Sookie was checking on the order, which was up and ready. "Why thank ya BB. You are too sweet. We are a special team." She replied as she handed the order to BB, who was talking to Sam. There was some chemistry there. Sam was being his reluctant self, trying to hide and be secret about feeling something for BB. Which given his history, being secretive and reclusive was just a given. Hiding a special power was something very difficult, and something you never really got used too.
Sookie handed the order to BB and decided, given her good mood, to make Sam suffer a bit. She did not mind him with another woman, since, well, she was with a vampire. Her and Sam had had their fling, so it was over, save for some small emotions always there and always gonna be there. "Sam Merlotte. Why dontcha just take a break for once? Sit down and eat something, or hell, have a drink. Sign them paper later!" She said with a bright smile. Maybe something would come of this. Something good.

Sam smiled at Sookie awkwardly. Was she picking up on stuff? It wouldn't be the first time and no doubt the last. His mind was often closed to her due to his twin-nature, but every now and then thoughts, feelings, emotions would slip through. He shrugged that off. Why shouldn't he enjoy BB's company? He was single and as far as he knew so was she. It was just a drink, they weren't getting married or anything. He felt himself cough a little and he gave Sookie a smile that implied he'd get her back, later. "Sure Sookie. Could you get me coke please? Might as well take the offer up if you're both gonna insist." Sam threw Sookie another look with a matching smile. I am so gonna get you for thatSam pulled out a chair and sat next to BB, feeling all the eyes on the bar on him. He leaned over the table, "maybe I should get those papers and we can kill two birds with one stone?" his tone was questioning. The ball was in BB's court. ((OOC: Italic Bold is something you can pick up on Sookie ))

Watching Sookie and Sam back and forth was, amusing, to say the least. Did they date before? Maybe he had interest in her? It was alright, Brandy tended not to dwell on too many questions. After all, there was so much she didn't know about Sam that the last thing she wanted to do was pry.
"Sam Merlotte. Why dontcha just take a break for once? Sit down and eat something, or hell, have a drink. Sign them paper later!"
Brandy couldn't help but to smirk, even Sookie was encouraging him to sit down. Finally, after a moment, he agreed. He finally took a seat and all she could was grin at him.
"Sure Sookie. Could you get me coke please?'
It wasn't hard to tell Sam was a bit uncomfortable. But Brandy understood why, after all - the whole bar was staring at them!
"maybe I should get those papers and we can kill two birds with one stone?"
"If you like. Then that makes this look more like a casual business lunch.. and less like a date"
Heh. Oh, what a smirk.

Sookie smiled as she saw Sam finally take some time to himself. It was obvious there was some kind of attraction with these two and Sookie was just fine with it. Sam deserved some things, like time off, a vacation and maybe love. "A Coke is all! Sure can do, coming right up!" She said to him as she caught something from him. He was gonna get her. At that, she looked right at Sam with a big ol smile, showing all her teeth, from ear to ear. "Im sure Sam!" She said, a bit quietly as she turned and went to the drink fountain. BB was a sweet girl, something about her was not normal but not in a bad way, more in a need to find out more way. The girl had something supe related. And Sookie was sure that BB knew about Sookie's little ability, but saying it aloud was hard.

"If you like. Then that makes this look more like a casual business lunch.. and less like a date"
It was a blatant tease. But Sam wasn't biting, not yet anyway. For appearances sake he decided to get the papers. It would cool off the gossips for a bit at least. "I'll be one sec" he said and excused himself from the table and walked into his office.
Getting the necessary forms from his filing cabinet and grabbing a pen, Sam headed back out to Brandy's table. He smiled, "Sorry about that." he sat back down at the table and placed the forms in front of him laying the pen across the papers.

Brandy couldn't help but to be amused with Sam. Besides, she liked Sookie - she just didn't know why Pam was so interested in her but hell, enough time in Bon Temp's and Brandy would learn eventually.
She was a little surprised that Sam actually went into his office to come back with his papers. She could only shrug and return her attention to Sookie as she went to grab Sam his coke.
"Sorry about that."
She waved off the apology, wondering why she couldn't take her eyes off the blond haired girl. Something special about her, she drew the attention of the room - even Brandy! And Brandy usually had her eyes on Sam and no one else in the room.
"She sure is pretty. And sweet as a Georgia peach. How long have you known her for Sam?"
She was about to tease him about having competition, but she could tell in their interactions that they were just friends.

