As Eric was courteously replying to Rose she noticed someone else walk in and talk quietly with him. This must be his second-in-command. Rose smiled at Eric and looked at the new vampire and realised immediately this was the vampire she had seen in Merlotte's How interesting.
Dipping her head to acknowledge her Rose smiled.
"Thank you for your hospitality and I'll follow your rules."
Rose turned lightly on her heels, took a seat close to the dance floor and signalled for a waitress.

Pam grinned at him. She felt relief at his return and was irritated at all the new vampires. "For some reason Eric you are very popular as of late. Everyone wants some of you...not that they wouldn't. We have had several inccidents over the period of time that you have been gone. One of which needs your attention as soon as you can spare the time. I have suffered a great insult from a shifter." Pam sneered at the word. They were beneath them and it was repulsive to think of. "Also Stan was in here the other night looking for you. Perhaps it was to tie up some things from the Dallas situation?" She could care less about Stan and was ready for some payback. Pam had told the vampire that his shifter would probably just have to owe them a favor but she could never tell with Eric especially in the mood he appeared to be in tonight. "Do you need a True Blood or maybe something a little fresher in the back room?"

As she finished her drink, she didn't ask for another, but instead pulled out some money and paid the barkeep, looking over at the young vampire that was recently speaking with Eric. Anouk felt she had an air about her, something intelligent and classy. "I'd like to pay for that woman's drink over there." She nodded her head towards Rose, before looking back at her and smiling. Rose reminded Anouk of herself when she was younger, much younger actually, she wasn't usually this kind to strangers, buying them drinks and whatnot.

As the waitress brought over Rose's drink she noticed the older vampire that had been talking to Eric before her. She seemed to be looking at Rose and smiling, at that point the waitress placed her drink in front of her and informed Rose that her drink had already been paid for courtesy of...the older vampire. Rose turned and smiled dipping her head slightly to acknowledge the compliment, she also moved her hand to indicate the vacant seat opposite her if she so inclined to join her. Rose wouldn't mind meeting some people around here.

Eric watched Rose go and then concentrated on his second in command.
"For some reason Eric you are very popular as of late. Everyone wants some of you...not that they wouldn't. We have had several inccidents over the period of time that you have been gone. One of which needs your attention as soon as you can spare the time. I have suffered a great insult from a shifter."
"Sounds interesting Pam, but another time. I am in no mood for this right now. I have a mission for you, something of extreme urgency," he said, his voice heavy. He hoped she would accept it without much backtalk, he wasn't in the mood to explain himself to her.
"Also Stan was in here the other night looking for you. Perhaps it was to tie up some things from the Dallas situation?"
"Let him look for me. With any luck, he won't find me anytime soon. He's a buffoon," Eric stated uninterest in the activities of Godrick's secong in command.
"Do you need a True Blood or maybe something a little fresher in the back room?"
"I am fine for now. This mission is more important as of now."

Pam pouted a little at his lack of interest. She wanted some vengence or a snarl. Even a low growl would have been fine. She rolled her eyes at the thought of the little shifter not being punished promptly and knew she would laugh in her face if she found out. Eric was looking at her expectantly and with irritation. He hated to be kept waiting. "Yes my master, what mission may I complete for you?" To say the least it would make the evening less boring. Perhaps she would be able to see Sookie. That cheered her immensly.

"Yes my master, what mission may I complete for you?"
"Good girl. Do this for me and we'll handle whatever shifter problem you had earlier," he said, using a soothing voice. He didn't need her throwing a tantrum when he most desperately needed her to complete a mission for him.
"I want you to find Scarlett Fitzgerald and spy on her for me. I want to know where she is at the moment, what she's doing and what she has been doing for the past 109 years. Can you do this for me?" Eric asked, hoping she would just say yes and leave it at that.

Pam pursed her lips. Well pooh, this wasn't what she was thinking at all. She tried hard to not look put out but it was nearly impossible. If she could sigh Pam would have. "Scarlett Fitzgerald? Where exactly would I be going and how long do I need to go there?" He would be upset at the questions because she should go blindly with out question but tonight she just wasn't in the mood. "What do you need with her?"

