Alcide had high tailed it to his condo in Shreveport, knowing that Debbie would be waiting for him there. However, he had a weapon against her--a present. A present in the form of a fairly expensive dress that his first witch, Kyle, had approved of. He hoped it would work against her verbal artillery and her eye-ball melee. He pulled into his lot at 9:30 PM. Alcide wasted no time jumping from his truck, grabbing the dress, and scurrying up the stairs.
One of his tenants smiled at him, knowing Debbie, he nodded to the tenant and continued on his way. Even his neighbors knew of his plight. He took a deep breath once he was standing outside of his condo door. He quickly unlocked it and entered, only to see Debbie standing in the doorway.
What did you say to a psychopathic girlfriend maybe ex-girlfriend who could smell the scent of a woman days after anything even happened? The fact was that nothing did happened, they went their merry way, however, he had been around her long enough for her intoxicating scent to be radiating from his clothes and his very being.
"Debbie..." he quietly murmured, looking at her with slight fear in his eyes.
He clutched the dress in his hands, as if ready to use it as a shield if Debbie was going to be extra cruel tonight.

Debbie was seating on Alcide's couch waiting for his arrival. When she heard a car she walked up to the window and saw Alcide come out with what looked like a present box. One she hopped was for her and if it wasn't then he will regret it. She walked up behind the doorway and began to smell a girl she never smelt before. 'Could it be on Alcide' she thought to herself. And once the door swung open she knew it was him.
"YOU BASTARD" she sceamed at the top of her lungs. "YOU CHEATING BASTARD. I CAN'T BELIVE YOU WOULD DO THAT TO ME. I HATE YOU." She screamed more drastically. She grabbed the box out of his hand. "This better be for me and expensive and pretty or else," she said before ripping it open to reveal the most beautiful dress she had ever seen. She looked at Alcide, "Is this what you were gonna use to make me somehow forget the scents I smell on you right this moment? Did you think I would be so shallow to stop feeling hurt. I trusted you Alcide and now I don't think I can anymore." She said soflty. Even if this wasn't true she made it seem like it was and to make it even more drastic she began to walk into the kitchen. She knew where everything and it took her less then a minute to find the scissors. "Well Alcide I am not so shallow and forgiving. And you were wrong about the dress. I HATE IT MORE THAN I HATE YOU!" Debbie screamed at the top of her lungs and took the shears she found and began to cut the dress apart into little pieces. "Are you sorry Alcide. For cheating on me. For doing something like that to me. This is lower then anything you have ever done."

And the screaming began. Over. And over again. And he listened, with very attentive ears. There was no getting a word in edgewise now. She had started and she wasn't going to stop. Once she had ripped apart the dress he had so carefully picked out for her, he spoke up, his voice quiet but audible.
"Debbie, nothing happened," Alcide shrugged, looking her in the eyes, "if you can't believe me, then I don't know what to do. You know I can't lie to you, Debbie."
His eyes filled with grief as he stared at her. Most men wouldn't take this sort of treatment but Alcide wasn't most men. He was loyal until the day he died. Besides, he didn't have a lot of relationship experience to know this was abuse. He was a man, he could take it.
"Deb, how can I make it up to you?" Alcide questioned extending his hands at his sides.
Really, he didn't know if there was a way. He might sit and listen to the rant or he might not, if she continued. He didn't know. Alcide waited like an abused child to see if his mother would come at him with a whip again.

Debbie looked into Alcide's eyes while he talked. She already knew he wouldn't lie to her. She just really wanted to yell and scream and tear up his dress because he almost and could of cheated.
"I know you can't lie. Did you think I was an idiot?" She looked at him questionably she wasn't going to let him off that easy and he knew it. "You still spent enough time and had to have some contact or her scent wouldn't still be on you. I am not a moron." She said a little less loudly.
"The only way I could forgive you is if you showed me how much more I mean to you then that Sl*t of a Bi**ch you have been hanging with. Also who is she and what all did you do for her scent to be that strong and how long ago was it?" She yelled a few of the words and spoke the others.

