Curiosity. It killed the cat. This was her first time here, and she questioned herself why she didn't come sooner, or even why she decided tonight was a good night to come. According to her star chart, something was in the air - and her tarot cards all pointed that it was here. Central location and all that, Brandy and her cards had a very intense relationship.
As she thought of this she took a seat at the bar, slender digits tapped against the polished surface as the music pulsated in her ears. She had got in easy enough, but she could feel so many eyes on her. She, after all, was untouched and clearly did not belong to anybody.
She tucked her hair behind her ear, the only clear sign on her body that she was a witch was the pentacle necklace she wore that dangled between her cleavage. What the hell was she thinking?

Pam had been getting ready to leave for the weekend. Eric was sending her on a little task and unfortunately she wasn't sure how long it would take. Pam had almost made it through the back door when she noticed the new girl sitting at the bar, almost as if she was scared stiff but wouldn't budge because she had something to prove. Pam loved it when they had a little fight to them. Gave a little something extra to their character. Plus it wasn't as fun if they just sat there and took it. Pam looked at her watch and thought she had maybe an hour to spare, what she was getting ready to do would be tedious and boring so she might as well take advantage of the fun opportunity she had now. Pam noticed the necklace dangling from the girls neck and narrowed her eyes. Her first reaction was always suspicion when it came to new things and Pam's trust wasn't easily earned. However she wasn't in a fighting mood and with Eric back in town it was a relief. "Hello little one. How are you doing this fine evening? I see you have exquisit taste in jewelery." Pam reached out to touch but the drew back. You could never tell what would happen with witches.

"Hello little one. How are you doing this fine evening? I see you have exquisit taste in jewelery."
The voice was feminine, sultry and dangerous - as expected from a vampire. So someone had noticed her and when caramel hues sized up the woman Brandy felt her cheeks flush. The woman was beautiful.
"Uh, hello. And thank you, this thing?"
She saw Pam reach for it and then change her mind. It was obvious, Brandy knew that witches and vampires tended not to get along. This was what made Brandy stand up, and casually unclasp the necklace so that Pam could hold it.
"I mean no threat, maam' here, you can hold it if you like. It is white gold, not silver, so it won't bind you. My mother gave me a silver one when I was 3 and I exchanged for a white-gold when I was 10. She never knew the difference."
Brandy knew that the next question that was probably going to be asked was what she was doing here, and to be honest with herself as she looked around - she noticed nobody was looking at her anymore with Pam around.
"You must be important here, the others have stopped staring at me like they want to eat me. My name is BB, yes I'm a solo witch, but I am not here for any other reason than my own curiosity. And because my .. cards.. told me to be."
Now, she probably sounded a little crazy.

This witch was very different. She was offering her this necklace and acting like she had no intention of hurting Pam. This was unsatisfactory.
"Your cards told you to come. That is very interesting indeed....yes you are no longer their lunch because they think that you are going to be mine."
Pam smiled at the little witch with fangs bared and took in a deep whiff of her scent. "Tell me little one, have you been to Bon Temps recently?"

"Your cards told you to come. That is very interesting indeed....yes you are no longer their lunch because they think that you are going to be mine."
"Well, it was because I had something to prove. The coven I was in shunned me out because I supported Vampire rights, but they called me a hypocrite because I've never actually been involved with vampires. So I am here to prove them wrong."
Even Brandy had to admit, she found Pam just a wee bit intimidating... especially when her teeth came out!
And was she.. smelling her?
"Tell me little one, have you been to Bon Temps recently?"
"uh.... um.. yeah... is that bad?"
Maybe coming here wasn't such a good idea after all...

"No sweetling, there is nothing wrong with going to Bon Temps, it is just a most unusual place to visit. Tell me have you met Sookie Stackhouse? We are quite friendly."
Pam didn't touch the necklace, the item still could be cursed. Pam just couldn't trust a witch. It went against her nature.
"You are a vampire rights activist? You have never hung around vampires before? I could see why they would call you a hypocrite. Tell me sweetling, would you still be in favor of vampires if I told you I have killed over 1500 people with out thought. Would you still want me to live?"
Pam touched the bar and her drink of choice appeared in front of her. Eric was going to be so angry with her for not leaving right away. Pam pursed her lips and then decided that she would take whatever punishment he would give her. This little witch was suddenly very interesting and worth getting to know. Especially if she knew Sookie.

