While Jason had attempted to reach out, both verbally and by pulling Haylee closer: She still felt clouded in a dream. Faulted by Eric and his sweet promises, though something did feel wrong in that respect. She hadn't left with him, which is strange. It felt like she had went through a notion of this already. Hadn't she, or was it just silly? Surely, they would be going soon. [They had to]. Haylee soon found herself drawn back to Eric, feeling both set of hands upon her face. His voice was rich to her, ears listening to every word. She would no longer be in his control.
In fact: She wouldn't remember anything that had transpired. Except for a tiny bit of information, that Eric saw; perhaps fit to keep. Such as his name, Eric Northman as well as being a kind vampire that awaited Sookie. It was like being hypnotized and on the count of "three," the victim had returned to normal. "Heya Sook!" She chirped before feeling the need to add the simple line of Eric's presence, "He seems rather kind. Huh?"

Jason musta been pretty drunk because he was stunned. One minute Haylee was all gooey eyed hanging on every word Eric said, the next she was acting normal like nothing ever happened. Jason stood back a minute and relaxed.
"Haylee, you doin' ok? Why don't you come over and have a drink with me and Jess?" He might not be the brightest bulb but he knew that what ever the vampire was tryin' to do tonight, he wouldn't stop til he got what he wanted, even if that included stepping on Haylee to get it.
