Rose smiled at Sookie's explanation of her boss, of course she wasn't going to let on to Rose if he was different or not. 'She's quiet loyal, what a nice quality.' She knew if she could get closer to him she would be able to figure it out, but she didn't think Sam would be too comfortable with that. Her curiosity was just getting the better of her tonight.
As Sookie handed Rose her botlle she leaned in and asked, "What kinda language was she speaking?"
Rose had to think about it for a moment, she wasn't used to people questioning her, and of course she didn't want to appear ignorant in front of a human. The language wasn't that dissimilar to her makers,, and then she realised what the young girl was speaking.
"It's one of the Scandinavian languages, Norwegian I think." Rose took a sip from her Tru Blood and turned her attention back to the bar. Something about this place seemed to attract supernaturals, though she just didn't know what.

Sookie listened to Rose's description of what language was being spoken. "Wow, that's pretty odd." She said to Rose as she thought about Eric, and his language. How she once heard him say something that sounded similar, but to someone who only spoke one language it was hard to discern what was what. "Thanks Rose!" She graciously spoke as she heard the girl speak up an order. Walking over in front of her, she took note. "Yeah, I sure can. Everything on it. Can do!" She smiled thinking still of what kind of conversation just took place. Was it recon for something? Why would she speak another language and what in gods name was she doing in Bon Temps, a french origin area. "Anything else ya'd like?" Sookie asked with her pen in hand?

Her stomach growled again as she contemplated what Sookie said, asking if she wanted more then just the burger. "Hmm, a big piece of chocolate cake? Chocolate cake always makes things better when you are ticked off at a guy friend." Deja said with a but of humor. "And perhaps more sweet tea to drink."
She knew that she couldn't stay mad or even upset at Eyolf for very long, and by the end of the night they would be all chummy again. That is if he didn't do something stupid. In another few minutes she would turn her phone back on and tell Eyolf how to get here. It seemed that this small town place had a few secrets it was trying to keep. And for such a small town, there were sure strange people. The scent she was picking up were familiar to her and yet held a strangeness to it she was not used to.

Sookie had her pen in hand. "Chocolate cake! Sure can do!" She replied with a smile. Deja was a beautiful girl, who had something special about her that Sookie just could not pinpoint. It was almost the same kind of thought block she got from Sam. Was Deja a shifter? And who was this guy friend? Was it a vampire since she was so keen to learn if vampires were welcome at Merlotte's. And the language spoken, who was she talkin too? "When I'm mad at a guy friend," she began, though she was never really in any relationships to even get mad "I like to have ice cream too. Anything chocolate and fat really helps!" She smiled as she placed the order on the spin thing in the kitchen.

A smile stayed on her lips as Sookie took her order. "Interesting girl. A little bubbly though." Deja thought to herself as she watched Sookie go about her business. "But not in a bad way, just perky."
Deja watched the other people in the bar as well. She liked watching people and often learned a lot about someone just by watching them. She found people to be a curious creature, and it always fascinated her how they changed when drinking alcohol, or if a guy was around a pretty woman. "Yea, they always change around women." Deja thought again and frowned a little bit. Maybe after she ate, she would head out to some place where she could run in animal form, and maybe try a new animal if she saw one.
(ooc note: Anything that is white and italics would be a thought Sookie could pick up on if she wanted to.)

Sookie filled up a sweet tea for Deja as she picked up on a thought. Seemed that Deja thought Sookie was bubbly, but in a good kind of way. Sookie had heard this before and would continue to hear it, she was just naturally a friendly type of gal. Then Deja got to thinking bout the drunks, which Sookie completely and totally agreed. "Here's ya tea. Ill go get your cake now sweetie!" Sookie replied as she turned to get the cake in the back.
After cutting a piece she came back around to the bar. "Here ya go Deja, a nice big piece of chocolate pie to fix you right up from them guy problems! If ya need ta talk, you can always let it out on the local barmaid!" Sook said with a bit of a smile as she gathered the empty dishes around the bar.