Alcide was not one to back down, usually, but when it came to Debbie Pelt... he was a whole different person. Instead of an adult wolf, he was just a baby pup. Over and over again, Debbie was mind raping him. He was powerless to her pressure. When Debbie called Kimberly a horrible insult, he only flinched on the inside, if he showed any sign of remorse for Kimberly, he'd have it big time.
"It was two days ago," Alcide said, trying to avoid saying her name, "I didn't tell her to, but she kissed my cheek."
Why had he even bothered with Kimberly when he knew it would come to this? HE KNEW! But yet he went on with the guise. Yes, it had scored him a great merger with Jared Barter's company but was it worth it now that Debbie's extreme behavior was onto Kimberly? He didn't know, he rolled it over in his head, and he just didn't know if it was right. How could he ever tell Kimberly without scaring her away?
"And she's a witch..." Alcide trailed off, as if the words were venom to Debbie's ears.
He didn't quite know what was worse, having flirted with another shifter or a witch? Alcide was sure he'd find out in a brief second or two.

"A WITCH. You let a WITCH touch you. You hung out with a WITCH," Debbie screamed at the top of her lungs. "I already knew it wasn't a shifter but I thought it might of been a plain Human. No it was a Witch. Tell me the name of this little WITCH BI**H. NOW!!!"

It would be somewhat destructive to Alcide's integrity if he didn't tell her the name. There was no way to keep secrets from Debbie, he often wondered if she had a telepathic sense to her, but with such extreme behavior, a cool sense came with the territory. It was now or never, he pictured Kimberly in his head with her blond hair and then looked to the ground.
"Her name is Kimberly," Alcide softly spoke, his piercing eyes now losing their luster for life.
What could he do now? He hoped that she wasn't going to do anything, perhaps there was a way to save the southern belle's reputation, maybe even her life. Alcide didn't know much more about her, besides details that wouldn't help Debbie anyhow. He did have her number, but he didn't have it with him, so thankfully that extra scent was completely gone. There was no way she was going to know if he'd gotten her number.
Alcide was still paralyzed with fear, but he forced himself to move to distract the one-way conversation they were having, to ease his tense mind. One foot after the other brought him to the kitchen, where he pretended to nonchalantly take out a Coke and drink it. Was it the right move? He didn't know. Alcide still stared at Debbie with fear burning through his every fiber, trying desperately to contemplate her next move.

Debbie stood there watching Alcide make up his mind. Then she found out the little witchs name. "Excuse me Alcide I need to make a phone call." Then she walked into the bathroom and pulled out her cell phone and called her mother. "Mom, I was wondering if you ever heard of a Kimberly. She's a witch and she's in Shreveport at the moment. She was messing with Alcide and I want her to pay." Debbie told her mother with a very harsh tone. "Actually I have. She lived here for a little while then left. Um...I am not sure where you could find her but I will find out and call you later." Debbie's mom said into the phone. "Thank you mother,"Debbie slamed her phone shut and marched out to Alcide. "Your witch will be delt with soon enough. For now, you must apologize and show me how much more I mean to you. After you take a shower and wash those clothes. And if I ever smell that scent again. I will kill you and her. Do you understand Alcide?" She looked at him. "You better understand."

