Aletes licked the final drops of human blood from his fangs as he wander along the fense outside of the trailer park. He heard some noise within, a fight between a couple. He hissed at the idea of another meal and wished it to happen. "Excuse me!" He called out, "Can an older man go for a walk without having to listen to your youthful issues or must I forced to listen to your problems?"
As the elder walked over the man grabbed an old wooden baseball bat. "You stay out of my buisness, you hear? I'll send you back to your nursing home!"
"I can help you...obviously one of you is the problem in this relationship. One of you might have to leave, I own a nearby motel. I can take one of you there for the night."
"I'll go Kerri, we can sort this out." The man followed Aletes out near the street corner. Half an hour later, Aletes licked blood off his lips and palms until he noticed the woman standing near the road.
"Where is my husband?"
Two hours later, Aletes exitted their trailer with the fresh taste of blood in his mouth. He was walking outside the fense again he was hoping to meet up with one of his own kind, although killing humans has been getting his agenda out: he needs more of his own species at his side.

Jessica had no idea what she was doing here at Four Tracks Corner. As far as she was concerned, no one she knew lived here. Maybe that's why the young Vampire was here, to make some friends and to explore the part of Bon Temps she had yet to see. Shrugging her shoulders, she continued to walk when a scent filled her nostrils. Vampire. "Wow, this place is certainly getting Vamp filled." She murmured to herself then withdrew the B+ she had brought along. Popping the cap off, she took a nice swig until she saw someone else walking along the fence. Her senses told her the figure was the Vampire she smelt just a few minutes ago. Lowering the bottle down, she wrapped her hand around it and lowered her arm down so it was dangling next to her side.

Aletes walked over to the youth and raised his head slowly then lowered it, "Ah...another one of the higher race." The elder vampire then smelt the Tru Blood she was drinking and drew back his head with a grimace of disgust. "I cannot believe you would drink that excuse for human essense." He cocked his head to the side and raised his nostils suddenly, "What is that other smell? I know that smell...the smell of human, human male. Not only do you drink that garbage but you insult our supremacy while dragging along with a rodent...a fangbanger. Disgusting."
"How do you like that lie? The crimson liquid that doesn't have the warmth or the energy of a standard elixir that flows from then veins of a human kill. It may carry the nutritional values our kind seeks but those who accept that processed pop should be eliminated. Throw it aside...dump that red waste into the street."
Aletes was in power here, he knew this young vampire was no where near his age and could easily be defeated if she was to engage him. If she ran, he would persue. He stood his ground and made his demands hoping he could gain a useful ally in the end of this altercation.

When the older, much older, Vampire came over to her, Jessica knew she should not have come here. For one thing, he was not a main streamer or Tru Blood fan as he not so subtly showed. For another, he freaked her out, even before he finished his first sentence. "Umm, hi?" She said quietly, knowing she'd be in deep s*it if Bill found out about this, whatever this happened to turn out to be. When he said 'fangbanger,' Jessica wondered if he was talking about Sookie or even Brandy, but Brandy was a witch and Jessica decided not to reveal that fact to this intimidating guy. She had not spoken anything else when he talked on and on, ranting about how Tru Blood was a lie. When he demanded her to throw it out in the road, she only gripped the bottle tighter. "I'm...sorry...you feel that way..." She said simply, looking down at the bottle. She had a feeling he'd do something to her if she didn't do as he said but then again, who was he to tell her what to do? Of course he's much older then him, maybe even older then Eric, but he was not her maker nor was he in anyway involved with her life before now. So, why should she listen to him?

"I am sorry...you seem worried." The elder looked up and smirked at the stars. "If you wish...you could bring your maker around to deal with me. I would prefer a challege if I was to be attacked. But to be clear, personally I mean you no harm. If you wish to keep drinking that...filth, you may."
He smirked at her, "My maker is long dead...and I enjoy the freedom his demise brought me. He talked about a unity between humans and vampires in later years...drove me insane. Pass 700 years and I guess you start to lose it but anyway. Just dump that in the street and try what I live in. Mainstream is for those incapable of survival in the fierce world of vampires - they want to be as human as possible with their cans of lies and humans on their arms. Have you thought of it that way? Maybe you should for now on...trust me, if you think the way I do: no one can harm you. Not humans, not shifters, not even your maker..."
The elder extended his hand and hoped she would be drawn into his way of living: he has kept many vampires from human-liking routes in his path but he would now hope to challenge a local vampire in hopes of hording those he holds dear: his allies. "Come on now...I'll find us a good feast, a human without a care or wish to live."

