Name: Kimberly Scarlett Monique Hollingsworth
Age: 23
Member Group: Witch
Character History:
Kimberly grew up on an Atlanta plantation with her family, in wealth and privilage. Ever since she was a little girl, weird things happened around her. Lights turned on and off, objects moved without her touching them and time seemed to freeze for a moment.
It wasn't until years later that she learned the truth about herself. In her first year of nursing school, everything changed. Her grandmother, against the wishes of her mother Blanche, informed her of her true destiny.
Little by little, she has grown to appreaciate her gift. A registered nurse, she is working desperately towards normalcy. It isn't easy to maintain friendships or relationships when you accidentally keep apparating or freezing time.
Now, she has moved to Bon Temps to run a healthcare clinic and hopes to find her place in the world.
Personality:
Kimberly is kooky and quirky. A soap opera fan and a forever optimist, she comes across as a modern Mary Poppins. Utterly loyal and friendly, she lives in fear of her secred being discovered.
A master liar, despite herself, Kimberly often gets herself into trouble because she isn't always able to controll her gift. She graves loves and attention but at the same time, she wishes to be left alone.
Future Plans for your character
I don't really have any huge plans right now but it would be nice if she would end up making friends and possibly have a romance with someone.
Have you read the books
No, not yet because I didn't want to spoil myself. I just bought the first book and I plan on starting it very soon.
Sample RP
Bon Temps was very much like I had expected it to be. Small, backwards and did I mention small? It wasn't going to be easy settling in but there is nothing I can't do when I set my mind to it.
I spent the next few hours dutifully unpacking my belongins. This sure was going to be different from what I was used to. First time living on my own, away from the busom of my family.
"Horsepucky," I exclaimed loudly when I dropped one of the boxes straight on my foot. I wish I wasn't so clumsy.
"This is taking way too long," I said, near tears as I sat down on the flowery couch mother had insisted I get. "I can do this. I'm strong, I'm independant and I don't cry for nothing," I said and concertrated my gaze on the boxes.
"Laatikot paikalleen," I said with a deep breath and in no time, everything magically settled into their place.
"Much better," I giggled.
