Jason looked at the guy. "Your name is Kyle right? I think you may know my sister Sookie? Any way, I don't see the problem with me at least trying to get to know those girls a little better."
He to a swig of his beer and cocked an eyebrow. "Why you know somethin' I don't?"
((Sorry, I am on little brain fuel))

Kyke sighed as Jason didn't detect the not so subtle meaning under his earlier words. He gave the man a serious look. "At least one of them is a vampire. And she's...not someone to be taken lightly. Don't get me wrong, she's been dead on when I've been with her...but I'm not liable to sleep with her. I'm not saying they will hurt you, just saying to be careful." He knew Pam...probably...wouldn't hurt poor naive Jason Stackhouse, but he didn't know squat about her friend.

Sue's gaze wandered around the bar. Her attention settled on two men nearby speaking about vampires. It was a little warning, and Sue's hearing was anciently vampire, she could hear everything they said, but she could also hear everything everyone else at the bar said. Someone talked about a sale at Macy's, someone mentioned she hated ketchup and blah blah blah. Even though she heard one of the boys say watch out or something like that, she flushed the sounds out, it was terribly annoying at times.
She looked over at the pool table. "How does one play pool?" she asked, a little laugh building up. Honestly, she stopped learning how to do human sports long ago. First people liked to run, then everyone turned to different sports and activities, she only remembered how to play Rugby, primarily because anyone that she played with who ridiculed her for being a woman ended up in the infirmary.
Never-the-less, she stood up and swiftly made her way over to the table, lifting the 8 ball to examine it. It was her favorite because it was pure black. Trying to figure it out, she tossed it at one of the pouches, which broke one of the leather threads that held the 8 ball inside it and it crashed to the floor. With a quizical look on her face, she picked it up from the ground and flashed a threatening set of fangs at a girl who laughed at her from one of the booths. Quickly, she shut up and looked at the ground.

Pam laughed Her oldest friend was still as frightening as when they first met and now sometimes didn't realize her own strength. This could mean lots of fun or lots of trouble, depending on the situation.
Pam bent over and pulled the nail that had contained the former leather piece and reattached the string. The hole would be a little smaller but it would still work. "Alright my Egyptian friend, this is how it works. We rack the balls like so..." Her vampire speed made it look like half a second. "Then some one breaks. I will do the honors to demonstrate."
The balls scattered perfectly across the table and a solid went in. "Since I hit in a ball, I am solids and you are stripes. We take turns seeing how many balls we can get in and who ever makes the 8 ball in first, after hitting in all your other balls of course. There are many different rules depending on the type of pool you are playing but that gets boring to me."
Pam handed Sekhmet a cue stick. "You are up but dearest Sekhmet try not to break the table. I would hate to owe the shifter who owns this bar a favor." Pam winked at Sekhmet..

Jason saw the two vampires get up and move over to the pool table and smiled. He clapped Kyle on the back. "I think I will take my chances man. Thanks for the warning."
He picked up his beer and headed to the table. "Hey there ladies. Did you like the True Blood I sent you?" He put on his lopsided grin that melted hearts like butter. He stopped to think if this would then work on the vamps because technically they didn't have working hearts...ugh he hurt his head thinking again.
"Mind if I join your game?"

Kyle shook his head as Jason heard, but didn't really heed his warning. He just hoped that his naivete was endearing to the vampire women - he knew, mostly, that Pam wouldn't touch him, in a bad way, but he knew nothing of her friend. Maybe she would follow the rules, maybe not. In the case of the nameless vamprie wanting to feast on Jason he hoped that Jason's charm would save him.

"Why do humans play games like this, I never understood that," she said, borderlining on pouting. Sometimes, a vampire just can't keep up in this world. Pam took the lead and began to rack the balls, getting things all ready. It was a good thing Pam broke it, because Sue would have done things a bit differently, more involving breaking the whole pool table. Never let a vampire try to 'guess' at a game, they don't realize just how strong they are sometimes.
Still, owing a shifter a favor - a shifter owned this bar?! If this was a shifter bar, then why the hell are they here?! Just then, a very good looking young man walked up, nothing supernatural about him, he was just human, but he looked amazing. Thank the underworld that he kept her from shooting, she wanted to see just one more time how it went. "Oh, yes, my dear, it was lovely, thank you," she said, placing down her cue stick to lean on it slightly, but not enough to snap it.
"As a thank you, won't you play with us?" she asked, any pun was intended. "I'm afraid Pam here is teaching me how to play this game, it's a bit confusing though," she admitted, holding the cue stick out to him with batting eyelashes. He obviously knew that they were vampires, brave.