Yeah, after talking to me the way you did, it's hard to not be worried, buster. She thought but kept a straight face, with a lot of difficulty. She was careful with her words, something she barely did, but in this instance being careful with words would be a smart decision. She knew she'd be in even bigger s*it if she got Bill involved with this guy, so she decided not to. "Umm, no I won't go get my maker." She said then calmed down a bit once he said he meant her no harm. How somewhat heartening.
Anyone who knew Jessica Hamby knew she wasn't one to go run and hide behind someone elses legs, especially now that she was immortal. She stared down at the bottle but kept it in her hand. When he spoke again, she looked back up. "I'm...sorry...about your loss." She said, remembering she had learned one time how strong a bond both maker and creation had. She and Bill had yet to create this everlasting bond.
Jessica then wondered if they, Bill and herself, would ever create it, what with her trying his patience every other night. Bringing herself back to the conversation, she learned that this Vampire did know about main-streaming but disapproved of it. His offer intrigued her, more than intrigued her. Bill was a main-streamer and thus Jessica had to be a main-streamer. She had no choice, besides being bad with Belle and going to Fangtasia for a few drops every now and then.
"He has never harmed me." She said, meaning Bill of course. "He is a main-streamer, I have no choice." She looked down at his hand for a minute then stared past it to her own, at the Tru Blood bottle again. Before she knew what she was doing, Jessica hit his extended hand away and after he spoke, said, "f**k no, you can't force me. I'll report you." She glanced back up, feeling her fangs extract. What the hell am I getting myself into? She thought but this rebellious Vampire was not one to be bossed around or told what to do, anyone who knew her knew this as well.

"Report me..." The elder laughed. "I've been around since Spainish soldiers surpressed cultures in Central America...long before this age of highways, Internet and other wastes. I am not afraid of any institution of vampire or man who may come after me. I am Aletes Giovanni, and I am unwavering. Go seek your master or anyone else around...fetch them and run...report me and try to scare me off. It will give me time to feast on human bugs." The elder's canines retracted and he hissed when he noticed Jessica had already done the same. "That a challenge? Why don't you try some of it...human blood is far greater then canned flith. You didn't choose to be one of us, you didn't choose to be transformed into a monster. You couldn't have..,a young women like you must of had much bigger dreams. If they did this to you without your whim, then why live by their codes?"
He paused, "A bum is threatening suicide on the south side of the trailer park. I can get him and make the kill, you can just taste it. If you hate it, you can walk away. You have nothing to lose, my dear, no...you have only to gain." He held out his hand again, "Come on now..."

She raised her eyebrows at his laughter. She hated when people didn't take her seriously. Geez, this guy likes to tell me about his life. She had to yet again force herself to keep a straight face. She knew she'd called Tru Blood s*it when she first tried it but who wouldn't? That didn't mean she'd go with this creepy Vampire guy and drink human blood. Bill would find out sooner or later and thus Jessica would have to standby for a father figure lecture. Jessica found herself dazing off but then her attention snapped back into place automatically when his own fangs extracted. She wouldn't go running to Bill or someone, at least not now as he told her to do. Suddenly, an idea popped into her head. Almost everyone she knew, namely Pam, called her annoying at one point or another and annoying is not a favorable trait in someone. Deciding to try it out, Jessica said, "Actually, I did not have big dreams when I was human, thank you very much. Also, I would rather be a Vampire then live another second of my human life. Oh and I don't want to taste no hobo's disgusting blood because I have no idea where it's been and what's in it. Oh and for the record, I am not your dear!" She knew if she had said this, or something of the sort, to anyone else, the would be so annoyed with her rants they'd...well, she had no idea what they'd do but it would probably show they were annoyed.

"You are quite the annoying twit arren't you. Tell you what, I'll find us something better then a bum. Come on now Jessica...yes, you learn the names of vampires when you work hard enough to get them. Come with me then...a taste isn't going to brand you a demon. Sure you might be given a talk by our maker about the mainstream and what else but...I can allow you a choice in some form. You can no longer be a slave...you can be your own vampire instead of a living puppet." He smirked revealing his fangs.
"I used to be a puppet once...my master was killed by a hunter in England and now look at me. Don't you want to be able to decide on your own what to do or believe. Do you think about remaining where you are because of fear or love...creed or weakness. I can set you free..." A man walked around the corner and Aletes quickly snatched him...breaking his neck to ensure silence. "Freedom...tastes like gold." He sunk in his fangs and began to drink with his eyes peering at the youth. When he pulled his fangs out he smiled, "Take a slip..."

That was kinda sorta something she was looking for. At least he thought she was annoying. Even though his offer intrigued her more and more, she knew it was wrong. She had a reputation for being reckless but being reckless had it's consequences. If she were reckless now for instance, consequences would arrive to meet her later. "I am not a slave, those days are over." She slipped a very vague preview of what her human life was like, bad move or good move? She didn't know. "I am not a puppet, those days are also over. I also do not enjoy getting lectured and am not a pretty sight when I am." She continued to rant, hoping she'd annoy him so much he'd walk away or something. I'll look at you, alright. You creep me out like all hell and I have no idea why you hate Tru Blood so much. She mentally said, keeping her face straight with difficulty for the third time. She had no idea what Aletes meant by setting her free but jumped slightly when he snatched the innocent human being. When he fed, she looked away and did not look even when he finished and told her to take a sip.

