"No thanks necessary. I think we both needed this, deserved this and if I can't spoil my favorite girl now and then... What's the point?"
Brandy smiled into the kiss, closing her eyes to enjoy it. Every kiss, like the first, she thought.. every kiss up until that moment had been just as special as the last.
"We both just deserve to be happy..."
The elevator doors had opened slowly but Brandy wasn't paying attention to the occupant's inside. Her eyes were only on Sam, and when they walked in she had to laugh..
.. not take advantage him? The moment those door's closed she had him up against the wall - and was kissing him tenderly.
Not take advantage of him, her, and their lips in an enclosed space? He was crazy.

Sam felt himself be pushed into the far wall of the elevator as soon as they were both inside and the door slid closed. Her lips were on his in a split second. There was something exciting, something so risque about getting amourous in an elevator. Hell, even Aerosmith wrote a song about it.
Sam responded to the kiss for a few moments, but pulled away. Giving her a 'naughty girl' sort of look. "We have reservations" Sam grinned, "and as much as I'd love to continue this. We're almost at the right floor." Sam brushed Brandy's hair affectionately. "Put this on hold till later" he flashed her another grin, one full of promise.

He kissed her back, which Brandy expected.. and oh, did his lips taste so good. But she knew as well as he did, that this wasn't going to be able to go as far as Brandy had wanted...
"We have reservations"
"Party pooper.."
She was grinning, her slender digits against his chest that was annoyingly protected by 2 layers of clothing.
"and as much as I'd love to continue this. We're almost at the right floor."
The door binged and slid open, and Brandy cursed the elevator under her breath. If she had so wanted, she could of just stopped the elevator on her own...
"Put this on hold till later"
Brandy reached for his arm again, giggling as she did so...
"... in the elevator?"

Sam gave her a mischevious smile. "Maybe...we'll see won't we." Sam teased Brandy a little. First things first was getting some food and just relaxing in one anothers company. "Our table awaits" Sam held out his arm for Brandy again. A smile on his face as he gazed over her. He was such a slob by comparison.
Sam found his free hand smoothing over his stubbly beard and he pondered and looked back to Brandy. "You think I should shave this off?"

They had a lot of eyes on them that evening as they sat down at their table. Vampires, humans, and potentially other creatures casually caught their table and all Brandy did was smile. The funny thing about the Silent Short Hotel... was it's reputation.
"You think I should shave this off?"
"Don't you dare."
Her voice was serious, even if her eyes were playful. The truth was, Brandy loved his stubble.. the way it tickled her when he kissed her and the way it tickled... other areas when they were together in bed....
A waiter had come by, he had a bottle of wine in his hands and without even asking he had began to pour Brandy and Sam each a tall glass. Brandy looked at Sam, quirking her eyebrow, but the waiter had slipped them a card when he had finished.
"What's this?"
Brandy picked up the card, which was a card for the hotel and turned it over.. all that was there were the numbers 406...
Brandy turned to the waiter curiously with a tilt of her head, the waiter pointed toward a young couple. One was an obvious older vampire and the woman, looked like she came right out of a 'Sweet Georgia Peach' magazine.
"Compliments of Mr and Mrs Curel. They are well known in this hotel for their swinger's parties and would like both you and your lovely gentleman to attend"
Brandy's eyes widened and she turned back to Sam, her head down. Swingers parties? This was going to be an interesting night...

Sam smiled happily, he didn't want to shave it off either. But he had to ask. "Good, I wasn't overly keen on the idea. Was just wondering out loud."
No sooner had they sat at there reserved table than a waiter had made a beeline for the couple. He began pouring red wine into there glasses. Sam looked bewildered, "I didn't..." He was cut off as Brandy also questioned the waiter.
"Compliments of Mr and Mrs Curel. They are well known in this hotel for their swinger's parties and would like both you and your lovely gentleman to attend"
The waiter pointed over to a couple nearby. Sam's eyes widened at the idea of it all. "Swingers?" Sam looked up at the waiter with a disbelieving tone.
"Yes sir." was all he got back in reply.
"Um, could you pass on a thanks but no thanks from us please." Sam looked almost insulted, but had a smile at the incredulity of the suggestion. "I like to keep my good lady to myself." Sam reached out his hand for Brandy's. "But please also thank them for the wine, it's very much appreciated."

"Um, could you pass on a thanks but no thanks from us please."
Brandy had to think about it for a moment, she hadn't really caught on to what they were asking.. oh.. wait a minute...
"I like to keep my good lady to myself."
Brandy was beat red now, finally realizing what the 'swingers party' was. She was trying to contain herself, just staring at the red wine in the glass as Sam reached for her hand.
"But please also thank them for the wine, it's very much appreciated."
The waiter nodded, leaving them two menus and as he left the table, Brandy was trying hard not to laugh. She couldn't even imagine, never mind...
"I guess we can't take for granted where we are"
Brandy was smirking at him, this was no little Bon Temps... this was the big city.. with big city "action".
"Though, I guess.. maybe we should be flattered?"

"I guess we can't take for granted where we are"
Sam smiled, stifling a small laugh. "Well, considering how crazy the little town of Bon Temps was there for a while. Who know's what goes on behind there closed doors." that was enough to unstifle the laughter. It was a wholly unpleasant thought, but Sam couldn't help but laugh.
"Though, I guess.. maybe we should be flattered?"
Sam looked over at Brandy, his laughter slowly stopping. A half-smile remained. "I guess so. Though I mean it, I'm not willing to share you with anyone. No matter how much they flatter us."
Sam picked up the menu and looked over it his lip curling slightly as his eyes scanned the synthetic blood lists. Tru Blood was the synthetic of choice, but more and more companies were releasing there own brands. He looked over the starters, meals and desserts. There was so much to choose from he couldn't make up his mind. "I am stumped."

