Jason opened the door to the bar and made his way over to his usual table with his best buddy Hoyt. 'Cept Hoyt wasn't there and his table was occupado. Jason looked around for an open spot and realized that Merlotte's was jumpin'. He finally found a spot that was facing the door so he could see everybody comin' and goin'. He was in a mood tonight and the only thing he could figure that would snap him out was a cold beer and a nice rack...of pool. (not every thought in his head was about sex) He tried to flag one of the waitresses but they seemed a mite busy. Sam looked up from the bar at that moment. He noticed Jason and threw him a hand that indicated Jason would get at least half of what he wanted that evening. The pool table was full, his beer was not here, Jason couldn't tell if Sookie was here he couldn't tell and for some reason that just really ticked him off. Jason took off his hat and rubbed his beard. "Man I need a shave and a good lay...maybe I could get both at the same time" he mused. For years Jason wondered why Sam never put any peanuts on the table. Maybe Sam thought it was a little mainstream but at the moment Jason was needed a quick hunger fix and resigned himself to having to get up. Suddenly the beer he had wanted showed up in front of him. "Nice, maybe I will just wait for those peanuts a little 'while longer."

Brandy wasn't here to pick up guys, she wasn't even here to meet up with anyone. She was here for some food and maybe a couple of cocktails. Brandy didn't like the taste of beer, quite frankly she didn't know why anybody would drink the stuff.
When she walked in, the first thing she noticed was how busy the place was. In fact, it was so busy that she could not see an empty table anywhere. Well, this was embarrassing - and now she was forced to stand against the wall looking like a loser until someone gave up a seat.
At least this wasn't like the vampire bar, at least here it didn't look like the whole crowd wanted to eat her. She would be patient, for now, besides - the pool table looked like it would soon be free anyway.

As Jason slugged back his brewsky, he noticed a hot young thing strut into the bar. "Daaaaannngg!" This girl was not from his shoddy neck of the woods that was ok by him. That gave him plenty of opportunity to try and get to know her with out automatically getting slapped in the face because he forgot to call a girl back or left her sleeping while he snuck out in the early mornin' or for sleepin with their sister...Jason shook his head. Now was really not the time for thinking of things like that. Tonight he needed to find his stride and get back on the horse. He stood up and waved at the girl. She would be standing there for awhile if no one was a gentleman and offered her a seat. Sh*t maybe his night was looking up after all.

Caramel eyes scanned the room, merely looking for some sort of sign that a table was opening soon. It was awkward, at least for her, and she shifted uncomfortably in her spot until she saw a (quite cute) blond guy stand up and wave at her. Wait, was he waving at her? She looked around to be sure there was nobody around her because she would look like a bigger fool if there was.
Nope. Nobody. There were many different things going on in her mind as she walked over to him. Was he offering her a seat? Was he trying to pick her up? What the hell was she doing approaching a complete stranger anyway? Did he think she was someone wasn't?
Finally, when she arrived, she stood there awkwardly (once again, was this habit?) and managed a smile toward him.
"Um.. hey.. you were waving at me right? If so, that is great because I was seriously nervous over there by myself. If not uh.. are you planning on freeing up this table soon?"
Wow, this was kind of strange, she never usually was this nervous around someone. She decided it was just because she was hungry, yeah that had to be it - it had absolutely nothing to do with his gorgeous blue eyes in the slightest...

Jason's excitement picked up as he watch the young woman approach.
"Um.. hey.. you were waving at me right? If so, that is great because I was seriously nervous over there by myself. If not uh.. are you planning on freeing up this table soon?"
He felt just like a kid at christmas time, a fat kid in a candy store, a, a aw sh*t you know. This girl was even prettier up close and he couldn't help but give her his patented lopsided grin. "Aw, shucks, you that eager for me to leave? I promise I don't bite, not even a little. As for you standing all by your lonesome against the wall, why I couldn't have that. What kind of southern hospitality would that be?" He made a gesture towards the booth. "Sit have a drink on me. We will talk like we have known each other for years and when that gets too boring for you, I'll go wrestle the pool table away from the hoodlums over there." Jason nodded to Andy Bellfleur and Bud, the local law men of Bon Temps. "What will your drink be?" He smiled again and secretly hoped she wouldn't leave.

