Shane was just flabergasted at Pam. She never noticed him in all his time here, never even cared about his presence. Now, tonight, they were talking like old friends or new lovers. It was amazing and he never wanted it to end. For some reason, Shane was keeping Pam interested, even though he found himself to be rather boring. But she did not feel this way apparently. It must have been his new cologne, the one he got at the vampire store for fangbangers.
Pam had just asked him something that made him want to release in his pants. Something he never expected and had never heard from anyone in his life, other than his dreams. "Now, that is a hell of a questions. It's like those questions of what's your favorite movie when you can not think of the answer on the spot." He paused to think. "What it is I want, I do not know." He really did know and that was to be a vampire. But he knew it would take more than just a good mood of Pam for this to happen. "My heart most desires, well, err, it desires to not beat yet keep on living. But even more, it desires a moment like this, with you right now, forever!" He knew it was a crap answer, but he knew he would not be changed tonight. But hell, it sure could might just happen.

She could feel Shane stiffen, every where, and couldn't help but laugh. "You are too cute. I am flattered that you would think so highly of me." Pam took a finger and traced his jaw line starting from his ear and stopping at his chin.
Pam wasn't obtuse. She could tell that Shane wanted to become a vampire. However, she didn't know if she was ready to change anyone yet. Every time she moved, Pam wondered how it would affect Eric. She loved him more than her own life and would do anything for her master. The times were changing and she didn't know if the one she made would be as loyal.
"I wonder if you know the responsibilities of a vampire. Perhaps not, you are so young and quiet human. Not everything that happens to vampires are appealing to humans. Emotions that you feel now fade away. Obligations and responsibilities of a vampire are more demanding. It's not always fun and games."
Pam loved her undead life and wouldn't change what happened for anything but many humans thought it was all about living forever and being sexy or something along those lines. That is how they got killed young. They were reckless and didn't value their relationship with their makers. That was the most annoying thing of all.