"Over...?" He smirked yet again as she was looking away. "I see now...Daddy's little girl decided to rebel and soon enough was drinking Tru Blood from a can. Imagine a life without a maker, I can give you it. Please...don't be so stubborn or blind. I can show you a world anyone would chain you from wiether it be your birth father or your maker. MY world isn't a fantasy or a dream...it is a lifestyle in which I command my daily agenda, in which I am the ruler of my mind. Freedom...is the most valuable thing to a sentinet creature. Do you think, talk, mourn and believe...you are sentient and should live like something that isn't a pet."
"No one would lecture you if you choose my path...this is the true life of your superior race, not a constructed life designed to please humans." He paused for a moment and walked over to her, he put his hand on her cheek and turned her face to look him in the eyes. "We were the victims of human ignorence and flaw...you must have seen the signs around here God Hates Fangs, that idea goes back to the time man left Eden after his first crime against existance. Now our kind has to change and be dictated by what makes the lesser creature happy or comfortable. Is that right? Do you believe that is the destiny of our kind, to assimilate and become nothing more then a sub-species of a flawed kind such as humanity?"

Jessica's eyebrows twitched, she was still becoming more and more intrigued by Aletes'...persuasions? for her to join him. She tried to imagine life without Bill, no control over her life. Just recklessness all the time? She had no idea what sentient meant but she did know that even a Vampire as reckless as her could get tired of being so out of control all the time. Stubborn is my middle name. Jessica was beginning to loose track of how many times she had to keep a straight face shown with difficulty. Clearly, Aletes was so old fashioned he hated everything modern, even modern 'out of the coffin' Vampires, at least that's what Jessica thought. "No," she said finally, slightly challenging him and herself. "That is not right, this is how we live now. Yeah, I've seen the signs around here but things can change. I don't want to be known as some weirdo Vampire girl who completely thought of her own food cravings and not of other people's lives." With that, she thought of Hoyt and how slowly he was making her a better Vampire, while accepting her for who she was in the process. "I don't know what I believe in but it most definitely isn't killing every human I meet so I can just have their blood when they have so much more to live for as a human." Jessica was surprised at herself for saying this. Maybe she was maturing and thus becoming less dramatic Fu.ck no, that is sure as hell not happening.

"It is obvious what keeps you from doing this. You have a human don't you...?" The elder laughed. "This that what keeps you from drinking this blood...a human male that you wish to drag along like it was high school. Pathetic! I could kill you right now for sheer enjoyment but I shall not. you are already leaning towards me...I can see it in that staight face. Your struggles to keep your mind on track with what your maker has told you. You can really be free of him and free of all distractions and restrictions: if you really do value your human and if he really values you then he should understand why you must be true to your race. Just don't feed on anyone he knows...it is simple. All I have to do is find out who your maker is...and then, I'll let you blaze your own path for the rest of eternity."
The elder knew he was making some progress...all he needed was the name of her maker and he could get the job done.

Her fangs flashed at his mention of Hoyt. She had no idea whether or not to call her Hoyt her human but nevertheless got slightly defensive when it came to him, especially in this sort of conversation. But then knowing he'd probably laugh...again, she retracted them and drew herself up to full height. "I hope you realize that if you do kill me, you'll have to go in front of the magister." How he would kill her without a stake, Jessica didn't know but she wasn't the kind of Vampire to show question on her face in a situation like this. It's not that simple, buster. You don't know Hoyt and you sure as hell don't know me. Fu.ck straight faces and Jessica laughed, she completely lost it. She laughed for a straight ten minutes without trouble, because of course Vampires don't need to breathe. She knew she had only been away from Bill when she was hanging out with Eric but that was different. They had made a deal or something so Jessica could stay with Eric, this living arrangement didn't last that long. But she knew she wasn't going to give his name out anytime soon. Aletes' offers did intrigue her but she'd rather spend a whole lifetime with Bill then him.

When she stopped laughing, Aletes chuckled. "You are getting defensive...you feel like it is up to you to protect your human. What if I just started feasting about...randomly picking off humans throughtout Bon Temps. What if I killed him? What if I killed your human for the sake of my own survival? What would you do but sit back and mourn, you can't protect him from a vampire like me and neither can your maker."
The elder vampire knelt down before her, nearly sitting on the concrete and smirked. "Go grab a stake...I'll give you a freeblow."