"No sweetling, there is nothing wrong with going to Bon Temps, it is just a most unusual place to visit. Tell me have you met Sookie Stackhouse? We are quite friendly."
Brandy noticed that Pam didn't touch the necklace, which in all honesty didn't bother her. She put the necklace back on, without a second thought, and thought for a moment about the woman's question.
"Sookie? No, I think I would remember meeting a girl which such an unique name. Bon Temps isn't that bad, but they don't have such an.. exotic establishment as this one"
"You are a vampire rights activist? You have never hung around vampires before? I could see why they would call you a hypocrite. Tell me sweetling, would you still be in favor of vampires if I told you I have killed over 1500 people with out thought. Would you still want me to live?"
"Well, thank you for now scaring me $hit-less maam'. I prefer not to be 1501, but as far as wanting you to live - it is not my place to have such feelings either way. What makes the hypocrite are the people who feel they have something to prove by 'rising' against your kind. Even more so, the very witches who feel they have something to prove now not only because they are afraid - but because they have power. I don't want to be like that."
Brandy paused for a moment. She didn't want to bore the vampire all night with ranting, but Brandy now was curious to meet Sookie and find out why someone could intrigued a vampire so much.
"I don't want to fear your kind. I want to respect your kind. Human's are so afraid of death, and they are so hypocritical and weak as a whole. I have no desire to become one of you, I was given a different path, but that doesn't mean I am going to jump on the 'we hate vampires' bandwagon either. You may scare the crap out of me, but I think you are beautiful."

"Tsk, such a shame, I am certain that Eric would be very pleased if I turned a witch. Sadly, I will not kill you ever. We are trying to mainstream you know." Pam smiled at the young woman. "I must say for you to be in Bon Temps and not know Sookie is very strange and also very disappointing."
Pam drank some True Blood and set her chin in her hand. She was still troubled to have to find this Scarlett woman and it was almost enough to depress her.
"I suppose I know how you feel. I am in a similar position at the moment. For some reason I feel annoyed that we share a bond." Pam licked the left over blood on her lips. What was the world coming to that she had something in common with a witch.

"Tsk, such a shame, I am certain that Eric would be very pleased if I turned a witch. Sadly, I will not kill you ever. We are trying to mainstream you know."
"Well, if the need ever arises, I'll give you the honors. For now though - I guess I'm happy. And you say 'witch' like it is a dirty word. If I didn't know how close-minded most of us are I might of been offended."
"I must say for you to be in Bon Temps and not know Sookie is very strange and also very disappointing."
Still, as Pam talked about Sookie, it made Brandy realize that Sookie was probably the "ONE" to know back in Bon Temps. She made a point of tracking the girl down when she made it back home.
"Well, I have only been in Bon Temps for two days. If she is that much of a household name I will be making it a point to get to know her."
"I suppose I know how you feel. I am in a similar position at the moment. For some reason I feel annoyed that we share a bond."
Well, Pam was honest at least. Now came the part where Brandy decided if she wanted the conversation to continue, or if she didn't want to hold up Pam any longer.
"I like your honesty. Not a unique treat in anyone. I suppose I should be leaving, I would rather not be around when your gone - I imagine there is probably one or two staggered in here that don't... respect the line. For lack of a better word... "
At this time, she couldn't think of a different word.
"It was a pleasure, on my side at least, to meet you. I am sure we will meet again, maybe in a time you might even need.. my services.'
Boy, did that ever feel weird to say. And suddenly Brandy had regretted saying it - who knew what kind of trouble that was going to get her into.
Balls, too late to take that back.

