Lookout point. The place where couples go to make out and...stuff. Pity Kyle couldn't bring Henry here, it would get them seen, and then probably get Henry fired. Shame...
He sat on the ground, cross legged with a bottle of water in front of him. He had done the fire spell before, in the graveyard...near trees... But this time he would do it away from anything that could be damaged if the spell went awry.
He took a deep breath and placed his hands on either side of the bottle of water, a few iches between his skin and the plastic bottle itself. Then he mumbled the words "...Per copiae copie aer quod gelu , congelo!..."
Then...nothing. The water didn't freeze, nothing. He heaved a heavy sigh and tried again, this time his voice tinged with his frustration. "...Per copiae copie of aer quod gelu , congelo!..." This time somethine happened...The water in the bottle froze and he heard the plastic crack under the pressure...but the grass around the bottle did too...Now it shimmered in the moonlight and stretched out about a metre or two around him and the bottle. Oh...Bugger... How the hell was he supposed to unfreeze all this without messing it up again!
Come to think of it..cold! He stood up quickly and started rubbing his freezing behind, feeling the friction begin to take away the cold feeling. "Great..."

Lookout point. Brandy thought it was just a rumor, not that she needed an excuse to find a secret place to be with Sam anyway. Her cheeks were still flushed, she was a bit wet from the shower that had followed and both had decided a walk to 'cool off' was the best idea.
Dawn wasn't for a hour, so the moon was still hovering in the sky as they walked. Their hands were intertwined, the night air basking over them as if the night itself had blessed them in unison. She felt.. on air at that moment, as if they were the only couple in the world. They weren't saying much to each other, just sorta... basking in the company.
They had neared the scene casually, because it wasn't something one would expect to walk in on this time of the night. It was an unusual sight from a distance - a meter or so of frozen ground around a broken bottle.
What the hell?
The ice wasn't natural, or at least it didn't feel natural. Brandy had let go of Sam's hand and spotted a figure that looked strangely familiar.. a figure rubbing his @ss.
"Oh je$us, is that who I think it is? What the hell is he thinking?!"

Sam walked hand in hand with Brandy. Not anywhere in particular, just wanted to spend some quiet time in the great outdoors. they somehow found themselves at Lookout Point, a notorious place in Bon Temps for young amourous couples. It wasn't an intentional thing at all, if he wanted to continue to be amourous he wouldn't have agreed to come outside.
Brandy let his hand go and his eyes followed her. She was looking at something, no someone. She tensed up. "Oh je$us, is that who I think it is? What the hell is he thinking?!" Sam looked across to the male figure, he slowly recognised him. "Kyle?" he said curiously. What was he doing out here at this time in the morning?

It wasn't BB's words but Sam's that registered in Kyle's ears and made him turn, slightly startled, to see them. What the hell were they doing here?! Crap! he looked self-consciously down at the frozen grass around him, half admiring the work - it scintillated beautifully in the moonlight - and half nervous - because, let's face it, he's buggered that one up!
"Ah, hey guys. Didn't know you were coming up here this late...or early" He said, shuffling slightly, wanting to move, but not wanting to step on the icy grass, lest he fall on his ass.

"Ah, hey guys. Didn't know you were coming up here this late...or early"
Late, early - it was no matter. Brandy was more concerned with something else.. the fact that he was practicing his magic out in the open like this! Sam knew Brandy was a witch, but she didn't think he knew Kyle was one and it was kind of hard to explain something like this to him.
"What.. what are you thinking Kyle? Did you do this?"
Brandy took a step forward, toward the icy grass and bent down to touch it. Oh, it was real alright - but Kyle's magical signature was all over it. She was about to get up and protest when she was the one that ended up falling on the ice!!
Oh, it was a good thing she wasn't it that torn dress. In fact, she had been in Sam's only pair of gray pull-string jogging pants and one of his 'famous' blue plaid buttoned shirts. Down she went, and she couldn't help but to whine as she ended up on the ground.
.. gee, good thing she was so graceful!
"*sigh* That kinda hurt.. and you know what Kyle? I kinda blame you. This is so dangerous, what happened?"
She looked toward Sam, hoping that he would help her up. That was surely the most embarrassing thing ever.

