She noticed him sitting in a booth. He was here almost every night sitting alone by himself with a l ook of longing. It almost was enough to make her puke. It wasn't as much fun if the chase is taken away. Yet she found him appealing and who knows maybe this man could be amusing. She glided over to him and smiled fangs bared. "Why the long face? You need some company?'

Shane sat, with a drink that had not been touched, watching the people in Fangtasia. It seemed that there was always a mix of excited, scared, nervous and happy creatures that roamed around. Not to mention the glamored ones who oooed and awwed at everything. He wished sometimes he could be glamored all the time, it would make life easier. Being lost in this thought, he was quickly interrupted by someone. Looking up, he noticed her, Pam, the second in charge of Fangtasia. Eric's right hand man or woman or well, vampire. She was talking to him. "Long face? Company?" He said a bit confused, was she really talking to him. "Errr, yes?" He did not know if this was real, a dream or what. She was always feisty and hard to reach, and her talking to him, amazing.

"Now, now sweetling, do not be so timid. It is an honor to be seen with in feet of me let alone inches. I will sit now with you and we will chat. For some reason this evening I am feeling very charitable. Tell me your name." Pam sometimes found humans entertaining, more often than not as of late thanks to Sookie. Pam wistfully thought of the telepath and a desire to see her took over. It was nonsense that the human could affect her so but Pam wasn't in Bon Temps, she was in Fangtasia and the human beside her wasn't Sookie it was...this man. He was paying her rent so to speak and it was rude to ignore walking money.

Shane was rather nervous, it was Pam. The Pam. Talking to him. He was used to the vampires here but not this one, who he was watched and watched time after time. She moved with such grace and power, beauty and brains....if he did not stop thinking know drool would begin to pour out! "Ughh, Im Shane. Shane Wallace. It's a pleasure, and a great pleasure to meet you. You are beauty!" He said, feeling his cheeks become hot. The kind of hot where you are nervous and afraid yet excited all at the same time.

"My, my, such flattery for little 'ole me. Sweetling you do not need to sugar coat things for me. I am old not feeble. I do adore compliments though, especially on my shoes. Tell me, my Shane do you like these?" Pam pulled her foot up and set it next to him on the booth seat. She could practically see his heart beat out of his chest.

What was making this night so different? Whatever it was he dare not question a thing. "Your shoes are...they are..." He had to search for the right word. Resorting back to this high school complimenting was not his style, yet nerves got the best of people sometimes. "the perfect mix of sexy yet dominating!" He smiled at his answer, not knowing much about shoes but knowing a few things about this vampire before his eyes.

"You know exactly what I want to hear...is that exactly how you feel though?" Pam was most curious about what drove humans recently because of Bon Temps local telepath barmaid, Sookie Stackhouse. It seemed to her that if she could figure out the simpler humans she would eventual begin to understand Sookie.
"Why is it exactly that you come here night after night? Don't you feel empty when your cold blooded lover has left you? I am just curious about you..." it was not the exact truth but a moderation of it. Pam didn't want the young male throwing himself off a bridge tonight.

Shane looked at Pam, who was trying to get into his mind it seemed. He had never really had a deep conversation with a vampire, save for that one a long time ago, but that was another story. He was just on a roller coaster of emotion this night, with one of the most famous vampires in the bar. "It is how I feel, because it is truth!" He replied to her comment of his true feelings. Then she got even deeper. Why would she take a liking to this human, what was so interesting about him?
The question, the one he asked himself but was never asked outloud before. "Do I feel lonley after a night with a cold one?" He repeated outloud. "Well, about the same way I would feel after a night with a warm one. Feelings are feelings no matter the temperature of your blood." He paused and thought for a second as he took a sip of his drink. "I come here because it is different, it is not the usual daily activities that Ive endured throughout life. It is new and exciting." He hoped his answer satisfied her need for answers. "Why is it that you ask? Do you really care? Afterall you are vampire."

"Strange as it may seem, yes I do care very much about your responses and how you feel. I know it must seem strange coming from someone who hasn't paid you any attention before this night."
Pam was interested in why some one would throw themselves at a vampire over and over again. It was like lover suicide. Vampire's liked the thrill of the hunt and to have such easy targets lying about took the fun out of it. They also were bored fairly easy and could leave at the drop of a hat.
"Are you seeing anyone special now?" Pam scanned his necks for any marks and couldn't tell in this particular light. She was confident the answer would be no since no one had come to challenge her.