Seeing the young one motion the seat across from her was empty, Anouk thought it over for a moment. She could leave her uneventful post and engage in conversation, or stay here, doing nothing. She chose the first option. Getting off the stool slowly, she walked over to Rose, smiling and taking a seat across from her. "So, enjoying your drink?"
((Crappy short post, sorry))

Rose watched as Anouk crossed the room and took a seat with her.
"So, enjoying your drink?"
Smiling Rose looked at her drink and replied, [red]"Yes, thank you for your generosity. Have you been here long?"[/red]
As nice as it is I do miss how you could feel the humans blood pulse down your throat. As Rose looked at this vampire she could almost smell how ancient she was.

Seeing the enjoyment in someone's eyes was a rare sight ever since she left Amsterdam in 1905, but it was something Anouk enjoyed very much. "It's not a problem." Anouk smiled again, letting her eyes wander every few seconds around the bar. "And I actually just arrived a few days ago, from New Orleans. The hustle and bustle of the big city started to slightly annoy me, so I came North for something a little quieter." Rose reminded her of someone: Fatimah. There have been women throughout her life that were like her daughter, but this one was just eerie. The cheekbones, the hair, her lips and eyes, all brought back memories of her daughter. It almost brought blood to her eyes. Well, almost.

Ahmose noticed Eric sitting on his throne. He better go show himself before Eric found out he was here on his own. He walked over to the throne and there were lots of people, vampires and humans. But you see Ahmose is very old. He walked over to the crowd.
"I am here for one reason and one reason completly. That reason is to find my Strange One and bring her home. I will leave when I am successful. If I don't find this small town life comforting." He said this to the Sheriff of Area 5 and the Sheriff only. He ignored all the Fang bangers around him.

Rose felt Anouk watch her, almost look through her if it were at all possible. She was enjoying her company, sometimes it was nice to sit and have small talk. "I have never been one for large cities myself, I only ever went to stay hidden, but now there is no need for that. I also needed to get out on my own, a place of my own."
If Rose was still human she knew she would have blushed, she was about to say too much and had caught herself in time. She had come here to try and forget that and get along with the humans. So she refocused and remembered to shift slightly to appear less eerie to any nearby people whose blood actually flowed swiftly through them.

For the first time in a long while, Anouk actually enjoyed this somewhat mindless chatter. Anouk sensed something odd in Rose, a verbal slip up of sorts? She chose to ignore it, and keep talking. "Ah, you would have loved old Madrid. Nothing like cities now, it was livable. Of course, the plague sailors brought back wasn't so, comforting, but Spanish blood could put a fire in even the coldest vampires heart." Anouk chuckled a bit, looking over at Eric for a second, making a notion that maybe that old soul could use a drink from a Spanish Fly. When she mentioned getting out on her own, Anouk knew all about that. "Yes, being independent is quite a feeling, though when you can't work cash gets a little tight, and now that True Blood has been on the shelves it's a little tighter." Anouk smiled, it was her stale attempt at humor. She wouldn't dare ask about her maker releasing her or talk about her own maker, it wasn't appropriate conversation for two strangers to have honestly. As Rose began to unwind a bit, it made Anouk herself feel a bit more comfortable also, something to melt that chilly disposition of hers she's had for quite some time to those she had no business with.

Rose was sure Anouk hadn't noticed anything strange, so leaning back slightly she listened to this old vampire talk. Spain was somewhere Rose had never ventured, in 400 odd years she had never headed that far south of what is now Europe. She couldn't even remember why, though she was sure she could come up with a reason if the thought about it. Rose smiled when it was clear Anouk was trying to make some humour, thought it took her a while to get it. Most vampires didn't have any sense of humour and this enamored Rose to Anouk.
"The plague? Yes though I seem to remember it being easier to conceal those we took back then. So the Spanish are as hot blooded as they say?"