"Well, considering how crazy the little town of Bon Temps was there for a while. Who know's what goes on behind there closed doors."
Brandy laughed when he did, trying to hide her face behind the rather.. extensive menu.
"I guess so. Though I mean it, I'm not willing to share you with anyone. No matter how much they flatter us."
At this, Brandy had peeked over her menu at him and looked at him seriously.
"And you think I would ever share you? I wanted to scratch Haylee's eyes out and she wasn't even herself at the time."
Yep, it was true, Brandy would of went all out on Haylee for even coming onto Sam - the only one that was allowed to "wear Sam like a scrunchy" was her!
"I am stumped."
As if on cue, the waiter had returned and Brandy already handed her menu back to the waiter.
"I'll have the steak special, with my steak medium rare - mashed potatoes, gravy, and sweet peas. For starters I would like the garlic bread sticks and for dessert, strawberry shortcake with extra whipped cream"
She turned to Sam with a coy smile, figuring he would just say 'the same as her' because he really couldn't make up his mind.

"And you think I would ever share you? I wanted to scratch Haylee's eyes out and she wasn't even herself at the time."
Sam gave Brandy a knowing look. He knew how he reacted with Derek, Jack and Damian. He nodded, "Poor girl, she's cut up about not knowing what happened to her and I just don't have the heart to tell her. Kid don't deserve all that." He truly did feel so sorry for Haylee, he hated lying...to anyone. But Haylee reminded him so much of Sookie when he first met her. Sweet, Kind, Considerate. He lucked out hiring her.
"I'll have the steak special, with my steak medium rare - mashed potatoes, gravy, and sweet peas. For starters I would like the garlic bread sticks and for dessert, strawberry shortcake with extra whipped cream"
Sam almost drooled at the sound of it. He shrugged and looked up at the waiter. "Sounds good, I'll have the same only make the steak medium."
The waiter nodded and made his way to the kitchen to put the order in. Sam watched him leave and turned his attention back to Brandy. "Now this was one of my better ideas for sure." he looked at her with loving eyes. He couldn't be more happy, if he tried.

"Poor girl, she's cut up about not knowing what happened to her and I just don't have the heart to tell her. Kid don't deserve all that."
Brandy sighed as she looked at him, tilting her head ever so slightly. Sam really was a good soul, and he had a kind heart. Not for a moment did she regret anything they had been through (well, except the Damian kiss), and she reached over the table to hold his hand in her's gently.
She had waited for waiter to leave before she lightly ran her fingertips through his hair and offered him a warm, sincere smile.
"Now this was one of my better ideas for sure."
"Coming here, escaping it all.. I would say it definitely one of your best. Did you have anything else planned, or are we just having wild sex for two days?"

"Coming here, escaping it all.. I would say it definitely one of your best. Did you have anything else planned, or are we just having wild sex for two days?"
Sam arched an eyebrow. Brandy had completely stumped him. He fidgeted a little as he thought about it. "You know...." he paused with a smile, "I never planned that far ahead. We can do whatever you want to do. I don't mind."
Sam squeezed her hand gently. Life could not get any better than it was right now. His mind not even wandering towards the bar. It was in safe hands with Terry, though Terry could only keep it open for one day and not even a full working day. But he did say he'd keep an eye on the contractors, make sure they weren't slouching on the job.

"I never planned that far ahead. We can do whatever you want to do. I don't mind."
Well, buying plane tickets - reserving a hotel room, calling ahead so that they dressed it up and making dinner reservations was actually very impressive. Usually men, in general, did not think further ahead than the plane tickets.
Brandy was sitting there, contemplating what they could do as she sipped her red wine, when the waiter came back with a basket of bread sticks.
"Dallas is a pretty big city Sam, much bigger than Bon Temps... we should go sight seeing or something. See if there is like, an amusement park - I haven't been on a roller coaster in years!"

Sam smiled at Brandy's enthusiasm. Sometimes she was just like a big kid, enjoying to just play and have fun. Something Sam wasn't overly familiar with, not in the same sense as dance games and fairgrounds. "I haven't been to a fairground in years, like since I was about 8." Sam said with a hint of sadness. His childhood after puberty was spent on the run, something no kid should ever have to do.
He put on a brave smile and nodded. "Roller Coaster it is. Sounds like fun. We can hire a car and head out in the morning."

Brandy was munching on bread sticks, contemplating the words that Sam had spoken. Not about the car picking them up in the morning, but about his lack of childhood..
There was only one thing Brandy could think of, which would help Sam in his childhood memories and that was - -
"... we need to have a child..."
Brandy knew Sam's mouth was going to drop, or he was going to act really nervous right after those words left her mouth. As if on cue the big meal had come and it seemed like an eternity before everything was set in front of them.
Children were the last thing on Sam's mind, she knew this and that was the reason she had some explaining to do - you couldn't just drop that kind of bombshell on your guy and not expect to elaborate!
"... I think, besides the fact that the two of us would make great parents, that you could devote yourself to our son or daughter to give them the kind of child hood we never got to have."
She paused a moment, reaching for her utensils to cut into the steak slowly before she slipped the meat in her mouth and chewed delicately.
