Name: Alicetra Thorn
Age: 19
Member Group: Werewolf
Character History:
Alicetra was the daughter of two werewolves, part of a small pack in the city. Her parents where running for their lives, their newborn baby held close. They were being chased by a hunter; her father injured and their lives in danger. 01:26am, 23 March, 19 years ago... a small baby girl was found in a filthy, dark alleyway. Her body smeared with blood and wrapped in a worn plaid shirt. The night air cold and city silent except for the echoes of televisions and distant sirens. Found shivering in the alley, by a delivery man, Alicetra was taken to the local police station; parents no where to be found. Somehow the baby was in good health, wearing nothing but a diaper and the grubby shirt wrapped around her miniature form; even though evidently in the cold for a number of hours.
Police posted a report for any witnesses to the scene and looked for any relevant missing child cases…. There was no trace of her parents. Alicetra was sent of to a foster home, then another and another. That little tweak in her genes came out once a month during the full moon, running off and not remembering what she had been doing. The carers labelled her as a problem child, other children stayed away. She tried to make friend but she still felt alone, felt different from them. When she looked out the windows she knew she belonged far away from here.
Though the perfect image of a foster child, the type couples came looking for; slime, delicate looking, pretty complexion and blonde hair. She remained at the foster home. Her monthly disappearances and black outs. Missing segments, she could only remember being doing something one minute then waking up somewhere. Usually naked. Of course she started to notice the recurrence, she always blacked out around the same time each month, now and then she would remember feeling funny before she lost memory… The psychologist said I had some type of split personality and I couldn’t remember what it was doing. She was starting to remember more, having dreamed about running on all fours, seeing things differently. One girl said she had growled in her sleep.
Her blackouts seemed grow fainter almost to a fog, almost like a sleep. Remembering feelings and smells. Freedom… She finally recognised what she was, of course she was different but she was more. She was a werewolf. Changing because of the full moon, when she got hurt she always healed a little faster than the doctor said she would, she had great hearing and love for meat. She would change into a wolf and run from the home, move through the cities alleys or run out to the forests on the city edge. She always felt out of place but discovering her real self was like a weight lifted, she could just change and run.
Age seventeen she through the small amount of clothing and items she owned into a bag and bailed from the depressing government building. She was free. Alicetra stuck to the city at first, it was all she knew. She had nothing, no one and no where to go. She stuck to the streets picking up odd jobs now and then… some not legal. Two years later now she’s travelling around a bit. Jumping train to train, doing job to job. Nothing but her rucksack and the clothes on her back.
The vampires coming out made her think maybe there might be more like her out there. Some said it was a virus they had, *Pah* yeah right, they where stone cold walking dead. She once saw one in Dallas, she didn’t like the look of him, didn’t like the smell of him; she just didn’t like him. During her travels she had met a few shifters, like her but not. She always felt alone… different. Like back at the home. She’d heard Shreveport had a vampire bar and was like a hub for the Louisiana weird world; well if she could find more like her maybe they’d be there. So boarding another train she made her way to the city.
Personality:
Alicetra is kind of protective of herself, doesn’t really show her emotions. She separate herself form others as a child feeling different and years on her own hasn’t helped. She can make friends but usually she only gets close to someone who can do something for her, she never feels any similarities with humans. She would love to just tell them she was different change into a wolf right there right then, but she doesn’t know if there are others for definite, she’s heard but never saw.
She has one focus and that is her. Keep herself alive, find her meal for the evening, find her a safe place to sleep. Although Alice would consider herself quite understanding and level headed, she does have a temper. Pull on the right string… her fuse is strong but short.
Although she doesn’t get close to people or stick around long she has needs, itches that need scratched. She doesn’t have really high standards, if that person can take away the edge… unless it’s a vampire. She just couldn’t…
Future Plans for your character:
I would love for Alicetra meet other werewolves, she’s just come to Shreveport and has looked for them, not succeeding. She’s always felt alone making her more shielded.
Have you read the books
I’ve read the first book and I’m starting the second book now.

Trianna inhaled deeply as she wandered down the footpath, the street signs blurring and directions blurring in her memory. Bored out of her mind at home she had decided a walk was a good idea. Her aunt was deeply entranced with a new book, Dante’s Divine Comedy. It was either get out of sit and listen to how the levels of hell could represent different hell dimensions. Back home she’d be out about with her friends, or even down at the pub. Stupid American over 21 drinking law. She sighed internally, she couldn’t even turn to alcohol to entertain herself.
Her white trainers echoed off the pavement, the wind blowing through her long blonde hair. This town was quiet and peaceful at night, nothing she wasn’t used to. But here it was a little eerie since she found out about the supposed vampires and demons. From what she knew she’d be fine, her power should at least give her a chance to get away…if she can get it to work…
Hmm a park… welcoming to loitering teenagers everywhere. Her clothing was simple, yet delicate. Black jeans fell low on hips and a cotton white shirt hugged her form, the material seeming to glow in the moonlight. A black coat hung loosely on her shoulders. Smiling she bounced happily towards the swing set, childhood memories rushing through her mind. She always love the swings, you felt like you were flying. She loved speed.
Smiling she pushed her legs against the ground, swinging back and forwards slowly. The life of a child was so easy and fun, nothing such as work or your future looming over you. But that childhood innocence could only last so long... then no matter what you have to grow up... at least a bit... Sighing, she swung smiling peacefully, looking around the park. It was probably quite innocent in the day but at night it was dull, get any later and it might just look sinister. Dragging her eyes from the surroundings she looked upwards at the twilight sky.
