Name: Eyolf Riis
Age:24 human years, 50 vampire years
Member Group:(if you choose human, please say what kind of human...or a shifter, what kind of shifter, etc.) Vampire
Character History:Eyolf had lived on his own since he was 12 years old. Wandering the streets of any village or town he came across and stealing to stay alive. He became quite skilled with slight of hand techniques and his mind became as sharp as any razor. He was alone in his own world and never seemed to need anyone or anything. Eyolf thought his life was set and anything he wanted, he could easily get with a few tricks or his boyish charm. Then he came across something that would change his life forever. He met with a person who said they wanted a business deal as Eyolf was known for being able to get rare and desired things for people, for a price that is. Eyolf could tell there was something strange about this person wanting to deal with him, but he was paid a great deal of money upfront with the promise of more when the job was done. Curious but still cautious, Eyolf continued to work for this person for a few years and they had begun to develop a genuine friendship. Then one evening, while the two of them were going over the last job, Eyolf discovered that his employer was not exactly human. "My real name is Dahl, not Alex Foss as I have been telling you for the past few years. And I am not what you may think I am."
Eyolf was taken back and already an escape plan was hatching in his mind of how to leave this business arrangement, and take as much as he could. Usually when people hide little things like their name, there is much more hidden and it is never a good thing. He knew that Alex/Dahl was not a normal person as he never saw him during the daylight hours, and the strange mannerisms that the man had. Eyolf had noticed a lot of things, but Dahl was an honest business partner and a smart man when it came to cons and getting money and he had always treated Eyolf fairly. So with Dahl having little quirks was over look-able. "And just what are you then? You wait for 2 years to tell me you are not what I know of you? Are you really a woman?" Eyolf tried to make a joke, sensing the unease of his friend and was rewarded with a slow chuckle.
"No Eyolf, I am not a woman. I am a vampire, and I wish to offer you a gift. Something that I have never offered anyone in hundreds of years."
Eyolf's eyes narrowed hearing this but he said nothing.
"I have been a vampire for 800 years, and I have been watching you for the past 10 years. You are smart, you know how to survive even when the odds are stacked against you, and this I have come to admire."
Eyolf could not fully understand what was going on, but through out the night of their conversation he finally grasped everything that Dahl was saying. He took the offer, seeing more pros then cons for himself as he was a little greedy and from what Dahl ad been saying, Eyolf's skills would only increase and get more refined and sharper.
Eyolf stayed with Dahl ever since then, opening new business ventures both legal and, well, not so much. Eyolf soaked everything up that he could around him, learned all that he could from Dahl about what it was to be vampire. He practiced his skills and refined everything he knew when he was human. With his vampire speed and strength, he rarely had to use his glamor if he stole something from someone. The items would just seem to vanish before the owner's eyes.
In the new century, Eyolf came to help Dahl open a club of sorts. Not a night club so to speak, but more of a safe haven for those creatures of the night. A place where other vampires could come and be themselves without having to worry about exposing themselves to the human world. It was a few years after this that he came across a young girl, dirty and broken, obviously beaten. There was something different about this girl and Eyolf nursed her back to health. He discovered that this girl was alone with no home and barely able to speak the native language, she was from America. It took some time, but he was able to get her whole story, and they became fast friends. He taught her skills she would need to stay alive on the streets, taught her the language, and in return, she made him feel almost human again just being around her innocence.
Personality: He is very smart when it comes to cons and ways to bend the law to get what he wants. Even before he was a vampire he could read people's body language and tell if they were lying or not. Being a vampire only enhanced his already honed abilities. Yes, he is young for a vampire, only 50 years being undead, but he spent those years working on his natural abilities and his new ones he gained when he became a vampire. There is often a smile on his face, as he has found that people are more willing to trust a smiling face, and when someone trusts you, the more you can get from them. But do not let that smile fool you, underneath that smile is a cold, hard killer who will do anything to protect himself and what he considers his.
Future Plans for your characterTo reunite with Deja, the young girl he became friends with in Drammen, Norway. Also to see what kind of business ventures he can find in this new place, America.

Sample RPOut of the corner of his eye, he caught movement at the end of the alley that he had passed. Probably just a rat or alley cat he thought to himself, but then the air brought to him the scent of blood as well as a low whimper of pain. Slightly curious, Eyolf stopped and then moved down the alley toward the smell. At the end of the alley was the source of the blood, it was a body, a human body. Most likely just another beggar who was beat up for some reason or another, nothing to concern himself with. Just as he was about to turn and leave, a small hand reached out toward him and a whispered voice reached his ears. "Please, please help me..." It took him a moment to translate the language as he was still learning English, and this peaked his curiosity even more. Bending down, he pushed aside a cardboard box off the head of the human and saw that it was a young girl. Her hair was matted and dirty, her face swollen and bruised from what ever beating she received and blood was trickling out of the side of her mouth. The scent came to him again and suddenly his fangs were out and he felt the hunger within himself stir awake. He had just eaten a few hours ago, and he was able to control his hunger better then most other vampires of his age, but this scent was unlike any he had ever experienced before. There was something different about this young one. Picking up the young girl, he cradled her in his arms, mindless of how his clothes were now covered in dirt, blood and other things from the ground. "Do not worry little one, I will help you." He spoke in his native Norwegian tongue, his deep smooth voice soft and low as he did not wish to frighten the girl more then she had been.
