Damian was walking down the road, the same place he met Matt. He didn't want to think of there time in Dallas, the time he found his girlfriend, who he thought hated vampires and anything that wasn't two-natured, cheating on him with a vampire. He hated thinking of her badly because he cheated on her too, with a human man, and he thought Karma was very true.
Damian decided he needed a friend and the only one he had was Brandy, a witch who was in Dallas and witnessed his girlfriends betrayal. He needed advice and the only one he could think of to give it to him was Brandy. He took out his phone and sat on the curb,Brandy, it's D' can you meet me in front of the Bon Temps Liabrary. I need to talk to someone, I need some adivce.
Damian walked his way towards the Liabrary and waiting for a text to make sure she was coming before he headed home. He needed to speack with her, and tell her about Lafayette, get it off his chest. He noticed the church and decided to make a detour. He walked into the chruch and sat at a pew and prayed to God. 'God, if you can hear me and if your listening, please tell me what you think I should do. I did something horriable and I want to be forgiven..Please forgive Alicia too. I know she is sorry, deep down for hurting people. She doesn't like doing that.'
Damian finished praying and walked out of the church and headed back down the road. He didn't know what he wanted anymore and that's what he needed advise on. What he should do now that he didn't have Alicia. She was someone he would always love like a sister, and she hurt him, and he hurt her. Now that he didn't have her, he wanted her more. He loved her, and wanted her happy. If she was happy with a vampire, then he must act that way, even if he wasn't happy about her dating anyone. He sat on the curb while he waited for a response and Brandy to show up.

Talking, and advice. Two things that Brandy was extremely gifted at. She held her phone in her hands, texting a very simple message back to him: I'm on my way. Give me 20 minutes
It had been about 2 days since the craziness of Maryann had been over. Brandy was pretty much healed now, save for a few bruises on her face, her arms, and her lower legs. That, and she was dying to cut her long hair - something she felt was necessary. She had been through a rough few days, and she didn't really have anybody to talk to about it.
About how she almost died, about how she had to take Jack's blood, about how she saw Sam almost killed right in front of her. How she found the most unlikely of allies in the end. What a week.
Brandy had decided to walk, deciding she needed some air and walking never seemed to hurt anybody. She was able to see Damian on the curb from a few feet away and she waved as she approached him. Quietly she took a seat beside him, and turned her head to speak with him.
"Thanks for asking me, I kind of need someone to talk too as well. But you start, I have all the time in the world right now to listen"

Damian gave a sigh of relief when he got the message. He needed this more then anything. Thanks He waited and thought of how to think of what to say. He could start with how he felt about Alicia and what she did, then go on to explaining what he did and go from there.
Then Damian saw Brandy walk up and she seemed very upset. She was bruised badly. He got up and ran to her. "What..." but before he could speak she said something.
"Thanks for asking me, I kind of need someone to talk too as well. But you start, I have all the time in the world right now to listen"
"First off sit down. Second it's about Alicia. I feel really hurt and I don't know what to do. I loved her like a sister and we've been friends since we were babies. And dated since we were twelve. I don' know what to do anymore, she hurt me and I hurt here just as badly," Then he remembered that Brandy didn't know of Lafayette and him. "I did stuff with Lafayette," he knew she knew who he was because her boyfriend was the owner. "I feel like what happened was karma for what I did to her. I guess I didn't love her more then a sister or I wouldn't of cheated, and she must not love me like I thought."
Damian was trying to get to his point,"I don't know wether I should be angry, sad or what. Did I deserve it? Did she? Can you help please Brandy? Tell me what I should do." Damian looked into Brandy's eyes, pleading. He was close to tears so he blinked them out and looked at her.

