Character History:
William Brown - born 1814, smack dab in the center of London, England itself. Only child of his father Rufus & mother Judith, William lived a modest life. His father was a growing Diplomat, whose single desire was to one day claim a seat in the famous and renowned Parliament of the United Kingdoms & his mother Judith was quite the famous seamstress, designing an assortment of Victorian-styled dresses and suits for the Upper-class crowd. Both his mother & father accumulated an above average amount of capital which resulted in the rather large house they lived in. There happened to be about three or four servants who partook in various chores that helped make the families' life the even more comfortable. Even so, the family was as far as people could possible get from being rich and snobbish. They were kind & polite to all, never judging on the amount or money one makes or how big one's estate was. His father and mother were as kind as one could be. Even as fair as believing Human, Vampire and all other supernaturals who were caught in the middle were equal on earth. It was one reason William's father wished to gain a higher rank on the political ladder, in order to Support the legend that is was quite possible that Vampires & other supernatural being existed. Some could of possibly thought the sheer idea was far'fetched and not plausible. The existence of Vampires and Werewolves? It was a joke to many, but for some unknown reason Rufus believe otherwise.
In his younger years, William was fascinated and even jealous of the powers that Vampire's possessed in the stories and such he heard about them. Who wouldn't want immortality, in-human strength & speed? It was as if Vampire's claimed a fragment of God and rewrote the history of the world. Judith, William's mother read him fables and tales of Vampires, Werewolves, & a variety of other almost mythological creatures. He was amazed, almost obsessed with what mysteries the world possessed. William & his friends pretended to be Vampires and would run around at night getting themselves into a load of trouble, he was as ordinary a child could become, yet he was as happy as he could possibly be. As ordinary a life he & his parent's lived, the constant harassment from those who opposed his father's ideals made it hard for William to be in public without being hassled by all who deserted themselves from the idea that Vampires and supernatural creatures and beings ever existed. It was seen as blasphemy, it was against' God's will and therefore was taboo.
As time flowed forward & William reached the age of Fifteen, his father Rufus who'd tried so hard as to make Humans attempt to see that the Idea of a Vampire or a Werewolf was possible. A group of Strict God-loving people ruthlessly killed William's father, their' defense was most likely that they believed Rufus was blurting false accusations about a Myth. A traumatic event that would remain in Will's heart & mind for all eternity. His mother Judith was as well in a state of sorrow and a grief unmatched by any. She at times would lock herself away in her studio & would sew dresses for days upon end, just so she could keep her mind off the death of her husband Rufus. From that point on the loving household that William grew up in turned into a empty husk that no love would return to. William would barely speak to his mother & vice-versa. It truly wasn't the son or mother's fault that they drifted away from one another. It was fate's cruel prank on them, somewhere fate was laughing at them, at their misery.
Again, as time drifted forward, the beautiful white-painted house that William & his parents lived in turned gray & decrepit. The servants who once happily worked for the household abandoned their posts, most likely to find a family who'd actually acknowledge their existence? William and his mother barely spoke to one another. Judith had turned into an almost unrecognizable person. She was old and pretty much emotionless. Either lying in bed all day or sitting in her sewing studio for hours upon hours. William was the age of eighteen, three years had passed since the day his father was murdered. William was attending one of the prestigious schools that was located in the heart of London. He was still sad of his father's once taken life, but no where as near sad as his mother. He figured his father Rufus would want him to live on, instead of dwelling on the past. Even so, the events that had happened those three years ago morphed William into something he once never was. He barely trusted other humans, which was perfectly acceptable considering they were the ones who tore his family limb from limb. William became a dark and sadistic person, barely showing hints of happiness and joy. Instead he'd grin if someone would get hurt, not giving his hand to help them up. Every night he'd sit in bed thinking if his father was crazy for believing in something like a Vampire, or if his father was telling the truth and that Vampires truly did exist. To search for something that may not even of existed? William desired the power to live forever & to remain youthful forever. Who wouldn't?