Shane just looked at the powerful dominating vampire sitting with him. She did care, seemed like a thirst of knowledge filled her as to the ways of the fangbangers. But Shane was not the average fangbanger. He wanted to turn into a creature of the night one day and that was his real reason for coming to the club, for being the feeding for these vampires. He know vampires could love humans, he knew love came if funny places and just hoped with all hope that he would meet the right onee.
"Well you, by far, are the most interested vampire in human thought I have met." He took a sip of his drink and listened. "No one special, other than you before my eyes. I come here for the thrill, hoping to find someone, but it never really has turned out the way Ive hoped." He took another sip, then looked at the glass and downed the remaining contents. "Vampires are by far more interesting than your average human. As I can imagine your life has seen more than I can read in a book."

Pam smiled with fangs bared and scooted around the booth closer to Shane to twirl a strand of his hair around her finger. "I have seen many things...things that I doubt you would care to see."
His skin was so pale and smooth...it smelled delicious. "Wars have raged around me, kingdoms have been destroyed in my midst, social class and money have changed many times over since my birth. Some of the happiest times and the worst of times have occurred since I was turned and to tell the truth I am not sure if I was happier then as a human or now as a vampire."
To play on this situation more Pam nuzzled the inside of his neck and inhaled deeply. "I am sure that I know which one you prefer more."

Shane listened as Pam spoke in somewhat of a trance. She had not glamored him, to his knowledge, but she was sure entrancing. Her talk of war and happiness made his soul just spark up, she was rather deep. And showing interest in him. After all the nights of being here, all the nights of watching her do her thing. She tonight, chose him. Maybe it was the new cologne. As he thought this, she smelled him and his spine tingled. Then a nuzzle of his neck. Shane felt he was going to collapse. Pam, the infamous beautiful powerful Pam, was nuzzling at his neck. A fangbangers dream.
"And what is it that I prefer more?" He asked, all he could get out. Maybe he just almost passed out and forgot what was going on. "I do prefer this right here!" He said all slick as she placed his hand on her cold thigh and took drink. "What, may I ask, called you to my attention on this night. Of all the nights?" He wanted to be a vampire but loved the human emotions he felt being with one. That was why he was considered a fangbanger.

She tilted her head at him quizzically. "I am not sure. To be honest I have seen you here many times before and nothing really struck me as different." Pam ran a hand through his hair. "I have only met one other human as bold as you to question my motives." She could see the man's blood pumping through his vein. It had quickened since she had sat down. Obviously he was either excited or scared and she seriously doubted he was that scared or he wouldn't be in the vampire club.
"Does it really matter why I decided to speak with you? Aren't you flattered that I even deemed you worthy to speak with.?" She leaned back and removed her hand from his hair. "I am starting to get a little annoyed by this cavalier attitude of humans lately. I can kill you in the blink of an eye. Maybe faster, I am not certain though, I haven't really checked that out. When I do, I will let you know."

Shane was feeling a bit empowered, since Pam was here with him. She commented on seeing him before, was this a bad thing? Was she going to treat him like a toy, as many do? He hated being the toy sometimes, but it seemed to be the only thing that made him feel alive ever since his obsession with the creatures of the night began. "I am only bold because you are bringing it out of me. You have power and it is like seaping towards me. I mean no mal intentions." He said, trying to save himself. Speaking with vampires was like a logic puzzle, they played games.
She continued on a rant of humans being what he considered snobby. "I am just shocked. Ive watched you move around in here for a long time. You are like the ancient art behind bullet proof glass with guards watching, something to look at, comment on, but do not touch." He hoped this came out more of a compliment than anything derogatory. "I am more than flattered you chose to speak to me tonight. So flattered." He gave her a soft smile. "I would hope with the blink of your eye you would not kill me, but if it happened, then well, my flattery of meeting you would have been the best emotion to have felt before death. That is alot more than anyone can ask for!" He said, being coy and trying to spit game enough to keep her sitting there. He was nervous, so he took a large gulp of his drink.

She chuckled. Humans lately were so entertaining to her. The vampire wasn't a human lover by any means. She needed them to live and for other sweaty types of entertainment. Other than that they were very expendable. However, most of them were very amusing.
This one for example. He wanted her, in fact she was fairly certain he wanted any vampire. The fangbanger wanted something from her that he couldn't get in his human life. He was risking his life to get it. "Tell me exactly what you want, what your heart most desires. Shane Wallace, you are mine tonight and I have decided to make your wildest dream come true. Your words are tragic and you have the soul of a tortured poet. Everything you say is quite amusing if not sad."
She focused on the pulse in his throat. He was very nervous and that emotion really got the blood pumping. She was so focused and it was very mesmerizing.
