"Then you're a self centered evil man." She said. Oh sh.it, did I just say that out loud? But this time she did not have difficulty keeping a straight face. When he talked, she thought of Eric and wondered the age difference between him and Aletes. Eric was fairly old she knew that. She also knew that she should probably get herself out of here before the older Vampire did something horrible and creepy. "I wouldn't have to protect him, I doubt you're the oldest Vampire here. Unluckily for you, I...know a very old Vampire who is very powerful. Ever hear of Sheriffs, Aletes?" She doubted that he knew of Sheriffs seeing as how he was so old fashioned but Jessica decided Eric was the best way to go, after all he was cute. "No, I'd rather not, thanks." She said very simply.

Annabelle didn't know what the hell she was doing in a dump like Bon Temps. The sheriff of Dallas told her she might find out more if she went to Eric Northman. She didn't know where he would be at all, because it was vague information. Anna was going to start by scouring big city vampire groups and quizzing them about his whereabouts. If they thought she was asking in good faith, they'd probably tell her, either that or she'd end up in a lot of debt to vampires.
Annabelle generally traveled by foot where she needed to go, so she could have little to no contact with anybody. However, Dallas to Shreveport was two hours, and she did not feel like running. Instead, she purchased a night bus gearing towards Shreveport and hopped aboard, sitting by herself, mostly, until a young man with pimples, freckles, and a wad of thick red hair sat by her on a stop on the edge of Louisiana's border with Texas.
He was no older than eighteen and she spotted him as a virgin in record time. She loved virgin blood, almost as much as she loved baby blood. Her last meal had been carefully drinking Tru Blood in front of Stan Davis for appearances. Now, she was hungry, because that crappy substance never fulfilled her other desires, never. And here was a virgin, she could tell he was innocent and would fall for a beautiful southern woman like Annabelle. If only he knew that her appearances were quite the opposite of what she was.
She hated to have to speak to a human, but she knew if she was to avoid suspicions from the other passengers on the bus, that she'd have to make a conversation with him so it wouldn't look so weird when she got off the bus with him at his stop. The boy had a fascination with the Civil War, a very unhealthy obsession. It seemed to have started when he was born, as his folks had named him 'Elee.' A very strange name if the significance wasn't spotted.
Anna impressed the old boy with her stories of yesteryear, confessing that she was a vampire and was born as a human shortly after the war against the north. Of course, she left out the part about a millenia old vampire killing her entire family and changing her to what she was today. By the end of her stories, 'Bon Temps' appeared on the radar and the driver pulled off the highway and then to an old county road.
"This is my stop," Elee said, reaching for his bags and grinning at her, poor boy thought he had charmed her, when really he was only the prey.
"I think I'll stop here too," Annabelle stood up and followed Elee out of the bus.
They walked together and Elee admired her clothing, stating that his family had some old era clothing that they kept out in the shed. Annabelle was disgusted that he would keep such history hidden away, but she didn't say anything. She pretended to be absolutely interested. Well, she was. For one, she hadn't showered in days and was still wearing her old dress she had worn to Dallas. Perhaps, this was a chance for her to get new clothes and a shower.
The duo eventually made their way to the trailer park of Bon Temps and to his small white trailer. He stupidly invited her in, hadn't his mother ever teach him about strangers? Elee said that mom and pop were out at Merlotte's as usual. Annabelle didn't care, she wouldn't feast on them, they weren't the virgin here.
He apologized for not having any True Blood around and Annabelle shrugged. She could tell by his awkward movements that he planned on letting her drink from him: good boy. She was also planning on stealing his virginity if she could help it, for her other natural function hadn't been able to be used in weeks and weeks, since she'd primarily fed on dead babies as of recently.
This would be a night to remember for Elee, that was if she didn't intend to glamor him into forgetting her face.
Elee showed Annabelle the old gowns of his great, great, great grandmother. There was a gray dress from the civil war that dipped just beneath the knee with some white embroidery at the sleeves and at the edge of the dress. It was absolutely fabulous. He also let her have a petticoat, he swore his mother wouldn't know they were gone anyway. When Annabelle stripped out of her dirty clothing, to put on the new dress, and down to her corset, she stopped and that's where the magic happened.
She quickly made love to him and deeply drank his blood, letting his skin turn a shade lighter. After that, Annabelle glamoured him into forgetting what she looked like, but had him remember it was a vampire from the Civil War that had drank his blood and taken his virginity. She used the trailer's shower and then exited the trailer. Anna brought her old clothes with her, but threw them out amongst a cropping of trees.
She heard a smattering of voices. A party in the distance. Dogs barking. An older vampire and a very, very young vampire speaking about... A SHERIFF?!
Even in her long, period gown, she flew towards the direction of the conversation, now that her strength was restored with the blood of a virgin. Annabelle honed in on the young vampire with red hair and wasted no time at throwing herself at the girl and landing on top of her. Little did Anna know that this girl was very, very well acquainted with her sister, to the point of friendship.
But she never thought of such a possibility, the only thing she wanted to know was about the sheriff the girl had just been talking about. Annabelle only attacked the girl because she knew that she was younger, she wasn't stupid enough to face an older vampire, like the old vamp man standing by.
"Whaddyou know 'bout the sheriff heah, you hahlot?" when Annabelle was angry, her heavy southern drawl rolled through as easy as a stream across a smooth rock. The faster she could find her sister, the better, and she was willing to pin the youthful vampire down for hours on end to get information about the sheriff out of her.
If only it had been this easy with Stan Davis... Annabelle kept herself pressed against the girl on the ground, not even taking into account the fact that the old man and this girl might be friends. She looked at him with her fangs out and an appearance of wild anger situated on her face, before returning her gaze to the girl.

