Name: Annabelle "Anna" Rowan
Age: 23 (Vampire Years: 108)
Member Group: Evil, human-hating Vampire
Character History:
Born and raised in an average Oklahoma family during the late 1800's. Land was being taken away from indians and settlers were being allocated certain land. Life was everything you'd expect it to be for hardworking settlers. As was custom, Anna married, against her will, at a young age of twenty to a Rupert Dawes--a young farmer that had inherited his family's land once they had passed away from a virus.
Everything was going as well as it could for the two newly weds. She was still in contact with the person she loved the most, her little sister, Belle and everything was just falling into place. Anna even had a child when she was 23 with her husband. Just when Anna thought her faith in humanity was coming back after the birth of her daughter, suddenly everything turned sour.
The tensions between the indians and the white settlers were growing tenser as the days went by. Rupert got a warning from the indians that "The Reaper" would come and destroy him and his family if they didn't get off the indian land. Rupert reported it to the proper authorities, and consequently a team of settlers was sent out with their guns to shoot and kill indians.
Many were slaughtered in a small incident, and Rupert and Anna thought the trauma was over. However, it had only begun. One night, a pale indian with eyes as scary as the hell beast's came to their door. It was a vampire, "The Reaper" as the indian legends called him. Rupert wanted The Reaper gone, but he refused to leave and glamored Rupert into letting him in the house.
The Reaper maimed and taunted the family. He then forced Rupert to watch as he killed and brought Anna to life with his vampire blood. The Reaper then killed Rupert. All that was left was their young baby daughter, whom The Reaper forced Annabelle to kill and drink from, in fear of losing her own life. All respect that she had gained for humanity from having her daughter disappeared as quickly as it had come. She again hated humanity. Hated The Reaper for turning her. Hated her husband for not being able to defend her. And hated her baby daughter for making her have an insatiable desire to drink child blood.
Not wanting to live amongst the horrible people that killed her family, eventually Annabelle convinced Belle to go with her to New York where they could live together. Anna never really disclosed what happened on that fateful night to Belle, no matter how hard she pressed her. It was memories that only made her angrier at the world. Memories that she didn't want Belle to know in fear that her sister would think she was a monster!
In New York, Anna changed her beloved sister to a vampire, so that they could live eternity together. As selfish as it was, it seemed Belle did not mind as much as one might think. How could a sister deny her other sister love beyond the ages?
As the years went by, Anna killed many children and inspired local legends everywhere. Little did Belle know that it was really Anna killing the children. Since vampires were unknown, Anna was never caught. The two travelled throughout the ages together until recently when they were in Alabama and vampires "came out of the coffin". Annabelle hated the idea but it seemed Belle adored the idea, so she went with it, though still trying to keep her human contact to as little as possible.
One day, Annabelle awoke from her slumber to discover that Belle was missing. Unknown to her, it seemed Belle feared what Anna thought of her mainstreaming. Thinking she'd have something mean to say and do to Belle, Belle had run away. Knowing her sister deserved her freedom, Anna let her live, though she still hungered for her sister's attentions. After letting her have her freedom for awhile, Anna started searching for Belle.
She sent her birthday presents, to which she got no reply to. Anna desperately asked around local vampire scenes if they knew her, showing an old photograph from the 1800's of her sister and her together. But hence, nobody knows where she is.
Now, she's brought herself to Shreveport, in hopes of finding Belle once and for all. In the mean time, Anna lives on money from a fund her husband set up for her ages ago, using it in hopes of finding her dear sister.
Personality:
Anna is the epitome of what an evil vampire would look like. She is conniving and horrible, any good-natured person wouldn't be able to be in a room with her for two seconds before being disgusted by her vile attitudes towards life. Anna certainly believes vampires are superior, Period. However, that doesn't mean she has great love for vampires and great hate for humans. She overall hates everyone with her cold, dead heart. The only person she is kind to is Belle, as they are bound by blood.
When Belle left her life, she was absolutely devastated. Her atrocious happiness soon turned to a hidden depression, with constant thoughts about the whereabouts of her baby sister. Although she rarely shows it, there are moments when blood-filled tears stain her cheeks when she remembers her sister and the longing to be reunited with her stings her to her core. She has taken to draining more, killing low-lifes in big cities--the kind nobody cares about, to ease her pain. Much like an alcoholic drinks to rid of pain, Anna is a human bloodaholic.
Anna loves blood from babies and virgins especially, and will go the distance to taste their desirable blood, only furthering her pure evil. She is also very protective of her sister and would kill hundreds of people if it meant revenge for her sister.

The night was young. Annabelle crawled from her earthy grave in a cemetery. She preferred to sleep in the dirt naked because she felt it helped wash away her sadness. The cool earth on her white torso was like an automatic air conditioner. Annabelle was stark naked, but it didn't bother her if anybody saw her. If it was a human, she would just glamor them away. Of course, she'd prefer to kill them, but now that vampires had to live in the laws, she really had no other choice.
"Vampire cops," Annabelle spat, "silver prisons... Humans do everything in their power to hold us down..."
Yes, she'd like to meet one of the vampires who acted as a cop. Meet them and quickly send them to an early death again. Show them just how stupid and foolish they were to be working for the humans. Sometimes, Anna knew exactly why Belle left. Belle loved these humans. She loved everyone. Her nature was pure and angelic, yet she was a vampire... Anna didn't want any of Belle's compassion. Nobody deserved her compassion. No one.
Humans weren't innocent. Anna remembered back a few years ago to 9/11. She could remember laughing at the screen as the little humans jumped out of the building and mangled themselves on the debris below. Good riddance to them. If only a catastrophe could happen like that everyday, then she wouldn't have to worry about those impudent souls calling themselves equal to vampires.
Anna pictured what Belle's reaction would be to her saying such a thing. It made her hurt thinking of her baby sister. Gone. But where? A small red tear trickled down her cold cheek.
"Sister, why have you left me? Alone..."
Annabelle went to the nearby mausoleum to retrieve 2000's era clothing. She slipped them on and sat on the tomb of someone that had died in 1901.
"You are dead like me, old sport..."
Her legs dangled to and fro as she contemplated what to do with her night.