"What..."
Brandy's eyes had softened when he had ran to her, showing general concern over her bruises. After he motioned for her to sit down she was glad when he started talking about himself first... she could explain her own situation later.
He had called her over there, after all.
"First off sit down. Second it's about Alicia. I feel really hurt and I don't know what to do. I loved her like a sister and we've been friends since we were babies. And dated since we were twelve. I don' know what to do anymore, she hurt me and I hurt here just as badly,"
She could see in Damian's eyes and his body language that he was really hurting and she couldn't blame him. He had been through a lot, but she could also tell that something was running deeper than that. And he had confessed what it was in his next breath -
"I did stuff with Lafayette,"
Brandy's eyes had widened at that news. She knew Lafayette well enough to know he preferred men - but she also had liked the cook, and held a high respect for him. She just didn't realize Damian was bisexual.
"I feel like what happened was karma for what I did to her. I guess I didn't love her more then a sister or I wouldn't of cheated, and she must not love me like I thought."
Oh. So they both cheated on each other. Brandy had parted her lips to say something, but she stopped when Damian made it obvious he still had more to get off of his chest. Brandy decided to let him get it all out.
"I don't know whether I should be angry, sad or what. Did I deserve it? Did she? Can you help please Brandy? Tell me what I should do."
Oh those eyes. The way the looked at her, pleaded with her for the answers. She inched closer to him and without another word she put her arms around him. It actually hurt her physically to hug him but she pushed past her own pain so that if he was going to cry - he could at least cry into her.
"I think... Damian.. that everything happens for reason. You can love someone but not be meant for them.. I know how much it hurts to.. "
Brandy had stopped for a moment, her brown eyes drifting to the library as her hand rested against the back of Damian's head gently. She took in a breath, talking low so that her voice as well as her actions could be comforting to him.
"Stop being mad at yourself. You had a moment with Lafayette, you were drawn to him but nobody can blame you for being lonely. You both broke your bonds of trust. But if you still care about her, and she still cares about you, it doesn't mean you have to completely shut each other out."
Brandy had eased away from him, returning her arms to her lap. She didn't want to make him uncomfortable by hugging him too long.. or something. She just wanted to be there for him, the way she was back in Dallas when everything first went down.
So instead of a hug, she rubbed his back with a soft expression on her face. It felt like.. he needed that reassurance. That he wasn't sh!t because Brandy would never EVER let him try to convince himself that he was.
"Be angry. Be sad. Be what you have to be to let all the emotions out. Then let yourself get over it. And let her get over it. Call her and tell her that you forgive her, and know in your heart that even if she doesn't say she forgives that she will. If she is as special as you say she is, then she will."

Damian leaned into Brandy, he was happy to have a friend like her. He needed someone to listen and comfort him and vise versa. He let the tears roll down as he listened to the talented BB's advise.
"I think... Damian.. that everything happens for reason. You can love someone but not be meant for them.. I know how much it hurts to.. "
Damian knew this the day he walked into Merlotte's for the first time. The day he met Lafayette. He found out how much he loved Alicia but not the way he thought he did. He smiled after Brandy rested her head on his. He was happy to have BB in his life.
"Stop being mad at yourself. You had a moment with Lafayette, you were drawn to him but nobody can blame you for being lonely. You both broke your bonds of trust. But if you still care about her, and she still cares about you, it doesn't mean you have to completely shut each other out."
"I know. It's just....she was so good to me. I broke her trust...I know she broke mine, but I did it with out even knowing mine was broken. And I know that I could still be in her life and I love her. But I don't know if she loves me like I do her. She will always be family, we've been through a lot and I just don't know how to find out if she wants to be in my life anymore."
Once Brandy let go of him, Damian sat up and noticed how happy he was. Damian was so comforted, he stopped crying. He wiped his tears off his cheeks and breathed before leaning his head in his hands. He still couldn't feel completely happy, no matter what anyone told him.
"Be angry. Be sad. Be what you have to be to let all the emotions out. Then let yourself get over it. And let her get over it. Call her and tell her that you forgive her, and know in your heart that even if she doesn't say she forgives that she will. If she is as special as you say she is, then she will."
"I want to be all the above, but I don't want to get angry and take it out on you or someone else." Damian was on the verge of tears, due to knowing he was gonna take something out on Brandy, no matter how hard he tried not to. "I am trying to get over it and she doesn't know what I did, I haven't got the courage to tell her," he was gonna cry all over again. "I hope she does forgive me. No matter how much I don't want to her as a lover doesn't mean I don't love her."
Damian sat up and rewiped his eyes before turning to Brandy. He saw the bruises again and remembered what he was gonna say earlier. "What happened to you?" Damian brushed his hand over the bruises on her face before lightly kissing her cheek in a non-romantic way.