"She sure is pretty. And sweet as a Georgia peach. How long have you known her for Sam?"
Sam looked awkward at Brandy's innocent question. Why did he feel this way? It wasn't like he and BB were involved. She was sure attractive and seemed to like him. But there was no attatchment or commitment so he was baffled at his hesitation over the question.
"Known Sookie almost 6 years now." he began, quickly peering over his shoulders at the blonde waitress, than back to Brandy. "She's a sweet girl and would do anything for ya. Best waitress I ever had too."
Sam half expected Arlene to come blazing out of nowhere and smack him upside the head. He tapped the papers absent mindedly. "You can sign these whenever you're ready. Not wanting you to rush your lunch or anything." he flashed her a brilliant smile.

"Known Sookie almost 6 years now."
Wow, that was a long time to know someone, Brandy thought. But it was more than 'known' it was a 'have been friends with' sort of body expression.
"She's a sweet girl and would do anything for ya. Best waitress I ever had too."
"Well gosh Sam, you make me want to date her now"
She had given Sam's arm a playful shove across the table, and then returned her attention to the papers laid out in front of him. Oh, those were papers for her, she wasn't really paying attention. All she found amusing was the fact he was so worried people would talk..
Brandy really didn't know what small town Bon Temp's was like.
"You can sign these whenever you're ready. Not wanting you to rush your lunch or anything."
Brandy reached for his pen and pulled the papers over to her. She didn't even really read what they said - she just wrote wherever she saw a place to put her name.
She trusted him, after all. With a smile like that, it was hard not to trust him.
"I hope I didn't just sign anything that says on the fourth day of every month I have to clean the outhouses by the duplexes or something... I might have to divorce this contract then Mr. Sam Merlotte"

Sookie was busy making sure all the things from last night were finished. That new barmaid sure was not cutting it, but most didn't. It seemed only her and Arlene were meant to work there and they had for a long time. Filling the salt shakers, she overheard BB and Sam talking. Sam was talking sweet things bout Sookie which made BB want to marry Sookie or something. So, she laughed outloud alittle. Finishing up the salt, she decided to make sure all her tables were good. Well, all meaning just the two. She checked on some visitors, and they were OK. Then headed back to Sam and BB on their little working date.
"Yall OK? Need anything?" She asked with a smile, trying to get a listen to one of their minds. It seemed they were in pre stages of dating and Sookie wanted to know what one of her best friends was up too? Dating or not? She wanted to know if he was happy? So, she listened!

"I hope I didn't just sign anything that says on the fourth day of every month I have to clean the outhouses by the duplexes or something... I might have to divorce this contract then Mr. Sam Merlotte"
Sam laughed and waved a hand. "Oh no, nothing like that. It's just forms to make you're lease official. That's all."
He sat there for a moment, taking in Brandy's beauty. It wasn't meant in a lecherous way. He just couldn't help himself. She was absolutely stunning and had a wicked sense of humour to boot.
Am I really over Sookie? Sam's thoughts were startled as Sookie came out of seemingly nowhere.
"Yall OK? Need anything?"
Sam looked up at her. He was glad that there were times Sookie couldn't hear anything from him but Shifter static. But how much had she picked up on? "Er, no I'm good Chere. Thanks." he turned to Brandy. "Would you like anything else? A drink top up or anything?" he smiled "On the house."

"Oh no, nothing like that. It's just forms to make you're lease official. That's all."
An official lease eh? Brandy had already signed it so she just took the time to lean back in her chair and casually look toward Sookie. The blond girl seemed to light of the room, it made Brandy just a bit intimidated - this was a girl who had something special about her. She wondered, very casually, if Sam had some feelings for her. It wouldn't be too surprising if he had.
"Would you like anything else? A drink top up or anything? On the house."
Brandy quirked her eyebrow.
"On the house Sam? I would rather have something in the house"
Brandy glanced up at Sookie with a warm smile and politely shook her head.
"I am certainly fine Sookie, thanks. I have taken advantage enough already"
"Though, I wouldn't mind taking advantage of Sam in other ways...."