Debbie excused herself for a moment before returning to inform him that something would happen to Kimberly. Oh f**k. This was a face-palm moment, but he didn't perform the movement, instead, he started blankly at her. There was no use showing emotion now. She had already penetrated what he was trying to protect.
She then threatened to kill them both if they were together again. He knew that she couldn't kill him, unless she paid someone too, so he was mostly concerned about poor Kimberly. Alcide didn't really know what witches did yet, but he hoped she'd be strong enough to defend against whatever Debbie had planned.
Alcide was at a loss of words. He cared about Debbie, but he just couldn't bring himself to say the things that were bottled up on the inside.
"Debbie," he tried, "I love you," he lied, "but you know it isn't right to do that. She hasn't done anything..." he slowly spoke.
The kiss on his cheek was accidental, at best, because Kimberly hadn't known he was sort of attached at the moment. He bet she wouldn't have done that otherwise. The only thing on Alcide's mind at the moment was getting the hell outta there and hopefully warning Kimberly.
Something deep inside him stirred him to action, perhaps it was a part of Kimberly living through him, he didn't know. Alcide moved and brushed right past Debbie, hitting her shoulder. He reached his doorway quickly and paused.
"Deb..." Alcide quietly said, "be outta here by morning, I gotta catch my head..."
And with that, he was gone into the night after he closed the door behind him. He ran, very quickly, for such an enormous man. Where he was going, he didn't know, but he knew that he just couldn't speak with Debbie at the moment... not with Kimberly on his mind.

Debbie just stared at Alcide. She would never do anything to harm him. If he wanted this Kimberly alive so be it. Doesn't mean she wouldn't do something to her that made her think twice about Alcide. Then poof Alcide was out the door. Debbie chased after him and caught him before he pulled out. Opened his door and pulled him out. "I wasn't going to kill her. If you think I would do that then leave I don't care."
Debbie was in the mood to do something bad but she wanted Alcide more. "I was going to warn her to stay away and threaten her. That was all. I would never kill another human while I am. And when I do they are accidents. I hate you so much for thinking of me as that kind of person." Tears began to fall down her cheeks. They were real for fear of losing the one man who she truly loved.
"Please Alcide. I love you and I swear on my great grandmother's grave I wont hurt her because I know you have some feelings for her. Let the best woman win. All I want is you. But if you don't want me just tell me. If you love her more then me can you please let me know." Right then Debbie began to cry even more at the thought of losing Alcide forever.

He tried to escape but Debbie caught him before he left, he was expecting her to punch him, so he flinched when she started talking. Usually, this was the time he'd let his guard down, hug her, and tell her everything was going to be okay. Although she was crazy, he at least had an ounce of care for her. He just wished she'd be kind all the time, not at just the right moments...
Alcide gave her the benefit of the doubt and listened, but once she was through, he felt she was lying, "listen, Deb, I-I- would like to stay here right now and make good with you..."
The soft side of him was slowly giving in, he remembered what she did to the dress, he remembered how she threatened the peaceful Kimberly. His fists clenched. He had to go. He couldn't deal with this right now.
"I just gotta go, I gotta go," Alcide couldn't even look her in the eyes as he sat in his truck, he knew that if he did, he'd be pulled back to her.
He launched himself from the truck and faster than a normal man, he raced off into the nearby woods, shifting into a wolf, and moving even faster away. What he would find in the darkness of the woods besides critters, he didn't know, but he needed to speak to someone else--besides Debbie.

Debbie began to get scared. Scared that she would never ever see Alcide again. She lisened as he told her he had to go. When he shifted and ran off, she began to cry. This time they were her real tears. She might be a mean mean creature but doesn't mean she didn't love Alcide that she didn't care if he was happy. T
hen her phone rung and it was her loving mother. "Hi mom," she sobbeed into the phone. "What is wrong Debs."her mother asked in a scared way. Debbie hated when she called her Debs. "Don't call me that and it's me and ALcide. I need to know about Kimberly and I need to know now" Debbie was going to hurt her as much as she hurt Debbie. She is new to Bon Temps and might find her at Fangtasia or Merlotte's. She is very pretty. I will send a picture in a bit. Debbie had the most diabolical plan rolling through her head. "Thanks mom. I think I have got everything I need." She looked outside the window.
It was just about dark and if she wanted to find this Kimberly creature. She walked out of Alcide's house and to her car and drove in the direction of Fangtasia, a bar she never liked.