Pam laughed at the young woman. "There is no need to rush off, I am interested in learning about you and your vampire rights." Pam finished off the bottle of True Blood and tapped for another. She didn't have to wait long thank goodness.
"I like your honesty. Not a unique treat in anyone. I suppose I should be leaving, I would rather not be around when your gone - I imagine there is probably one or two staggered in here that don't... respect the line. For lack of a better word... "
Pam still kept her smile. "I have no reason to be dishonest. If you don't like what I say you shouldn't ask me my opinion. As for the rest, if anyone were to hurt you in here there would be a very high price to pay that doesn't just include money." Pam pointed up at the sign that stated Fangtasia's rules.
"Whether or not you are a witch you will still be protected by the rules, unless of course you break them..." Pam winked at the little witch before taking another sip of True Blood.

"There is no need to rush off, I am interested in learning about you and your vampire rights."
"Really? Are you sure? I just don't like to keep people waiting unnecessarily. I guess it is a weakness of mine."
It probably had a lot to do with why she was still single. She usually never stayed around long enough for a guy to keep tabs on her. It was her own fault, really, it made people think she just wasn't interested.
"I have no reason to be dishonest. If you don't like what I say you shouldn't ask me my opinion. As for the rest, if anyone were to hurt you in here there would be a very high price to pay that doesn't just include money."
"oh. Well, I'll be d*mned. I didn't even notice that sign before. I think I could like this place."
"Whether or not you are a witch you will still be protected by the rules, unless of course you break them..."
She winked, and Brandy blushed. Nervously she was quick to change the subject.
"How long have you been a vampire for? And, if you don't mind me asking, why is everyone, well, holding such a respect for you? I mean, if your a queen or something i feel like I should be kneeling for you or ... something..."
Brandy made a habit of watching others, and their body language - much like she did Jason's at the bar, or the blond vampire that tried to pick him up. Body language told what the lips tended not too. It was the reason why Brandy usually opened her mouth before having the chance to show with her body what she had wanted to say.

Pam nearly spit out of her True Blood. If only Sophie could hear this little witch...they would have a laugh together!
"No, I am no queen, I am merely a second of the area. I have license by my sheriff to help keep the peace when he is unable to. There is much respect for me because I am a vampire who knows their place and has given undying loyalty and service to my maker. Many vampires ask to be released from their makers power over them...I know how to appreciate this gift that was given me..."
Pam wiped the corners of her mouth. "As for my age, that is irrelevant. You should just know that I am old and still look amazing for my age..." Pam giggled at her. That would surely come back to bite her later.

So, vampires lived by a code? It was intriguing to listen to Pam. Human's should of lived by the code, but there was more corruption that Brandy could see from the 'fellowship of the sun' compared to any other group in the world.
"As for my age, that is irrelevant. You should just know that I am old and still look amazing for my age..."
Brandy shared in the smile, she had to agree with the woman. Vampires were intriguing, Pam had to be one of the most intriguing one she had ever met - and not just because she was a vampire, but because she was a woman.
"I've heard many different things. Some people think a vampire doesn't have feelings, that all they want to do is kill and feed. But, I find it hard to believe. You were human once, surely all vampires are capable of love?"

Pam thought about this for a moment. "I remember that I was in love as a human once but that feeling doesn't seem to be anything more than a memory."
The closest thing to love that Pam had ever probably felt to love was when she had first been with Eric. "Tell me young one, have you ever been in love? I think fair is fair..."

"I remember that I was in love as a human once but that feeling doesn't seem to be anything more than a memory."
She realized what a silly question it was now. Of course vampires felt love, so did werewolves and fairies and whatever mystical creature may of existed.
"Tell me young one, have you ever been in love? I think fair is fair..."
"You know... to be completely honest with you, and with myself Pam. I think I am a little now."
She smiled for a moment, and shook the thought away. She would mention who it was, but she doubt Pam would know Sam Merlotte.
"Well, I really should get going. And not because I don't want to waste your time anything - I really should be getting ready for work in the afternoon. It was a pleasure to met you, Ms Pam. Maybe I will come back again"
At that moment she had stood up, but not before she made sure Pam didn't need anything else addressed.
