match yours. I am Rose."

"Intriguing that I normally don't take this route, but tonight I wished to feel the wind through my hair. If I had wanted you would barely have noticed my presence, but you seemed so picturesque as you stood there I was taken aback."
William's smile had turned from a joyous one to a stiff one. Pushing his finger's through his hair, he'd managed to tuck a large handful behind his ear. "I have those sort' of days often, simply running through the forest without no other thought or worry at mind tends to be quite the method to relax ones' mind." His deep brown eyes winked for a moment or so. At this point William had been able to equate that this woman had no desire to spawn animosity between the two. Which frankly was relieving. Being able to let one's guard down in this cut-throat world was a stress reliever among other things. William's body language was soft & calm at the time. His gaze softened as well. Leaning against one of the grave-stones, the girl began to spoke once again.
"William? Such an ... English name don't you think? Though mine shall match yours. I am Rose."
His pupils shrunk at that exact moment, in amazement possibly? "You...from good ol' Britannia?" He questioned, interested highly at that time. William hadn't the pleasure to meet another Vampire from across the "pond" in America. It'd had to be at least thirty or so years since he'd seen a European Vamp. "I pray I am not keeping you from an prior engagement?" Pausing before he opened his lips to speak again. "I'd never forgive myself if you were to get in trouble for being late or something of the sort?" Thought happy to see a possible one of his kind, he became slightly homesick. Reminiscing the days he'd lived in London. Those days brought back blissful & sorrowful memories. Oh how he missed those days.

Smiling Rose's thoughts wandered for a bit, as she remembered running through a field. Well, maybe I was chasing. Watching as he leaned against a gravestone she felt ore at ease and walked a bit closer. It wasn't late into the night and Rose was in no hurry to be anywhere, though she would never let that on too much. It was a clear night and Rose could see quite clearly around her, she new a vampire lived in Bon Temps somewhere, though not sure where, so she didn't let her guard down too much.
"You...from good ol' Britannia?"
Smiling at William's phrasing she lfted her chin slightly. "Yes, a small village in England. Of course I haven't been there in a long time." Her village held a lot of memories and when she wanted she could recall most of them quite clearly, but not all were joyful. "You are not keeping me, I was running for the ... enjoyment." Although Rose had been heading to Merlotte's she had no real reason for going there but her interest in this small town.

"Yes, a small village in England. Of course I haven't been there in a long time."
Nodding slowly, his smile remained. "Of course. You are of much older age than myself if I'm not mistaken?" He questioned Rose. She most definitely seemed older & stronger. She was different than most Vampire he'd met on his ongoing journey. She was calm & polite, unlike all the cruel Vampire that lived in this world. But of course, she could of been hiding her true nature. Masked by a pretty smile? He didn't delve to much into it. Instead he began to speak again. "Have you lived here long? In this town I mean?" He asked, a quizzical look implanted on his pale face.
If she was in fact older than him, she'd probably been around the World & again. An everlasting life had much in store, one could do all they desire, all they pleased. A gift & a curse. The night was just perfect. The warm air filled his nose as he inhaled. Truly a paradise among others. Leaning his head forward toward the dirt path the two stood on, his hair cascaded forward blocking his eyes' from view. His gaze was locked upon her has the many stands of hair possibly halted her from seeing him. A moment of loneliness filled his form. Maybe settling down for abit in this small town would be for the best? An adventure in itself.

"Of course. You are of much older age than myself if I'm not mistaken?"
Rose's smile faltered slightly, of course he knew she was older, but by how much? In vampire society the younger had to respect the older, he was doing so, but he was also comfortable. Although Rose though tit wouldn't matter much if she was 800 years older than William. Slowly closing her eyes and opening them to refocus, she gave William a playful smile. "I am over 400 years old William." Rose hadn't met such a suave vampire in many years, she had spent too long her previous nest giving her a slightly harder edge. Her maker would have enjoyed that, but Rose had found it necessary to leave to attempt and mainstream with the humans.
"Have you lived here long? In this town I mean?"
"Aren't you a curious one? Do you always try to garner so much information from stranger?" Of course Rose was jesting, but she just wasn't used to so many questions. Even within this small town nobody had questioned her so much about her past as William had. Of course who are humans to question vampires? She would have found that much more curious. She watched as William tilted his head forward, obscuring her view of his face, tough she could almost feel his eyes upon her. "It is a shame to hide such a handsome face, though I feel your gaze may still be upon me. In answer to your question I do not reside in Bon Temps but in nearby Shreveport. I, myself, only arrived in the area a couple of weeks ago."

