As Vaughn entered the bar in Bon Temps, he couldn't help but grin. This was the place where he reunited with his sisters. It would always have a soft spot in his heart. Not only that but the owner of the bar was a shifter as well and that really intrigued him.
He saddled up to the bar and took a hand full of nuts that were lying out. He flagged the bartender. "Makers on the rocks with a hint of coke." Tonight he would relax and enjoy the company of the town. Soon he would be in Dallas, doing Eric's dirty work.

Vivian went to the bar and grill, it seemed to become a habit of hers to come to this place. Probably because it was the place where the interesting stuff happens. Her senses were bubbling with the excitement in the area; it excited her which was rare but she enjoyed every minute of it. She went to a booth when the waitress came to her she already knew what she wanted. "A virgin margarita please" she ordered.

Sarah May was new to this whole Louisiana scene. She had been to Merlotte's once or twice but still didn't know exactly what it was that made her come back. The food was only decent, the service sucked and it had none of the appeal of Fangtasia. It wasn't much of anything, but something about it made her feel so comfortable. Maybe it was the southern comfort she was accustomed to, she wasn't sure. But all she knew is that it seemed like a good place to sit down and forget about her problems for a little while.
She walked across the floor, hearing her tiny pink pumps clicking against the floor. She walked up to the bar and took a seat, smoothing her floral skirt and laying her denim jacket on the back of the chair. She looked over to the bartender and ordered a Bellini.

Demitrius arrived at Merlotte's at a vastly different time than he normally did, and therefore had to endure a fresh set of stares at his alien beauty, loosened, waist-length hair, narrow, blue eyes and unusual outfit. He sailed past the gawking patrons, white heels clicking absurdly as he went, and slid into a bar seat. He pulled the newly repaired swan feather coat from his shoulders and set it, gently, upon the bar top. He swept his hair to fall over one shoulder with one hand as he snapped his fingers at the tender with the other. He offered an insincere smile to the tender and considered his order.
"I think... just a water. Hold the lemon. And... i'd like some french fries, please? I don't know what size is the largest, but if you can fill up a bucket and bring it out, that would be just peachy. Oh, um, sanitize it first, this is a bar, after all." he said with a small laugh as he watched the man next to him begin to sample almost all of the mixed nuts.
Demitrius made a face, and wagged a long, black nailed finger at him.
"That is very unsanitary. And a little greedy. The bowl's nearly empty, now. You should think of others, sometimes."
Without looking, Demitrius reached to grab the glass of water he expected to be there. He was disappointed. He turned to fix his blue-eyed glare upon the bartender.
"Are you serious? Why is my hand empty, right now?"
His water came a second later. He sipped it, still glaring at the bartender, when a smell touched his nostrils. It was like Sookie's, but not as familiar. She must be farther from the Light. His eyes fell upon the girl immediately, and he only stared, sipping his water.

As Vivian tasted her favorite drink she heard two new people came in the bar. First was a girl who was human with a scent of death. Vivian figured she was those fangbangers as they called them so she kept to herself the second was a man. He seemed not human, he didn't have that human scent. His scent was those fragrances that came during Christmas, well to Vivian's sense of smell anyway. She went back to sipping her margarita.

The bar was suddenly buzzing with life. He glanced over at the man sitting next to him. He smelled really wonderful, which took Vaughn a little by surprise. Then he was annoyed because he was commenting about the amount of nuts being eaten. Vaughn also caught the scent of another shifter in the bar. A pretty girl who wanted a virgin margarita.
"Better steer clear of that one, probably under age." There was also another young woman who ordered some kind of italian drink that he had never heard of. She was beautiful but Vaughn didn't want to press his luck, plus the guy's scent would not get out of his head. It was so alluring.
He turned his attention to the attractive man. "Listen guy, I just got here, the nuts were low to begin with and I am a little hungry so I just took a hand full. If I decide that my hunger can not be sated by these nuts then I will order a burger before I devour its contents. As for the unsanitary part, well no one said we had to shake hands right?"

Vivian glanced at the guy talking to the guy with the weird yet wonderful scent. The guy was mentioning something about nuts. The guy didn't have a human scent it was...familar. Was the guy like her? Someone who shifts into an animal? Part of her wanted to talked to him, she haven't seen someone like her besides her family. There were a few "friends of the family" but she barely remembered them. But she didn't want to reveal anything in public even if she said anything. When a waitress came over to her if see if she wanted anything else she replied " A Bacardi if you have it" What the h#ll she was 26 after all, and she felt getting something stronger.

Sarah May glanced around at her fellow patrons. A tall good looking man, a girl with dark hair and a young attractive guy. She was fairly impressed with her fellow patrons, especially for such a random time of day.
She glared at the good looking man. She thought he almost seemed slightly familiar, but quickly dismissed the thought. She didn't know anyone in the state of Louisiana much less Bon Temps. She hated when people behaved rudely, but she decided it would be impolite of her to say anything of consequence.
She turned her attention to the other man and woman and sent them a bubbly smile as she played with the condensation on the outside of her glass. For such a small town, all of Bon Temps' inhabitants seemed rather interesting. They all seemed different somehow from her friends back home.
She sipped her Bellini and ordered an order of fried chicken. Sarah May laughed to herself. Champegne and Fried Chicken. If she wasn't a southern belle who was.

Demitrius stared at the young faerie drop as she glared back at him. He gave her a wide grin, unveiling his straight teeth and sharp canines. He only tore his eyes away when the dirty, greedy man sharply retorted.
"Listen guy, I just got here, the nuts were low to begin with and I am a little hungry so I just took a hand full. If I decide that my hunger can not be sated by these nuts then I will order a burger before I devour its contents. As for the unsanitary part, well no one said we had to shake hands right?"
Demitrius's mouth fell open. A human had not spoken so brazenly to him in decades. If he were not so shocked, he would have snatched his tongue from his mouth and then gave him a stern talking-to.
It was at this same instant that Demitrius realized that this man was bizarrely attractive. He leaned towards him and took a deep whiff. Shifter.
"I don't usually shake hands with animal-people, but thanks for the offer, Mr. Greedums."
A waitress glared at him as she heavily dropped a large pail full of french fries in front of him. Demitrius's eyes lit up and he clapped his hands together, smiling grandly at the treat.
"Oh, thank you, thank you! I thought I might starve."
Without more than an instant's deliberation he grabbed a large handful of scalding hot fries and dumped then on top of the bowl of mixed nuts.
"Here you go, Greedums. See, I know how to share!"
He reached back into the pail, brabbed another handful of smoking fries and shoved them into his mouth. He chewed the greasy, starchy mess for a few moments then turned and smiled toothily at the man he called Greedums, then the glaring faerie drop, before swallowing the fries and grabbing another handful.