Damian let out all of his feelings, which was what Brandy knew he needed. To be able to talk to someone that wouldn't judge him, but would listen to him and give advice that he needed to hear. She listened tentatively at all of his responses, his concerns, and his feelings - she truly wanted to give her friend whatever he wanted to feel better and not keep beating himself up.
"I want to be all the above, but I don't want to get angry and take it out on you or someone else."
Brandy wasn't worried about him taking it out on her, Damian might of been an emotional mess but she knew he wasn't that type of person. He was one of those people that she could trust completely, and she had hoped he felt the same way about her.
"I am trying to get over it and she doesn't know what I did, I haven't got the courage to tell her,I hope she does forgive me. No matter how much I don't want to her as a lover doesn't mean I don't love her."
Brandy nodded, putting her hand on his shoulder to try and comfort him. He was worried that she wouldn't forgive him, but it was probably for the best that he tell her the truth.
"Then tell her that. Tell her what happened, how it made you feel and be sure to let her know you still want her as friend and that you still love her. Even if it isn't for her, do it for yourself"
It seemed Damian had calmed down a lot, and that brought a gentle smile to Brandy's face. She hated seeing him so torn up inside and she was just glad she was able to be there for him. All of her friends were important to her and Damian was no exception.
"What happened to you?"
Oh right. She had forgot about it. She was about to tell him when she felt his hand brush lightly across her face and his lips press gently against her cheek.
Her cheeks flushed pink and she eased away from him, trying not to look into his eyes.
"Oh I uh... "
It was a moment that probably would of led to something more if Brandy was not with Sam. Well, if she had never met Sam - she was in love with Sam from the moment she had met him. But, she liked Damian, as a friend of course, but it didn't mean she couldn't of been attracted to him if the situation or the circumstances had been different.
".. got myself in a terrible mess. I got beat up really bad by one of Maryann's lackeys. Almost died, and I was forced to take the blood of a vampire so now there is that to deal with.."
There was a lot more to that story, but she didn't want to keep Damian there all day. It would take hours just to tell him what had happened over the last 3 days. With a breath she stood up and stretched before she looked back at him again.
"I would date you, you know, if I wasn't with Sam and you weren't.. well.. in such a mess. I just wanted you to know that. Under different circumstances I think you and I would of made a great couple."
Brandy offered him a smile and shoved her hands into her pocket, nudging her head toward the general down-town area.
"You want to come with me? I'm going to get a haircut."

Damian couldn't help but look into Brandy's beautiful eyes while she talked him into doing more things. She was the best advice giver he ever knew. And that was a reason he called her, as well as, she was his only friend.
"Then tell her that. Tell her what happened, how it made you feel and be sure to let her know you still want her as friend and that you still love her. Even if it isn't for her, do it for yourself"
"I will Brandy. I'll do it for me and her. I don't want to know if she is sad, because that will make me worse but I'll let her know about Lafayette and the other things." He noticed her blush and he smiled up at her.
"Oh I uh... got myself in a terrible mess. I got beat up really bad by one of Maryann's lackeys. Almost died, and I was forced to take the blood of a vampire so now there is that to deal with.."
"Sorry my dear. Which one?" Damian wanted to know who hurt his only friend. "I am very sorry you had to do that. Who's blood?" He couldn't believe Brandy was now connected to a vampire.
"I would date you, you know, if I wasn't with Sam and you weren't.. well.. in such a mess. I just wanted you to know that. Under different circumstances I think you and I would of made a great couple."
"I know. I meant it as a friendly gesture. I know you love Sam a lot. I love you as a friend and a great one at that. I would never do anything to confuse you or hurt you." He loved her a lot, but he didn't know the full extent of that love.
"You want to come with me? I'm going to get a haircut."
"I would love to. I have nothing better to do. Plus I need something done to mine." Damian smiled up at her before he stood up and helped her up.