"I am over 400 years old William."
His hair still veiling his gaze, he scanned her body. Every feature. "As much as I anticipated." He stated sharply. Knowing quite well that Rose would've been able to rip a hole in his chest with ease. William being only a hundred and sixty or so years old would most definitely watch his tongue around this Vampire. Age was of the highest factor in the Vampire world. If two vampires' clashed the older with no doubt would win, in both strength, speed & stamina. It was the way the Vampire life-style functioned, the young were inferior to the old. Nothing could be done to change the harsh fact that this mere beauty would be able to snap his neck without breaking a sweat.
"Aren't you a curious one? Do you always try to garner so much information from stranger?"
Gracefully flipping his head up wards, his hair pushed itself back as a smile unveiled itself from the abyss of his dark brown hair. "Information is man's- rather Vampire's greatest weapon in this world." Pausing a moment before he began to speak, his sight was set on her face. "But don't flatter yourself, I delve in conversation with most souls' I come in contact with. A rather bad habit I may add." Actually regretting that phrase. Not knowing if she'd take offense to it, not that he meant for it to sound arrogant.
Blushing ever so slightly at her comment of him hiding his Handsome face. As good as he happened to look, rarely was he awarded with a sweet comment as of hers. "Coming from such a Vampire as yourself, I'm ecstatic to the utmost extreme." His playful smile reaching the farthest corners of his pale cheeks. Standing up He met her gaze, eye to eye. "Not that you have to answer this question, but do you have other Vampire acquaints?" His voice timid as a rabbit, he was interested on how the vampires here in the south function.

"As much as I anticipated."
As Williams tone changed to one of sharpness Rose stiffened slightly, although his haughty demeanor was somewhat charming she was not about to be disrespected by him. One thing she always found to her advantage, was that some still tended to underestimate what a pretty female can do, she may have been lying low the past half century, but she was still capable of cruelty as most vampires were. For most vampires cruelty was almost a natural state, it seemed once they had lost their humanity and were, to some extent, immortal they tended to lose all inhibitions and give in to what would previously have been their nightmare.
Flipping his hair back Rose watched as he once again revealed his smile, she could imagine how females would swoon at his feet, and was sure it was so even when he had been human. If he had been human still, I am sure he would attract the attention of many a vampire.
"But don't flatter yourself, I delve in conversation with most souls' I come in contact with. A rather bad habit I may add."
As he spoke looking straight at Rose, she could feel herself bristle at his words. She was sure he meant no harm by them, but his arrogant tone came across in a much different manner and not to Rose's liking. Her fangs protruded slightly at her annoyance as her lips fell into a straight line, there could be no mistake in how she felt at this phrase. Even as he continued talking, easily accepting her compliment, she was finding it hard to calm herself. No compliment shall escape me again without earning it. Aware of how alone they were, she knew how easy it would be to let her nature take over, but she had told Eric she would make no trouble within his area. Instead Rose would watch him closely, in vampire society politics was played to the extreme.
"Not that you have to answer this question, but do you have other Vampire acquaints?"
He even had the arrogance to ask another question. Of course Rose could answer him honestly, yes she knew one or two , casually, within the area, but who was she to impart this information. "I have many acquaintances the world over William, I have lived in many placed with many vampires for many centuries."