"You have got to be sh.itting me." Jessica muttered to herself as she felt a gust of wind, the ground suddenly beneath her and a body pressing against her. "Oh, so you know about sheriffs then?" She said, then shot upward and pushed the girl who abruptly and randomly appeared off of her. Unfazed, Jessica stood up with her fangs out. "I would appreciate it if you did not call me names, what the hell is a hahlot?" She said. "Anyways to answer your question, I know a lot about sheriffs, thank you very much. What's it to you?" She challenged, dusting herself off and folding her arms across her chest. She didn't show it but Jessica was a tad bit relieved she no longer was alone with Aletes. However, she kept her guard up in case Aletes and this other Vampire decided to be jerks and gang up on her.

Aletes turned to step between the newcomer and Jessica in an ironically protective manner. "I suggest you state your name and purpose before moving in on an elder's turf." He brought his face in close to her's and smelt quickly. "A recent drink...youthful blood. Finally I find one among our kind that hasn't mainstreamed...Aletes Giovanni, you?"
He cared not if Jessica ran off now, he could defeat both her or her maker. "You can run along now, run back to your maker and your human. I have better things to accomplish then lecture a twit."

Jessica raised one of her eyebrows, a look of humor on her face. "Elder? Wow, you really don't know how it goes in Bon Temps, do you?" After she spoke, she realized they both preferred human blood, thanks to Aletes revealing that kind fact after sniffing the newly arrived Vampire. That was probably not a good sign. Sh.it, I should get myself out of here. She thought but then Aletes seemed to read her mind, in a sense. "I have better things to do the get lectured by a Vampire that's as old as you." She snapped back and with that, shot off into the dark disappearing from sight.

"Finally..." He turned to the newcomer and laughed, "I hate youth in our kind...below 100 years and they just act like they can achieve something. Dam.n, bit.ch.
He then noticed the corse of his kill leaning against the fense. He threw it over with one hand and turned back to Annabelle. "You hate humans..." He smirked, "But surely you don't barging into a conversation for kicks and pleasure. You have an ambition...a quest in a way. Please...I cleaned out a trailer before for two meals: it is empty, we can speak in there."
He walked towards the trailer and looked back. "Please...consider this a meeting of allies."

Annabelle got up and let Jessica go, there really was no telling what the older man would do if she kept her restrained on the hard earth. She still was seething and an aura of 'I want to know' was pouring from her. If only she would've showered Jessica with kindness rather than ransacking her from the start, perhaps she'd know where to find Eric Northman... or even better: find Belle!
Annabelle silently watched the procession of the man and the redhead with wondering eyes, but mostly she was transfixed on the girl. Sadly, the man shushed off the young vampire and away she went into the night.
"Dammit," Annabelle muttered, watching the slender form disperse into the night.
Who the hell was this man and why the hell did he just scare away her only lead about Eric Northman? She was unhappy. Very unhappy. Vampire or not, she hated everything with two legs and two arms and a mouth. The man mentioned his name was Aletes... something, Anna wasn't paying attention.
She was still seething from not getting her information. However, the old man wasn't that stupid, not that he looked stupid. In fact, he sorta looked like her old town's doctor with the typical gray hair and an appearance of being wise. Anna's hearing honed back in once he started talking about 'ambition'.
Her head snapped at him, but the fire in her eyes was extinguished and her fangs had only partially went away.
"Allies? Are you sh**ting me?" Annabelle growled, "for all I know you are one of those weirdo vampires that gets off killin' others of their kind. I might be younger than you by a landslide, but I ain't stupid."
She crossed her arms across the top of her long dress and continued, "give me a reason why I should follow you into an abandoned trailer and I might think about goin' with ya."
Could this man be of service? Did he know about Eric Northman or Belle Rowan? She didn't know, but if he couldn't give her a good reason, she wasn't going to stick around and bother with the vampire.