"I will Brandy. I'll do it for me and her. I don't want to know if she is sad, because that will make me worse but I'll let her know about Lafayette and the other things."
Brandy nodded, it was for the best. That way, it would be a weight off of his shoulders and he wouldn't have to worry about telling her anymore. Still, it was no wonder they were friends for so long - Damian was a great guy.
"Sorry my dear. Which one? I am very sorry you had to do that. Who's blood?"
"Well, I can't be angry with him. You will remember him from Dallas, the vampire that saved me from the 3 muggers. Jack actually. I don't know what he was doing in the area at that time, but if he hadn't of been there you wouldn't of been talking to me today."
Jack was the vampire who had showed up unexpectedly, he had been sent by the queen to protect Brandy as well. Brandy remembered Dallas, and she wondered if she had a horseshoe up her @ss or something with how much she ended up escaping harm.. or death, lately.
"I know. I meant it as a friendly gesture. I know you love Sam a lot. I love you as a friend and a great one at that. I would never do anything to confuse you or hurt you."
Brandy smiled softly at that, it was good to have a friend like Damian. But she did have an attraction to him, she really couldn't help it. She was only human, after all. She just knew that they would never happen, and she was fine with that. She could still be close to him, the way he had seemed to need her to be.
"I would love to. I have nothing better to do. Plus I need something done to mine."
Brandy laughed at that, ruffling his hair playfully with her free hand before she moved away from him so that he could walk beside her.
"Just a little trim will do you, I'm thinking of taking at least.. oh, 6 inches off. I need a total change, I'm kind of looking forward to it"

"Well, he seems to save your life a lot lately." Damian said with a tiny smile, just stating the facts. "As long as your still alive, it really doesn't matter who saves you." He smiled a very big smile. "I am just happy your alive and Sam probably agrees."
"Just a little trim will do you, I'm thinking of taking at least.. oh, 6 inches off. I need a total change, I'm kind of looking forward to it"
"6 inches. Thats a bunch." Damian thought that she would look very darling with short hair. "A trim sounds good. Maybe lunch after." Damian smiled brightly at her and couldn't help but to kiss her lightly on the check.
"Ready?" he asked standing. "We gonna walk?" He looked around for a car.

"Well, he seems to save your life a lot lately."
Brandy couldn't help but to laugh at that, he was right.. and it was strange that Brandy had even needed saving lately. But that was the way the world worked sometimes.
"As long as your still alive, it really doesn't matter who saves you. I am just happy your alive and Sam probably agrees."
"Oh, I don't know about that, Damian. Sam was pretty upset with me that I took Jack's blood. Now there is this blood bond thing going on and well.. I don't know quite how to explain it but Sam hasn't really been, himself."
Brandy didn't want to go into too many details when it came to her relationship with Sam. Sam would be upset if he found out that she talked to Damian at all about him, Sam was a very 'private' person it seemed.
"6 inches. Thats a bunch. A trim sounds good. Maybe lunch after."
Brandy blushed when he kissed her cheek again.
"It's a date"
She didn't really think about it before she said it.
"Ready? We gonna walk?"
Brandy nodded, lightly letting her hands rest by her sides. There was a hair salon that was close, and as they walked she seemed content in just being in Damian's company. He was a great guy and she liked him a lot.
When they got to the salon, she had held the door for him as a joke and both had slipped inside. The blond haired lady behind the counter had a grin on her face.
"What a lovely couple! Are you guys both getting a hair cut today?"
Brandy opened her lips to protest against the innocent misunderstanding but only shrugged, what harm did it do?
"I'm getting drastic haircut, I think he only wants a little trim. Do you have room?"
"Sure, just give us 10 minutes to finish up, we will be right with you"
Brandy nodded and took a spare seat, she was smirking slightly toward Damian.
"Sorry, I should of corrected her, but maybe now they will give us a couple's discount or something"

"I think that if Sam isn't happy that your alive, well, then I don't know what's wrong with him. Jack was lucky to save you, both times and well..I am sure grateful. And I think Sam should be, too." Damian brushed his hand on Brandy's cheek. "Be happy lovely girl." He vaguely heard Brandy say,"It's a date" He ignored it and got up and helped her up before began to walk.
Once he walked in to the salon, her heard the lady talk about them being a couple, and he couldn't help but blush. He wished that they were actually able to be a couple. And Brandy didn't deny a thing. He finally got back to reality and heard B.B.'s comment.
"Sorry, I should of corrected her, but maybe now they will give us a couple's discount or something"
"That's okay, darling," Damian wrapped his arm around Brandy's waist and whispered,"If we want the discount, we need to act out the part." Damian looked at the lady. "I'm paying for the lovely lady." Damian led her to the nearest chair and brought her magazines. "Darling." It took all his strength to not break into giggles.