Again time drifted, William was now twenty-four. The year he was turned from Human to vampire. At one point in mid-winter, William decided it was time for him to leave his home, the home where he'd grown to love Vampires and the myths his Mother had read to him. William took a vast amount of money from his father's inheritance & left his mother money so she could as well survive. The funny thing is that William didn't even say Goodbye to his mother. He loathed her for turning into what she did, and for that he left her without even acknowledging how she must of felt. Now out on the streets with only the clothing on his back & a sack full of money. William was free of his life, and could now pursue the path his father did, to attempt to find if Vampires truly did exist. At this point in time the American Civil war was in it's prime. By frankly it did not interest William the slightest. War was for fools. The pursuit of everlasting life should of been on the minds of all humans, instead of foolish & pointless quarrels that only resulted in the unnecessary deaths of many. If Vampires did in fact exist, they'd be able to change the World that everyone had known. For better, or for worst.
A month of two later, William found himself wandering from pub to pub. Picking up information & stories if others had believed or even better actually SEEN a true in the flesh vampire. He listened to numerous tales of old men, who'd sworn they've seen a Vampire. Most of the stories he heard sounded like the case of a crazy old man mistaking his own shadow as a Vampire or some other beast. As he still tracked forward and attempted to his utmost potential to discover if Vampires truly existed, William met a woman who swore her Husband had turned into a Vampire. The two sat for a few hours in one of the numerous pubs and discussed the events that had taken place that led up to this woman loosing her husband to the night. The woman's Husband left her a note directing her to one of the numerous back ally of the lower-class districts of London. On the note is instructed the wife to meet her in some sort of lounge or bar? If this man was a REAL vampire, maybe William could truly become one..A legend among legends. William was not at all interested in helping the wife at all, but instead ripped the note from her hands and ran swiftly out the door. If the note was correct it'd should lead him right to what he desires most, he had no time to help other with their own dilemmas. A day passed and now it was about eight' O clock, the moon has begin to rise high in the winter sky. William was now located across London, to one of the more dingy areas. Everything seemed to smell of rotten meat and curdled milk. William himself wondered if a Vampire was real, would they really be located in such a spot?
William had reached the beginning of the ally-way that the note instructed the wife to go. He slowly and cautiously walked down in the ally, afraid that some poor group of thugs may attempt to jump him and drain his money dry from his bag. As he approached the sound of people talking, Williams' attention was perked at their voices. Who were they? What were they doing in such a dark & damp place? Was it possible that beyond the ally were real live Vampires? This thought circled through his mind as he still marched forward through the damp ally. The voices had gotten louder and much more distinguished. He was excited and frightened all at once. A surge of emotion he never felt before. Finally reaching the door that was said to be walked though on the tiny parchment of paper he swindled from the poor woman. He stood in front of the door, stiff as a button, he barely even took a breath. He could see candle light illuminating through the bottom crevice of the door & the voices now barely a few steps away. Grasping the doorknob, he pushed it forward to see what awaited him on the other side. When he opened the door the sight of various pale-skinned people crowded the room. Their eyes like the devil himself. William had no idea what exactly was in store for him, but He believed his destiny would unfold in this very dingy place.
He was crippled by both fear and amazement, walking to the farthest table in the room, he took a seat alone. Waiting patiently, he believed this to be the place where the note instructed & the many people in the room to be Vampires in the flesh. Most of the Vampires starred at him quizzicly. What in God's tarnasion was a Human doing in this secret place? A place where only Vampires dwelt. Most of the vampires kept' there distance, but William could hear them whispering into each others ears. William at this point basically shaking in his boots smiled lightly. His father was correct, there really were Vampires. That thought also angered him remembering those who didn't believe him & wound up killing him because he believed in something taboo.
After an hour or so as dawn approached, most of the Vampires had left for the night in order to gain sleep during the oncoming day. Was it a sign that William was not suppose to become a creature of eternity? He hated that he'd done everything in his power only to be ripped from his goal. Just when he was about to pack up and give up on this twisted dream he possessed, A woman, clad in a Victorian red dress reminiscent of his mother's work approached. Her skin as pale as the moon, the hue of her hair was as if she somehow infused fire into the reddish locks. She was gorgeous. A site to behold. She took a seat opposite William. The smirk on her face was unmatched by any devil. A swift noise took place & her fangs erected. This was a vampire. William explained to the unnamed woman his desire & she happily Inclined. She'd be his maker, but there would be NO strings attached. Once the ritual had taken place, Maker & Offspring would part, never to gaze upon the other again. After they took part in conversation, the unnamed women took William & herself back to her "home". After she bit his neck, and drank dry all the blood in his body, she'd take him to his grave where the two would slumber. Halfway through the process he had fainted from blood-loss and was never able to recollect those memories. A day or so later, in the middle of the night, William awoke. Deep in the ground he pushed himself out of the dirt abyss & noticed there was a similar hole next to him where The unnamed women must of left from. He smiled, a smile so content. He was now what he desired.
