If there was one thing that annoyed Sue more than humans, it would be their stupid holidays. This Christmas time. Sue was actually around before Christmas was celebrated, if she were religious at all, she would be aware that she was born before Christ even was. Then again, she could remember everything that went wrong in Egypt, all the plagues. Although one particular plague really helped her out, for there was one time where darkness spread all across the land. What better plague than more hours of operation for the vampires? Sue most certainly had her fun there.
Still, Christmas had just passed and this New Year's ordeal would be just as dreadful. Still, it did hold some interesting parties and some lovely fangbangers who just looked for a good way to end one year and begin the next. It was early, then again, Sue tended to wake up early and just sit around before going somewhere. This time, the night had come just a few minutes early and Sekhmet was dressed in her golden evening gown, with her volumous hair gently resting on her shoulders and her gold heels increasing her height by an inch. Merlotte's might be fun tonight. If it grew tiresome, maybe she would go to Fangtasia and have her some blood and fun.
Her vehicle pulled up to the bar and she got out and looked around, searching for any familiar faces. So far, she did not see any and instead went ahead and entered the bar. Some of the patrons knew her, but not too many. Then again, it was hard to miss such an elegant and ancient vampire. The pale brunette took a seat and ordered a True Blood at the bar, hoping that the little cute part-fae telepath, Sookie Stackhouse, would be serving for the night. It would be fantastic if she could see that little peppy blonde.

Vivian walked over to Merlotte's for New Year's. She rather celebrate with people even though she didn't know them much. Well, it was better than celebrating alone. Vivian felt a little out of sorts with her attire*, she was so used to the New York surroundings that her clothing was more high class, not that she wasn't a snob but when she was new at the Big Apple she was the opposite, now it was quite the reverse. "How ironic" Vivian thought. First I was the small town girl in the city, now I'm the city girl in a small town. Things couldn't get funnier can it?" She hope she didn't get stares from people seeing her. Vivian always felt a little self conscience in new surroundings, just a little time and work she gets better into relaxing in strange places. Vivian went in, a whiff of alcohol and BBQ was saturated in the atomsphere in the bar and grill tickled her nose. She was kinda fond of it. Vivian went to the bar; it would look weird sitting in a booth with what she wore. She manage a sniff of something...dead. Vivian caught her gaze of a lady in gold. Well, I guess I'm not the only one looking out of sorts" She thought to herself. The vampire seemed a pretty old one from the wisdom and experience in her eyes. Someone not to be trifled with. Vivian gave her attention to the menu; thinking of having red wine for her beverage and was figuring what to eat for tonight. (*-what's she's wearing- www.polyvore.com/classy/set?id=14923907)

So a few things were a little annoying to a vampire, drunks being one of them. Since vampires could not get drunk, it was easy to forget just how crazy a person could become under the influence. Unfortunately, New Years was the perfect excuse for every drunk to drink. One was already pretty well tipsy, a woman, well, an older woman. She attempted to woo the men, making herself appear more drunk than she smelled just so she could possibly attract a man who would give her the night of her life. Stupid woman... She bumped into Sue, nearly spilling her drink and Sekhmet used every inch of her control to stop herself from decapitating the woman.
Slightly regretting her bar choice for the evening, she took the True Blood that she had been provided and requested a martini glass. Drinking out of a bottle was disgusting and she only did it when she was parched. Still, she was modest, and a martini glass would be best. After pouring the thick blood into the glass, she looked around to see a few faces staring at her. Most people were not accustom to blood out of the bottle. It seemed that blood in that quantity could only be accepted when it is covered up by a huge glass bottle instead of in a transparent martini glass. Still, she took a sip and looked around, she didn't mind the attention.
Her eyes settled on a shifter, she could smell it. She wanted to spit in the shifter's direction, however, she did have a sort of fashion sense that most shifters did not possess. Could she possibly have the same high class attitude? It would be absolutely amazing if she did, but Sue kept her distance. The smell of a wet animal was always the worst, even if the girl was not wet, Sue could smell the shower water on her from hours ago.

Vivian took another look at the vampire after hearing a drunk lady bumping into something which was the undead woman herself. Vivian didn't take pity on drunks but she had some sympathy for the elder woman who didn't realize what she got herself into with the necrolady. It seemed the ancient but still young vamp had a lot of restrain which Vivian have to give to her. Vivian noticed that the vamp took a glance at her and looked like she wasn't happy. Vivian knew that vampires find the shifters and weres's scent repulsive. Well, Vivian couldn't help if she smelled horrible. She took her attention to the menu again; deciding that the jimbalaya seemed a nice choice to order.

Pam was more than a little excited about the evening. She didn't know what was better, visiting sweet Sookie or having a bounty of drunk women all to herself. She chuckled and as she pulled up to the bar, her smile dropped to a stupefied looking gape. Sekhmet was here? What was the world coming to? She screeched into a spot and quickly hopped out of her vehicle. As she entered her bar Pam spotted her old friend. This night was getting more and more interesting.

Amelia wandered into the bar, not wanting to be alone on New years. She needed a big drink of something strong and satisfying. Her brown hair was straight and shiney with a cute flower headband pulling her fringe out of her eyes.
Her eyes fell on every member of the bar as she walked in, she scanned the room in the hope of someone she may like to talk to but couldnt really see any friends in the bar. Amelia aquired a seat at the bar, she started to think of what to drink and eventually ordered a double whiskey.
She sighed and took a gulp of her strong whiskey, in the hope that the loneliness of new years would disapear. She crossed her long legs which shined under the bar's lights, thanks to a nice new razor she bought that day. She felt good but she soon started to feel bored.
