Eric had returned from Dallas with the knowledge that his maker Godrick was alright. It had eased his mind and allowed him to return to Fangtasia to resume his duties as a sheriff in that area.
Very little had changed in the time he had been gone. Still pathetic humans desperate for the affections of a vampire roamed the dancefloor of the bar. If he had not been in the mood he was in right now, Eric might have considered tasting one or two of the fangbangers who had already offered themselves to him.
What had happened to Godrick had given him a lot to think about. And that was what he intended to do tonight.

After she had finished her Dutch Blood, she felt the buzz of the Tru Blood in her veins and the aftertaste of Absinthe lingered on her palate. When her eyes caught notice of Eric Northman, her heart almost started beating. Glancing back at Stan, she nodded to him. "Thank you for the company, but I have some business to attend to." She bowed a little when she stood up, smiling, knowing he'd confirm his odd thoughts about her. After that she let her feet do the walking over to Eric to make an introduction to the sheriff and second oldest vampire in the club. Her grecian style dress flowed behind her, an emerald wave of sorts, the soft sound of her flats on the dance floor. Anouk squeezed through a few vamps dancing and a few humans aching to be bitten or payed attention to by other vampires, Anouk simply brushed them off her shoulders. Seeing the blonde in his sheriff chair, she waited for the vampire in front of her to finish before walking up to him, bowing her head and introducing herself. "Hello sheriff Northman. It's finally nice to meet you. I am Umm Fatimah Anoushka bint Amir ibn Geemal al-Misr, or simply Anouk. I've been waiting for you. I'm simply here to make my presence know to Area 5 and possibly a job here." She smiled, her fangs popped out to let him know she was one of them and not some fangbanger looking for a hook-up. ((OOC: Hey, sorry for the mistake, I got it fixed. Thanks ))

((OOC: Anouk Eric is sheriff of area 5))
Rose took her first steps into Fangtasia, the vampire nightclub owned by Area 5's sheriff. It looked more like a tourist trap than the sort of place she was used to, though she was sure he done well out of it. Eric Northman was the sheriff here and Rose had come to make her introductions as was appropriate for a new vampire arriving. She had never mmet ERic before but knew him to be an old vampire, a Viking, this interested her as she wanted to see if the image in her head fitted his appearance. Eric wasn't hard to spot but she stood back as she noticed another vampire approach him, a female, and very old from what Rose could tell. Rose looked at Eric, she could imagine him as a Viking and thought that he must have been a formidable warrior among his people.
While Rose was waiting she ordered a True Blood from the bar and perched at the edge of a bar stool. Maybe she could find his second-in-command and let them know she needed a second of Eric's time.

Belle had left the graveyard in a hurry. She wanted to get this over with. She wanted to meet this Sheriff and then she wanted to go back to that totally fun human bar. She spotted what in means might be the Sheriff, he was talking to another vampire.
She walked up to this strange duo. Maybe she was new too. I hope so. "Um, excuse me."She said looking between the two. "I am here to see the Sheriff." She said it loud enough were the two vamps would here him but any surrounding patrons won't. She waved down the bartender,"May I please have some AB Positive."She said as politely as possible.

As Eric was sitting on his sheriff throne, a vampire approached him. She appeared to be very old, older than him which was a rare instance for him.
"Hello sheriff Northman. It's finally nice to meet you. I am Umm Fatimah Anoushka bint Amir ibn Geemal al-Misr, or simply Anouk. I've been waiting for you. I'm simply here to make my presence know to Area 5 and possibly a job here."
"Waiting for me, hmmm, you are not the first nor the last to do so. I sense you are an old vampire, but I'm afraid there are no jobs currently available but give your name to Pam and she'll keep you in mind." He said with disinterest. This whole thing with Godrick had shaken Eric to the core and he was finding it more and more difficult to concentrate on anyone at the moment.
The one person who he had been thinking about a lot recently was Scarlett, a vampire he had turned a century ago in Ireland. He was determined to look her up, as soon as he could.
His talk with Anouk was suddenly disrupted by another female vampire. While Anouk was elegant and restrained, this one seemed a bit wilder.
"I am here to see the Sheriff."
"I'm the sheriff of this area. What do you want," Eric asked, not interested in politeness or niceties.

Anouk let her lips form into a small smirk, hearing his words, so lacking in heart. Of course, he was Sheriff and she was an new vampire to his area, Anouk didn't expect a grand reply. Letting her hips fall to one side, Anouk was a little less stiff than before upon talking to him, but still held her grace. "Let's just say my maker is as close to the original vampire we could get." Before revealing too much, she stoped herself and then continued. "I imagine so Mr. Northman, you are a rather important figure here." Anouk took another look around Fangtasia, before focusing her eyes back on Eric. "Well, if that is all, I'll leave you with this one who needs you attention more than I do." Anouk bowed before him, not a very traditional sweeping movement, but more subtle and simply out of respect for the sheriff. Before completely turning, she quickly added, "If something is bothering you, try a Dutch Blood. Nothing like La Fee Verte to get a dead heart pumping." Anouk was incredibly curious about Eric, mostly about his age and his life. It was rare indeed to meet a vampire as old as him, it seemed odd there was a mass turning in the 16th, 17th and 18th century. As Anouk walked away, she went up to the bar and ordered another Dutch Blood, taking a long sip, letting her lips linger on the rim before setting it down and staring off into space. She simply let her thoughts slip in and out of her mind, waiting for Eric to finish speaking with the other woman.