A vast amount of years had passed. Unknown to all William's whereabouts. No one knew the mysterious life that Will had lived as a vampire nor would any. It now being the dead of summer on a lukewarm night where William takes his first steps into Bon Temps itself. What happens from here it up to fate itself, and shall take place in the near future...
Personality:
When one meets William, they'd most likely be under the perception that he is a polite and kind soul. Quite frankly it's quite the opposite. William is in fact a sadistic-natured Vampire, who'd do anything in his own power to achieve a goal he has his mind set on. Cruel and manipulative, William tends to take pleasure in seeing others in distress. Some may even see that William is quite the intellect & possesses a vast amount of knowledge deep within his brain. William also has a knack for putting himself above others, making himself seem higher, while others inferior. Narcissistic at times, William as well takes great pride in his physical appearance & may attempt to seduce those who are trapped in his allure. Even though he can seem like a real and true Jerk of Jerks, he has a heart, one that can possibly possess love & compassion. He is capable of loving others and showing his true colors to those who have the keen ability to reach farther into his depths. All in all, William is simply William. A Dark & mysterious intellect, who has quite the hard time showing his true feelings to those who actually mean something to him.
Williams' thoughts and ideals on humans are neutral. As long as they treat him with the equality he deserves, he will treat them back with the same. If they do the opposite, William would most likely show deep and grand hatred to the point where he may wind up hurting someone. Williams' thoughts on Vampires and other Supernaturals alike, is simply if they show positive signs he shall show his as well, if not, He will show them his darker side.
At times, William may seem chivalrous and willing to act to save a damsel in distress. A strange trait that he has possessed nearly all his life. He most definitely likes attention from Females, and would act out of the norm to gain that attention.
Future Plans for your character
Quite frankly at the moment I have no absolute plans for William. It should just be interesting to see how the residents of Bon Temps react to his strange behavior.
Have you read the books
No, but I intend on borrowing the first book from one of the relatives once school starts

He had crept through the doorway. It was the pinnacle of night, and His fangs were as sharp as swords. He was ready to feed. Swiftly but quietly he walked up the staircase of the house, reaching the second floor. The owner of the house was fast asleep and had no clue of what was about to take place this night. Extremely quietly opening the door to the owner's room, William nonchalantly walked in. A smirk on his face unmatched by any comedian. His mouth opened ever so slightly, as his fangs perched out over his bottom lip. He sniffed quietly as he picked up the scent of blood coursing through the man's veins and arteries. It was simply heaven, and William intended to drain Heaven abit tonight. It was a male, who was in deep slumber as his neck was stripped of anything clothing or obstacle. It was as if he was simply being served dinner so easily without any sort of hassle.
At this time William was now basically hovering over the sleeping male. Though he'd rather a women to feast on, he'd have to settle to drink some middle-aged male blood. Kneeling down on the carpet he moved in for the bite. Puncturing the man ever so slightly to keep his presence a secret. The man surprisingly barely budged. This in fact made things a ton simpler for William. If he had to knock the man out and cause commotion, he'd quite possible mess up his hair, which wouldn't of been the best thing. Slowly but surely he began to taste the blood in his mouth as he downed it as fast as he possibly could. The sheer taste was euphoric and a smile began to form on his lips as he still sucked on the man's neck.
After a few minutes, he could see the man began to slowly wake. It was finally time for him to part from this most delicious meal. Pulling his head up, his fangs released from the mans' neck as two puncture wounds were present. Nothing to gruesome, but the man would most definitely notice something bit him during the night. Again he slowly and swiftly left the room, closing the door shut tightly after he left. Now descending the staircase he went out through the back door. "That was quite the easy meal." He stated to himself, as a small trail of blood careened down his chin, dripping onto the grass he stood upon. From there he'd make his leave, dawn was approaching and he'd better find somewhere to sleep. Turning into a pile of ash didn't seem too pleasant. William then began to walk into the forest that was right off the perimeter of the backyard. His silhouette disappearing into the forest. What a night.