"I think that if Sam isn't happy that your alive, well, then I don't know what's wrong with him. Jack was lucky to save you, both times and well..I am sure grateful. And I think Sam should be, too."
Brandy looked at Damian thoughtfully, it wasn't that Sam wasn't glad she was alive, of course he was - he just.. well, Brandy was pretty sure he was uncomfortable with Jack having any sort of bond with her.
Sam had been very.. distant, at least romantically and Brandy was feeling it.
"That's okay,darling,"
Brandy couldn't help but to giggle at Damian's words, he played the part of her boyfriend so gracefully it almost made her forget that he wasn't!
"If we want the discount, we need to act out the part."
Brandy tilted her head, a little confused - until he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close, she was blushing hard core - and that was something she just couldn't hide.
"I'm paying for the lovely lady."
Brandy went to protest, but Damian already was handing her magazines and calling her 'darling'. When he returned to her side she felt her whole body begin to tingle, and she was trying to think of anything but how good it felt to have his arm around her only moments before.
Wait, what was she doing? She had to clear her head, this wasn't right - she should be having these feelings for Sam, not for Damian. What was with her? Was she feeling from Damian what Sam was lacking lately?
A general want to be with her? She was looking at Damian then, and had parted her lips to say something but was distracted by her name being called. She nodded, standing up she passed Damian her magazine - her fingers briefly touching his as she did so.
"When you see me next, I'll be a whole new person"
With a smile she followed the hairdresser to her seat, the hair dresser looming over her had asked her how much she wanted taken off.
"A good 6 inches"
The hair dressed nodded, mentioning what she thought would be a good look for her. It was a good 15 minutes, but after it was done.. Brandy's hair was short, and she looked like a completely new person.
She almost didn't recognize herself in the mirror..
Almost.

Damian sat there watching Brandy read a magazine. Trying to envision her with short hair. She was pretty with long, but she would be pretty bald too. It's her heart that made Damian so happy to see her. She was the sweetest most helpful person she ever could meet.
Brandy was called up and a few minutes later Damian was called too. He got up and sat down and let the lady trim his hair. He was in the seat next to Brandy. "Sweetie, you are looking good. Though even bald to me you would still be the most beautiful girl I ever known," he winked at her.
"Yall make such a cute couple," the stylist doing his hair said.
"I agree a hundred percent." Brandy's stylist was cutting and cutting.
"Well thank you very much." Damian was threw in a minute and went to sit on the other side of Brandy and grabbed her hand a winked. He was gonna keep this up. If you can get a discount, then you better. He kissed her hand in a gently way, that seemed romantic. But wasn't really. He likes Brandy, but she was with Sam and there was no changing that. No matter how hard he could try.
[[OOC: Sorry it's so short..I am tired and having brain glitches...the others longer though...it should make up..]]

"Sweetie, you are looking good. Though even bald to me you would still be the most beautiful girl I ever known,"
"Bald? Oh, I don't think I could ever go bald. I like having hair"
Short and flirty, that was the way to go - Sam would be a little surprised, but she was sure that he would like it. With that thought in mind, Brandy didn't seem uncomfortable at all holding his hand and they did end up getting a discount - and Brandy gave enough of a tip for both of the hairdressers to be happy with.
Once they were out of the salon, Brandy returned her hands to her pocket and gave Damian a thoughtful smile.
"Thanks, for that. You know, for coming with me and playing along. I really hate to leave now, but I should be getting back to the bar. You.. planning on heading home? I could give you a ride"

"It's okay. I was happy to help. And I please help me home. I live in the hotel that's not far from Merlotte's. It's right before it actually." Damian smiled up to her and began to walk towards Brandy's car.
