All lands start with the first blade of grass, the struggles and push it way up through the soil to be warmed by the sun. That is the beginning of life on Turas, as the goddess of love and beauty stepped down from Chanti’s and life sprung up around her ankles. There she waved her hand and brought lush forests, running water in streams and lakes and created a haven for her children. The elves. This land could not be concealed for long, and soon the other god/goddesses were placing their children down on its earth and giving them a place to expand and grow. Like chess pieces the gods watched this world get bigger and thriving with life, and soon sat back as races expended far enough to discover other races.
The gods divided the world into three sections, the earth, the waters, and the sky.
This is where the world began to change, once more. Now Vampires, Werewolves, shifters, werecats and were bears along with a few metallic and a fallen angel, even demons call this place home…
Each race believed they were first here in this land, and claimed ownership, suddenly the landscape changed, for stone walls were built to keep out those undesired races from entering provinces that stronger races had claimed.
But each influenced the changes that took place to create the world as we know it today, even if their part doesn’t seem important enough to mention, allowing them to become myths and legends just doesn’t feel right.
Now the world of Turas is thriving past a recent war where the Ice god Talbot tried to freeze Turas under a blanket of ice and spread his blood elves across the world. Races that didn’t merge before this threat upon their lands now came together to fight for a common goal, freedom.
The war was won but not before the loss of hundreds, not before the chill of the ice god touched more then one soul with his chilling war. The races are now mixed and struggle to live together in one land, the land of Turas.
This is not a place where only the strongest survive; medieval life is hard and with it comes people who discover they have the strength to call this uncertain land home.
Turas is a open play site, you create your character and let your imagination and creativity free to thrive here.

This is not a new site, its in its fifth year of life, active daily posters can always be found here, but unlike some of the sites, we sadly do not have enough female characters, so if you’re a girl looking for a Medieval Fantasy to come and explore, then your most welcome at Turas. Male characters are always welcome as well.