. "Aw, shucks, you that eager for me to leave? I promise I don't bite, not even a little. As for you standing all by your lonesome against the wall, why I couldn't have that. What kind of southern hospitality would that be?"
"Huh? Oh, not at all. In fact, I am grateful you rescued me from social suicide over there. It is my first time here and all, so it can be extremely awkward with everyone looking at you."
They seemed to do that a lot in this town, from what Brandy saw. Stare. Half the time they stared at her because she was dark, and the other half they were probably trying to figure out if she was human or not. For the most part, she was. This guy, whoever he was, certainly was charming and made Brandy feel comfortable enough to take a seat.
"Sit have a drink on me. We will talk like we have known each other for years and when that gets too boring for you, I'll go wrestle the pool table away from the hoodlums over there."
"You worry too much, I came this far didn't I? I would rather sit with you and get some food in my tummy, I haven't eaten in almost a day. Though, I would fancy a game of pool later on if your up for it."
When he asked her if she wanted a drink, she looked over toward the bar and scanned over the bottles. She wanted something they could make easily, and not something too exotic.
"How about a strawberry margarita? And seeing your being so nice, I might as well introduce myself because we will be sharing a table and all'. I'm BB."
This might be interesting after all.

Jason took a seat and grinned at his new companion. "BB, huh, well that is a mite unusual but I guess not too strange for around here. Being this is the back water part of the state." He couldn't help him self as he continued to stare at her with a dumb look. "Here I am goin on about southern hospitality and I haven't even introduced myself. The names Jason but seein as we are such good friends, it would seem strange to shake your hand." He tried to flag down a waitress or someone who looked like they would help but in those brief moments he was out of it looking at BB it appeared to have gotten even busier if that was possible. Dang, he was going to have to get up and place the orders at the bar for sure. "Sorry to have to do this but it looks like we are going to have to man this on our own. You want a burger Lafayette?"

"BB, huh, well that is a mite unusual but I guess not too strange for around here. Being this is the back water part of the state."
Brandy coughed nervously, she thought her 'given' name was more unusual.
"..not as unusual as my birth name. My parents called me Brandy, which might seem normal enough except my last name is Berry. Brandy Berry. Not exactly the best sounding' name in my opinion so I prefer to just be called BB."
Her parents hated it when people called her BB, but that was the only name she ever gave anyone. It was probably because Brandy, in some ways, despise her parents and being called BB was just another way to anger them.
"Here I am goin on about southern hospitality and I haven't even introduced myself. The names Jason but seein as we are such good friends, it would seem strange to shake your hand."
"Good friends? My, you move fast. You.. look like a Jason. But you have the hospitality part down pact, I might add."
After all, nobody else offered up a seat.
"Sorry to have to do this but it looks like we are going to have to man this on our own. You want a burger Lafayette?"
She didn't know what that was, but it sounded good.
"Sure, why not? It would be heavenly to have the cook throw on some onion rings as well, and thanks"

"Good friends? My, you move fast. You.. look like a Jason. But you have the hospitality part down pact, I might add."
Jason smiled sheepishly, "Heck yeah we're good friends! I wouldn't have asked you to sit with me if we weren't! Thank you for noticing how polite I can be!" He stood up to move to the bar.
"Onion rings, shoo girl, right after my own heart! Trust me a burger Lafayette with a side of Onion rings will send you to heaven and back...although after eatin those onion rings I hope you weren't planning on kissin' anybody!" Jason waggled his eyebrows at her just because he felt the teasing part of his flirtation coming to light. Before she could say another word Jason strutted off to the bar.
"Sh*t Sam!" Jason exclaimed as he elbowed his way through the unusually large crowd. "What the hell's going on tonight? It's packed tighter than a can of sardines!" Sam just looked up at Jason and grinned. Sam loved/needed the business and looked like the cat that swallowed the canary. Jason shouted "I just need 2 orders of onion rings, 2 burgers Lafayette, a strawberry margarita and another 'weiser when you get a minute."
Jason made his way back to the table with the drinks in hand a promise that the food would be up soon. Jason sat down and slid the drink to BB. "Alright girl, here's the skinny. We each got 3 questions to ask the other person and nothing is too personal. Whatever you ask, the other person has to answer and none of this we hardly know each other mumbo jumbo. We know enough about each other to have a little fun!" Jason winked at BB over his beer and took a swig. He was all about having fun with no shame and needed someone who could keep up with him. "Well what do ya say?"