"A good reason? Fine, I can assist you with anything you may need wiether it be locate someone or find something. I am building a group willing to destroy this pest we call humanity...really mostly vampires that would drink the blood of man to ensure his death. I wouldn't dare drink one of my own, one of the superior race. I only drink human blood and human blood alone." He said turning around, "You're not stupid, that is good to know. I will need someone with your kind of fire to accomplish what I have planned and in return, I will offer my services and those of my subordinates to ensure you get your half."
He walked back towards her with a smirk on his old face revealing his fangs, "I can smell it on you...virgin blood. A personal favorate of mine...sure it is made imperfect by the smell of toiletries. You must have cleaned up after your last meal."
"Now come along now, I am a trustworthy and honorable old vampire. I wouldn't harm you..." He began walking towards the trailer again.

Annabelle didn't know the definition of 'zealot', but if she did, she'd probably think he was one. However, he seemed like an intelligent zealot, one that could lead her closer to her goals. What would he think if she told him that one of her goals was to kill a very ancient vampire that is one of the last ancients on the planet? She figured that wouldn't bode well with him, no matter how evil The Reaper was. Anna decided to keep her mouth shut about it.
After he finished speaking, Annabelle slowly followed after him, glancing around her hesitantly. If anything happened to her, not many people would care, in fact, some would be clicking their heels. Oh well... death again would mean being with her family in another world, she thought.
After following him inside, she still maintained a good four feet distance from him, close enough to the window and the door if she needed to escape from the old vampire.
"I spose I should make myself known to you, my name is Annabelle Rowan of Oklahoma," Anna stated.
She hadn't been to Oklahoma in awhile, but she knew that was where she was going to go back to once she found her sister again. The last of her history lied there after all...
"Now, what do you want to talk 'bout?" Anna plainly said, not wasting time on embellishments.

The vampire noticed her caution and laughed in his head about it. "We all have needs and wants. But we are an elite breed...we don't see humans as equals...more like bugs or swine. MY objective to eradicate those insects and keep our race from being killed off by time and idiocy. Tru Blood is just another stage in the genocide against our kind...mainstreaming is just getting our kind into the open so that cults and human fools can rip out our hearts for trophy. I will not be pulled into that trickary...not after all my years of work. But anyway..." He paused and thought his words out. "I am apart of an alliance, a nest of sorts that is trying to rid us of the humans...as well as the filthy 'wolves. I am willing to offer my personal services and those of the members of our nest to find anyone you are looking for."
"Who are you looking for and why? I make an oath to you that we will find them but only if you make an oath to me..." He elder vampire cracked his neck as he hissed. "...complete loyalty. Anything less will not be accepted, when our whole nest is brought together: whoever you search for will be located, captured and turned over to you for your liesure. But until that point...complete loyalty to me will be needed."

With every word he spoke, it was very characteristic and well-thought out, it really raped Annabelle's eighth grade educated mind to grasp big concepts. Her eyes made it clear that she was still confused and very uneasy around such an old, intelligent vampire. When he hissed, no fear slid through her, although she did take a step back in caution. This was not a vampire to mess with, he had such intensity in his eyes that Anna hadn't seen in a hundred years... ever since The Reaper.
This was probably one of those times where she had to feign being polite in order to save her ass, though she'd rather just call him a big fat chicken humpin' nincompoop.
"Umm... I'm sorry, sir, tha's a lot of committment for me. Right now. I know you mean good and well, sir, but I just don't think I can do that right now," she tapped her hand on her hip, nervous, "but tell you what, you tell me where your homestead is, and if I decide it sounds good in my book, I'll come 'round and see ya."
Number one was fear. She didn't know this strange vampire, and she didn't really want to get to know him. Number two was commitment to a cause she didn't really give two sh**s about. Sure, she hated humans, but she wasn't going to absolutely go out of her way to exterminate them. Number three, she wanted to get to Shreveport as soon as possible and didn't want his all knowing eye upon her during her search.
Anna wondered what to do next, and also wondered if she had been cordial enough for him to not kill her. She hoped so. She didn't want to die without finding Belle first.

"Yes of course...I am sure that neither of us want to go out of our way to help each other." The elder got up from his seat and walked to the nearest window. "Don't be nervous, even if you turned me down I wouldn't of harmed you."
He paused to bring himself together. "My last homestead was in Greece a long time ago...before you were born a human. Since then I wandered, killed, feasted and stole for survival but I would like to find someplace to roost...I don't have such a place at this point in time."
The elder vampire decided to maybe lighten up when it came to possible allies, nothing complete loyalty can be a turn off for most of his kind especially with the whole idea of makers and what else might be going on in their minds. "Alright..." He turned as he said this, "I am sure we can hammer something out. Who are you looking for, why and where are you going? Tell me this and I will see what I can do."
He then noticed a glint of light on the horizon, "Come...I will lock the door and we can head into the back storage room. Morning is coming fast." Quickly he rushed to secure all the locks on doors and windows before shutting the shades.