"I have many acquaintances the world over William, I have lived in many placed with many vampires for many centuries."
Nodding quaintly to her comment, William turned in the opposite direction & had taken two or three steps before halting. His hair still pushed back, face in view, he began to speak. "I admire your attitude." He simply stated before he crossed his arms over his abdomen. "I truly wish I could absorb that aspect of you." Still not directly looking at her eye to eye. "I've been alone for quite some time you see. Not as easy as some may perceive." His gaze now locked toward the dirt path the two stood on. "We may not factually be alive, but we still have the ability to express emotions. Is it normal for us to feel alone?" He questioned rhetorically, knowing she'd still may answer the question.
Alone..
Laughing at the very thought of it. Solitude was by far the biggest part of William's life as a Vampire & he was sure many others' felt this same emotion. Regardless, It couldn't be helped. To ally oneself with another would only result in either of the two being hurt. A fact of life. A fact that could not be swayed by any means. "Maybe I shall find the answer to my question in this very town?" He questioned himself, this town could be the key to his question. What he was searching for. Unfolding his arms, allowing them to gracefully meet his side, William turned around. A joyous smile drawn on his face. "Forgive me, these sentimental philosophies tend to erect themselves on their own selfish whim." Chuckling ever-so slightly.

After nodding William tuned, as if to walk away, but he only took a couple of steps. Rose was beginning to understand there was a lot more to this vampire, she could only imagine what was going on in his head.
"I admire your attitude. I truly wish I could absorb that aspect of you."
Standing with his arms across his chest, William no longer was looking at Rose, from what he was saying she could gather he was in an introspective mood tonight. She could see why he chose to stand in a graveyard and stare at the stars. Many times Rose had done the same, but she had chosen this life, or, as her maker had put it, fate had chosen it for her. As William talked about loneliness, he had almost distant look on him, and Rose began to feel he had been on his own too long. It was not unheard of for vampires to tire of their life and meet the sun, but it normally happened after walking the world for several centuries. Knowing he was younger than herself she mentally questioned where his maker could be, how long has he been alone?
"We may not factually be alive, but we still have the ability to express emotions. Is it normal for us to feel alone?"
Even as William spoke the question rose recognised the tone of it as rhetorical, but she felt drawn to this young vampire, alone here in the night. Walking slowly to him she rested her hand lightly on his shoulder for a second, unsure of whether he would welcome the contact. It was always hard to read a vampires emotions as they learned quite quickly to mask any facial expressions, and it did not help that Williams gaze wa now averted from her.
"As you say vampires have emotions, some feel the loneliness of our existence more keenly than others."
Rose had known loneliness in her time as a vampire, she wasn't sure of any who hadn't at some point longed for company. Not that there were not many places for vampires to make acquaintances, it was still possible to feel the loneliness of an immortal life. When she had chosen to leave her previous nest Rose had thought it a wise choice as she had found it hard to integrate within human society while residing there, but she missed the security and companionship a nest provided, and no meeting place could replace that. As this all ran through her head, William let his arms slide to his side, turning to meet Rose with, once more, a smile and a chuckle.
"Forgive me, these sentimental philosophies tend to erect themselves on their own selfish whim."
Being no fool Rose was not convinced William had finished dwelling on his feelings, it could be hard for one so young. Again, trying to find his age, she realised he was at least old enough to be without his maker, and in control of himself. But she felt this was also a characteristic he had possessed before he was turned, she could almost imagine how he would be accused of being morose had they been within English society. This in itself was enough to bring a genuine smile to her face, as she remembered once witnessing the behaviour of a foppish gentleman towards his melancholy friend. Truly a sight to behold as the alcohol flowed freely through the fops glass and the friend became more poetically despondent as the night wore on. At that time she remembered how she told the young man that she could help him feel relief from his dour humour, well, i did, even if it was through death.

"As you say vampires have emotions, some feel the loneliness of our existence more keenly than others."
He listened intently. She of course was older, which meant she was that much more wiser than himself. Taking her words to heart, he couldn't help but feel a sense of calmness, her words soothing as a lullaby. Was this the feeling a Maker & its offspring possessed? Quite possible. "I thank you. I don't think I've been able to have such a conversation with another of my kind before." A soft breeze again pushed itself through the meadow the two stood upon. His hair swayed, as if it was a dramatic scene of some chick-flick.
"As I happened upon this graveyard, I didn't expect to meet someone so genuine. For that I am forever in your debt." He stated, gracefully bowing, directed to her of course. Now standing in his erect posture, he lifted his left arm. Scratching the back of his neck as if he wanted to ask a final question of Rose, he opened his mouth to speak. "Would it be asking to much of me if we could take a little walk toward wherever it was you were heading?" His words serene, would she accept?