Sookie stood there, doing her job, which they were making pretty easy. A sudden flood of thoughts entered Sookie's mind. First Sam, then Brandy. "What!?" Sookie blurted aloud in response to Sam's thought. She did not mean too, this tended to happen sometimes if she wasn't careful. But hell, a telepath could only control herself so much. Sam wondering if he was still over Sookie? Sookie and Sam had a brief fling but Sam always cared about her and she him, but never in that way. Her being with Bill, Sookie thought it would have solidified everything. Then Brandy thinking how she wanted to take advantage of Sam. Though it was just a carnal sexual sense, Sookie could not help but feel a flare of protectiveness. Could Brandy be using Sam? Who knew?
"I'm sorry, I thought I heard someone call my name is all. Man, I need to get more sleep!" She apologized as she looked around to find something else to do. "Well, if yall don't need nothin right now. Just holler at me. Brandy, you might want to take advantage of Sam...I mean Sam's kindness. He don't give things out on the house often cause in a town of drinking gossipers, he'd be outta business." Man, Sookie was really putting her foot in her mouth today.

"What!?"
Sookie seemed startled by something. Something in his head? Oh crap. Sam's face flushed a little, as he realised just what she must have picked up. He was broadcasting it that strongly?
"I'm sorry, I thought I heard someone call my name is all. Man, I need to get more sleep!"
Sookie was desperately trying to cover her @ss. She no doubt picked something up from Brandy as well. He'd pick her brain later, but it wouldn't be right to ask her to tell him what was going on inside someone's brain. Something that was meant to be private. Not that Sookie could help it. It wasn't something she could control too well, especially if the thoughts were clear and strong.
"Well, if yall don't need nothin right now. Just holler at me. Brandy, you might want to take advantage of Sam...I mean Sam's kindness. He don't give things out on the house often cause in a town of drinking gossipers, he'd be outta business."
Sam's eyes raised as she stammered over her words and absolute need to get away from the pair as quickly as possible. "You okay Chere? Maybe you need to take a break, I'll get Arlene to cover your tables." Sam gave her an insistent look, the kind of look that said. Not a suggestion.

"What!?"
Brandy jumped in her seat, Sookie's outburst was so sudden and unexpected she found herself looking at the girl curiously.
"I'm sorry, I thought I heard someone call my name is all. Man, I need to get more sleep!"
Wow, this girl was stranger than Brandy thought. But what Sookie said next really threw Brandy for a loop.
"Well, if yall don't need nothin right now. Just holler at me. Brandy, you might want to take advantage of Sam...I mean Sam's kindness. He don't give things out on the house often cause in a town of drinking gossipers, he'd be outta business."
"Holy crap Sookie, did you just read my mind? I was just thinking I wanted to take advantage of Sam. It was purely sexual, mind you, but.. did you read my mind? Seriously?"
Out it came. Open mouth, insert foot. Not only did Brandy just admit in front of Sookie, and probably whoever was in earshot that she wanted to sleep with Sam, but she also accused Sookie of being able to read minds.
Oh crap. It was the worst possible moment of all time, and even as Sam suggested Sookie take a break she could tell this was not going to go over well. She sighed and excused herself from the table - the only place she was heading was outside, to get some much needed fresh air.
D@mn, she hated herself sometimes. She might as well of had "crazy stalker who wants to f*ck the bartender" in flashing lights above her head.

Sookie just was not on top of her game today. Or maybe they were just both emoting so much she could not help but hear it all. Maybe they had such a strong connection or feelings for eachother that it just spilled out like a glass when you drop it. Seeing Sam's look, Sook knew that it was not a suggestion. He just wanted her to get away from them as to not let things slip anymore. "Alright Sam, I think I do need a bit of a break." She said with a smile as she looked at them both. "Ill be in the back if ya need me. Ill take my thirty!" She announced as she just walked away, in hopes to not hear anything else.