So Jason was going to join in the game after all. Pam wasn't certain if Sekhmet would like Mr. Stackhouse but since she hadn't try to poke out an eyeball, Pam felt that Jason would be safe for now.
"We are delighted that you would want to join our company. Every time I come to see Sookie the reception around here is so cold. I always wondered if Bill was "doing" more than than he let on." From what she had heard, Sookie's brother wasn't that bright so the subtlety of the comment would probably only be caught by her oldest friend.
"Yes please show us the ways of this game. We don't often get the pleasure of human games, what with business to run, people to eat..." Pam grinned "Only kidding about that last one. What was your name Sweetling?" Well she had only been half kidding.

Jason's eyebrows rose when he heard his sister's name mentioned. "I didn't know you knew Sookie. She is my sister, I am Jason Stackhouse." They were both beautiful and he didn't know which one to try first! Luckily the brunette handed him her stick and asked for his help to demonstrate the game.
"Why I would be honored! I am sorry but I don't know your names. I hate for us to not be acquainted all night long."

The statement about eating people actually caused Sue to laugh, it was a humorous thought, but really, vampires did not need the skin and intestines and such, not their style. In truth, vampires never ate, they could only drink and drain. So this was the famous Jason. Curiosity had gotten the better of her. While some people would say 'nice to meet you' or something along those lines, Sue had never been one to do so.
Still, his name did merit her response with her own name. "I am Sue and this is my dear friend, Pam. Interesting how our lifeline status has not scared you away," she said, commenting on the fact that both her and Pam were practically dead. "Quite a brave one you are, and to take us on at a human game," she smiled, stepping aside so he could go first. Pam was right, he did look scrumptious.

Pam liked where this was going. If Sue was interested in Jason they could definitely get a real party going...especially if Pam could glamor Jason into having a little more fun than he had planned. "Yes Jason, it is brave of you...but you aren't one to shy away from danger are you?" Pam purred at him. "I heard what you did for your sister in Dallas. I can't believe you would risk yourself for her."
Pam sat on the pool table slightly and crossed her legs. "That is just so incredibly sexy. It means that you are very loyal." Pam was fiercely loyal to her maker and so to find someone else with that quality was delicious. Especially since that man was the main reason she was here.
"Tell me Jason, do you have any hidey holes for a vampire to stay? Just in case you decide you want to have someone sleep over?" Pam hopped off the table and made her way around towards him. "I think you would be a divine sleeping partner."

"Tell me Jason, do you have any hidey holes for a vampire to stay? Just in case you decide you want to have someone sleep over? I think you would be a divine sleeping partner."
Jason nearly swallowed his tongue. "Uh, well, um...you see...shxt, I don't think I ever thought about having a vampire sleep over...." He saw Pam's eyebrow raise. "Not that I wouldn't want to of course, I just never had the opportunity to invite one over...um were you wantin' to stay the night?"
Jason was sweatin' bullets. Never in a million years did he ever have the desire to have a vampire sleep over at his house...now however he couldn't really refuse to leave them to meet the sun if they had no place to go.

Pam, as usual, made her advances and usually it frightened humans, how delightful. It seemed by Jason's reaction that she had not lost her touch and Sue just smiled and went back to the game, trying to figure everything out. How the hell was this game played and what did the winner receive? Rewards these days were highly outdated, it just seemed like everyone was lacking on how to properly reward the winner of anything. What a pity.
"Pam, don't frighten the young man," Sue said, sipping on her True Blood. She did not want this one to be scared off, not just yet at least. "Come now, we can think of sleeping arrangements later. For now, I wish to know more about you," she said, running her finger on the bottom of his chin, her nails gently grazing his skin.

Pam smiled. "Fine, I will play nice Sekhmet. Come Jason, stay a minute and help Sekhmet play this game otherwise she will throw this table across the room."
She waltz over to the young man and ran a hand through his hair. "You smell like Sookie and something else...I can't quite put my finger on it but when I do it will be an interesting exploration that is for sure."
The blonde vampire smiled and her fangs were partially extended. "I am going to the bar, It seems I am going to need some more True Blood if I am going to make it through the evening. Can I get anything for anyone?"

Jason could feel all his parts come to attention as Pam ran her fingers through his hair. "Um, ah, I would love another beer. Thanks." This one was a dangerous type and if Jason didn't watch his step she would have him over a barrel.
He looked up at the brunette. "Sue, did you want something? My treat...um I meant another bottle would be my treat. You too Pam, just tell Lafayette to charge me." Maybe that Kyle guy had been right. Jason needed to start thinking with his brain more and less with...other things.
