The Debt... The Construction?

Well, I don't know if it's too early for Alcide to do a favor for Eric or not, if it IS too early, than I'll leave it until we are ready for such a thing.

Even if the favor wasn't to be done soon, I could still see Alcide wanting to speed the process up and going straight to Fangtasia himself to speak with The Man. Even if nothing ended up happening, he'd still establish himself amongst the other characters that might be in Fangtasia and such.

If anybody wants to do that... let me know, a meet and greet wouldn't be bad.

Or maybe a character needs construction? I could possibly even see Alcide's construction company building things for the Fellowship of the Sun--that would make something interesting happen.

If anybody wants to get into a small time or big time story with Alcide, let me know, as long as I've got the characters and maybe an idea of what you do and don't want for your character, I'm pretty good at coming up with random ideas

P.S. I still can't think of a celebrity face for Alcide Herveaux, I know in the books he's described as huge, tall, manly handsome, untamed possibly long black hair. I was thinking maybe a professional wrestler would work for him LOL I don't know, ideas would be appreciated

Well Eric is in Dallas right now sorting out the Godrick issue but as soon as he returns to Fangtasia, he and Alcide could interract (I play Eric as well).

As for a storyline for now, Kimberly doesn't have anything going on right now. She's a witch and new to Louisiana and would probably be interesting to see what could happen between her and Alcide. If you want more info on her, don't hesitate to ask.

For someone to play him, I was looking at a couple wrestlers that could be good. I'm a huge wrestling fan. Here's a couple possibilities. Tell me what you think of these.

Actually, I was thinking Batista as well, he's got a great face for the character, but not long enough hair. Matt Hardy wouldn't be bad either if there were more normal dressed pictures of him x3

Maybe I'll put up a poll, let you guys choose various actors/celebrities, and then you guys can vote on it... because I'm so indecisive.

As for little stories, does Kimberly work anywhere yet? I could see Alcide going in for a check-up for something or another and meeting her and smelling her 'difference'. Because of this, he'd be kind but he'd be more curious about her, as I'm not sure how much Alcide knows about witches or if he's ever come across one before the witch wars, which haven't happened on this board. He'd certainly be curious.

Or where does she live? Perhaps she'd require some small touch ups on her abode? Alcide's company could do that.

I could see Alcide at least wanting to be friends, wanting to know what she was and such. I think I read in the profile that Kim isn't very open about being a witch? He'd definitely want to gain her trust so he could know who she is. I could see Debbie interjecting, just as she always has to.

Any of that work? Have any ideas of your own?

I think Batista would be a great choice for the character. He definately has the lone wolf thing going and I don't think it'll be such a big deal that his hair is short.

As for Kimberly, she's just moved to Bon Temps to run a health care clinic and has a new apartment that has been renovated recently because her mother would die if she ever lived in a unrenovated flat.

Kimberly doesn't really tell anyone about who she is because all her life she's been told by her mother that witches are a disgrace to the human race. She just wants to be normal but fails miserably most of the time.

I could see her being interested in Alcide because he is doing somethings she has never dared to do, to be himself.

She's with Sookie at the moment but I'll move her to Merlotte's today if you want to join her there.

I could see Alcide passing through Bon Temps to meet with a client, that would certainly work. Or maybe he goes to Merlotte's FOR his client. Maybe meet him there, and then his client orders Kimberly a drink to Alcide's embarrassment. Something like that?

While I'm waiting for that to run itself, anybody else want/need a mini plot with Alcide? Like I said, I come up with random stuff at the top of my head as long as I have an idea of the character and what you do/don't want to happen, I can come up with somethin'!

Well it seems that people know more about the True Blood story lines then I do..lol. The only knowledge I have of True Blood is from the TV series. For right now, I do not have any plot-line or story that Deja is involved in, so I would be up for just about anything.

I would love to help you out if you're interested. My character is finished/finishing up in Bon Temps and I'd love for her to get to Shreveport and maybe hook up with the Were pack.

I'm having troubles coming up with anything for Deja at the moment.

But for Summer, I read that Summer does little odd jobs at various places. Would she be interested in working for Herveaux and Son? Depending on what you think her skills are (if she'd do secretarial work, PR work, hard on the job work that sort of thing) he'd interview her, spot her nature (and not her personality) and probably hire her off the bat.

And perhaps there could be some sort of loose connection between someone from the Long Tooth Wolf Pack and Summer's parent(s)? As they are both werewolves, that could conceivably happen. Maybe in Colonel Flood's travels he happened upon her father or mother or both of them.

If you are up for something like that, let me know, I've got other ideas I'd like to throw by you if you think those ideas are okay.

Ooooh I totally love the idea of Colonel Flood or someone else from the Long Tooth Pack having some sort of connection with one or both of her parents. Maybe her dad, as she hasn't ever met him. Also loving the idea of her working for the Herveaux's, the idea of Summer trying to do office work amuses me greatly, it'll be a real hoot to write.

Really interested in your other ideas too.

Anyway, depending on if Summer's father was a bad man or a good man (I'd leave that up to you) that would change Flood's outlook about Summer. If he had been a bad man (we could figure out what he did that was so "bad" in Flood's book) then he probably wouldn't want Summer in the pack. If he had been a good man, he'd welcome her with open arms. If he had a bad man, it'd be up to Alcide to find ways for Summer to prove herself to Colonel Flood.

Also... hmm maybe Summer had a werewolf boyfriend in the past? As he could now be apart of the Long Tooth wolf pack, and does everything in his power to stop her from joining because of a bad break up or something.

If you've got any ideas, throw them out of course!

Her father being a good man or not would be complicated. It's bad because he ran out on Summer's mother shortly after getting her pregnant. But he's not a bad guy in other ways, he was just young reckless and scared of commitment knowing his child would grow up like him. I've not written it out in her journal yet, but Summer's mother never indicated her nature and cast a blind eye to all Summer went through. Summer also doesn't know if her father is alive or dead. I'm undecided on that at the moment.
I'll leave that up to you on how the Colonel would deal with that information. I trust your judgement completely.

An ex-Were boyfriend would be good too, especially if she was the one that ended the relationship. She'd have had her Shifter boyfriend prior to this and that had a profound affect on her. So the Were would have been a rebound sort of thing. The reasons of why the relationship with the Shifter ended is gonna be another journal entry.

Definetly like the idea of Alcide being supportive of Summer and the possibility of her joining the Long Tooth Pack. It would fgo a long way to helping Summer rebuild some of her trust issues.