"Heck yeah we're good friends! I wouldn't have asked you to sit with me if we weren't! Thank you for noticing how polite I can be!"
Brandy chuckled to herself, he sure was enthusiastic wasn't he? Nothing like a good old southern boy' to warm your heart. He sure knew how to make a girl feel special.
"Onion rings, shoo girl, right after my own heart! Trust me a burger Lafayette with a side of Onion rings will send you to heaven and back...although after eatin those onion rings I hope you weren't planning on kissin' anybody!"
At that, Brandy couldn't help but to turn red (though with her complexion it was hard to tell). She wasn't planning on kissing anybody - she wasn't that type of girl. In fact, she hadn't even had a boyfriend! Boy was that embarrassing. She watched him leave, quirking her eyebrow as she thought about what a nice ass he had.
Whoops, she shouldn't be thinking like that. Well, she wasn't married - there was no harm in looking. She tried to think of something to talk about when he came back with the drinks, and apparently had his own idea of how to keep the night going.
"Alright girl, here's the skinny. We each got 3 questions to ask the other person and nothing is too personal. Whatever you ask, the other person has to answer and none of this we hardly know each other mumbo jumbo. We know enough about each other to have a little fun!"
At this, Brandy tilted her head intrigued. Apparently knowing someone's name was enough to ask personal questions. While Brandy was no fool (she knew what such questions could lead to), she was no timid creature herself. Casually she took a sip of her drink, but didn't say anything right away.
"Well what do ya say?"
Brandy looked up at him, a cheeky grin on her face.
"I would say you have yourself a deal Mr.Jason. But be careful what you ask, I am still a virgin after all"
She probably answered one of his questions right there, darn southern boys.

Sam watched as Jason worked his charm on yet another unsuspecting female. He'd never seen her around before, new to town and hopefully he'd be able to at least welcome her to Bon Temps at some point during the night. He smiled and shook his head in good humour as he took Jason's order and passed the burger orders through to the kitchen.
Sam took another quick glance over at Jason's female companion for the night. She certainly didn't look like Jason's usual type. He chastised himself for such a stupid thought. She was female, very pretty that's all Jason needed to rev his engine. He hoped she knew what she was letting herself in for.

Cristina walked into Merlotte's Bar. She looked around the room. She walked over to a empty table and set down. She crossed her long beautiful legs. She looked around the room once more. Then she saw a man talking to some human women. She sighed wishing that someone would talk to her. She lean back a little and ran her fingers long her chest. She wished a man would touch her there. She felt her body feel some pleasure. She started to bite her bottom lip. She want more pleasure from a male. But she wasn't getting it from anyone. She looked at the same man that she did before. She couldn't get her mind off him. He was nice looking and human. But she knew a human would never want to be with her or around her.

"Alright BB, question number one..." Jason looked up and saw another new girl that definitely wasn't from the neighborhood. She was breathtakingly beautiful and if she had spoken his heart would break into pieces. Jason remembered vaguely Sookie telling him the first time she knew she loved Bill and it had sounded something like that...holy sh*t, was this chick a vampire?
Never being able to multi task would make juggling the two women impossible so he decide to wait out the ride with BB before talking to the vamp.
"BB, have you ever made love with a vampire? That is your question, choose your words wisely."
Even as he was asking he couldn't help from looking up at the vamp. He was going to half to talk to Sookie and see if there was any kind of vamp repellent.

Cristina bent down to fix her shoes. Her top move down showing more skin. She started to feel a little out of place here. She almost wanted to get up and leave. But someing about that man made her want to stay. She could explain it. She never had feelings like this before. Not to a human. But these feelings where more stonger then anything. She wonder if he would ever come over to her.
But he was with a human. Her blue eyes looked over at him again. She will have to asked Bill why she was so drawn to this human man. She this was some feeling she never had with other vampire. But she qiuckly looked away when he looked at her the frist time. But her feelings where screaming out for him.

Sam looked upwards as he heard the door to the bar open and watched along with the majority of the other male patrons in awe at this stunning blonde beauty who strode into the place like she owned it. His shifter instincts kicked in almost immediately and his back was up an in instant. Vampire he seethed internally. More and more Vampires were coming to Merlotte's lately. He couldn't fathom why but despite his prejudices against the walking dead, he gave them all a chance to prove themselves.
He got the drinks for Jason and his date and he started to hand them over the counter. He hoped his female companion didn't notice the lustful looks he was giving the blonde Vampire. He wanted to smack him upside the head for being such a fool. Here he had a pretty and seemingly smart woman in front of him, and his mind was wandering to the Vampire. I'm sure many wouldn't have blamed him, she looked like she could grace the cover of fashion magazines.
"Enjoy your drinks." Sam said trying to be subtle, and failing. He gave the girl next to Jason a smile. He wanted to warn her off Sookies older brother, but it really wasn't any of his business. He didn't know this girl and if she chose to hook up with the walking hormone known as Jason Stackhouse, then that was entirely her own choice.