"I am here to give you my loyalty and respect and let you know I am in your Area and will be for at least a year or longer.." She caught his distress and decided polite isn't the way to go. "I am also looking for a snack. But I will not bite on the premises. I understand and will obey your rules why I am under your advisory." She smiled her drop dead gorgeous smile. The smile complimented her outfit, which was a long red sleeveless gown and black stilettos. She had on an elegent onyx and ruby tiara that complemented her ruby earrings and onyx necklace.

"I'll talk to Pam and see what I can do about the job. Speak soon, I hope," Eric said with a small smile lingering on his lips. This vampire was an interesting one, a classy one who could definately come in use in the near future. I was intriqued.
Eric watched her settle at the bar and then focused his attention to the person who had interrupted his talk with Anouk.
"I am here to give you my loyalty and respect and let you know I am in your Area and will be for at least a year or longer.."
"Welcome to area five. As for loyalty, that one has to be earned. I didn't get to be as old as I am without being smart and suspicious. It's not a reflection upon you but it takes awhile for anyone to win my trust," Eric said with a smirk playing on his lips. The first almost smile he had had in ages.
"I am also looking for a snack. But I will not bite on the premises. I understand and will obey your rules why I am under your advisory."
"We have had some problems with the law enforcement so I would appreciate not feeding on a human under my roof. Do as you wish outside of Fangtasia but here, no feeding on humans," Eric said sternly. He didn't want any problems.

Rose watched with interest as a younger vampire almost usurped the older ones audience with Eric but it didn't seem of consequence when the younger one was allowed to continue. With a small smirk she thought of how she was young once and almost missed the secrecy of their ways. Pushing that thought aside and aware she must make her presence in the city known she place her bottle on the bar and stood.
Rose walked towards Eric and gave him a deep nod while waitng patiently behind the younger vampire for his attention.

"Thank you. I will feed later or just some TruBlood will sedate me."She nodded to the Sheriff. "Goodday, or night." She saw the vampire walk up and wait behind her. She nodded to this vampire before exiting the door on the other side.

Let's just say my maker is as close to the original vampire we could get No truer words could be spoken, but Anouk feared someone would hear those words other than Eric, the wrong someone. Maryam never prided herself on being an ancient, mainly because of her lineage and her creator. You see, Anouk was created by a vampire sired by a Lilu, one of Liliths demonic children in Sumerian myth. Well, it's not exactly myth since it actually happened. Anouk was never fond of myths and legends, mainly because she was there to witness them and disprove them. Living in Pre-Islamic Arabia and Egypt gave her the chance to see histories greatest tales, too many to delve into. As she sat at the bar sipping her drink, Anouk saw fangbangers eying her, but she would never oblige. Humans who preyed on vampires oft disguised themselves as those who fawn over vampires and wish to be kissed by their dark lips; Anouk was in no mood to be drained or begged to feed on one of those pathetic beings. The dancers did their charming act of selling sex on a platform, she looked at them for a few minutes, but quickly lost interest. Anouk looked back at Eric, remembering the words "Speak soon, I hope." Anouk would speak soon, but soon to a vampire varies as time as no meaning for them. She'd just have to wait for him to approach her, it wasn't much like Anouk to strike up a conversation by herself out of nothing or just to hear her own voice.

"Remember what I told you. I hate repeating myself. I don't speak just to hear myself talk, what I say goes, as long as you are in area five," Eric noted sternly to young vampire. She had an air of impatience and he needed to make it clear who was in charge.
Eric noticed another vampire make her presence known and she waited patiently for her turn. She was another brunette, which at the moment Eric was grateful for. Any glimmer of blonde hair at this moment would just bring potent memories of Scarlett.
"How may I help you?" he asked as the younger vampire had left leaving the brunette and him alone-

Rose watched as the young female vampire nodded to her, and with a quick nod back she was off out the door. She turned to face Eric with a smile on her face and again nodded in recognition of his position.
"Sheriff, I am here tonight to let you know of my presence within your area. I am Rose Noble and have taken up residence at the Living Dead Hotel."

Pam slipped away from the front door after hearing Eric's arrival. As usual she was always glad to see him, he was her maker. She noticed the bevvy of beautiful vampires gathered at his feet. Pam noticed his distress and swiftly made her approach. "Eric, my appologies for my tardiness. I should have been at your side much sooner." She arched an eyebrow at the throng of vampires still clustered. "What do you need from me and it shall be done." The group was getting tighter and it took every ounce of will power she had to not cause a scene. Eric would have every reason to punish her. "Are these vampires bothering you?" She really wanted to talk to him about Dallas and the fellowship but she couldn't discuss such matters in front of strangers.

"Sheriff, I am here tonight to let you know of my presence within your area. I am Rose Noble and have taken up residence at the Living Dead Hotel."
"Welcome to area five. Play by the rules and don't make your name too well known to me and we should get along just fine." Eric nodded curtly, his eyes piercing hers. What was up with all these new vampires taking a residence in his area. Something must have happened when he had been in Dallas to prompt this.
As he was conversing with Rose, Pam made her entrance to the club. She was late which annoyed him.
"You're late," he said to her as she approached. Tonight he had zero desire to get scolded by her. Sometimes he wondered who was the maker and who was the makee in their relationship.
"They are keeping me entertained, don't you worry about it Pam. We have things to discuss, but later," Eric said giving her one of his patented smirks. It was true he needed to fill Pam in on the happenings of Dallas but that could wait for now.