Sam lunged forward as Brandy slipped and fell. He reached out a hand for her to help herself up to her feet. He couldn't help but smile as she looked cute in one of his shirts and old jogging pants. He sneakily patted her down, she didn't have much luck in that department. First a paintball, then slipping on the ice. Ice from where?
Sam noticed that Brandy wasn't happy with Kyle at all. The tone of her voice changed dramatically, as did her posture. What was going on? Sam didn't want to step in just yet and decided it was best for Brandy to deal with this and see how it panned out.

Kyle stiffled a laugh when Brandy's ass hit the deck. It really wasn't funny....well, shouldn't be. He wasn't a sadist. He sobered when she spoke to him, almost chastisingly. Then his apprehension came back as he flicked a glance at Sam, whom until now didn't know he was a witch. Great.
"*sigh* Yeah, I did it. It didn't work the first time, I got...frustrated, and then it happened the second time...a little more than I had planned..." He said, gesturing to the ice that obviously shouldn't be there.

Really, if Kyle would of laughed Brandy didnt think she could blame him. First a paintball and then ice, even as Sam helped her up she imagined her @ss wasn't favoring well at that moment.
Then it suddenly dawned on her, as he was panting her down, why he had shot her with that paintball a couple of days ago..
Tricky! She made a mental note to tease him about it when they got back to the trailer. Till then, there was something more important.
"*sigh* Yeah, I did it. It didn't work the first time, I got...frustrated, and then it happened the second time...a little more than I had planned...
Brandy recognized that look, hey - it wasn't her fault Kyle was being careless with his magic! She stared at the ice, wondering if she could cancel it for him. She really didn't focus on the 'elemental' basics of magic - she was more into protection and dispelling evil kind of spells.
Plus, somehow, Brandy had managed to grow faster than Kyle. She didn't know how it happened, maybe it was because of Sam. Could her power have grown so fast because of him? She couldn't even look at Sam without just... becoming completely enveloped in him.
She shook her head of the thoughts as she wondered why Kyle's magic was so erratic lately.
"So.. your getting frustrated when your magic doesn't work, you do know magic is fueled by our emotions right? No wonder it kinda.. exploded. Instead of getting frustrated maybe you should try focusing a bit more. Just dig a little deeper and concentrate. I'm sure you can get it"
After all, her and Kyle had become better friends already. Maybe if she could help him, then she could also help herself to grow stronger.

Sam stood observing the two witches. He knew Brandy was, she was very open with the whole thing. Kyle, he had no idea about though why would he. Sam was completely bewildered by the whole witchcraft thing, even though he was a Shifter it all seemed completely out of his league.
Sam smiled as he watched Brandy. She was just so sweet and kind and always willing to help anyone with anything. He was really proud to even be her friend, even though they were now so much more.

Kyle heaved a heavy sigh, "Yeah, I get that" He said, a little more testy than usual. He knew that he shouldn't get frustrated after failing his first attempt. He didn't need to be reminded of it!
He took a deep breath, willing himself to calm down and not snap at his friend. She was only trying to help, he didn't need to be attacking her. "Sorry" He murmured, apoligising for his earlier rudeness. Now, how to get out of his little predicament without falling on his ass. Well, one foot slowly infront of the other was a good start. And it seemed to work, like they say, slow and steady wins the race. And won he did, getting back onto earth without slipping onto his ass. "Whew"

"Yeah, I get that"
His tone of voice indicated he was just a bit annoyed. She only stood there, no expression her face. Obviously he was frustrated, but a part of her knew it wasn't at her.
. "Sorry"
Brandy only shook her head, waving it off. And then, after waving it off, she adjusted the pants and pulled tighter on the string - ultimately, having to adjust the rim of the boxers she was wearing too.
Oh right, she was in boxers. How did guy's wear these things anyway? She couldn't help but to shoot Sam a look. It might of been more awkward if he owned tighty-whities. Oh, right, back to Kyle. She blamed Sam for being distracting.
"Try melting it. I'll cast a spell around it, so that you don't cause the whole place to catch on fire."
Brandy knelt down again, her hand just a hair away from the ice sheet. Quietly she closed her eyes, mumbled a chant and then took a step back to stand beside Sam. It wasn't much, it was only meant to keep Kyle's magic contained within the small radius.
"Go ahead, melt the ice"
With a thought she nodded, and turned to smile at Sam. He probably was a bit overwhelmed by the whole thing. It was no matter, Brandy was confident in Kyle and they were sure to head back home soon.

Sam watched in awe as Brandy sort of took control of the situation, giving Kyle some much needed, though he wasn't sure how wanted, help. His mind kept wandering back to earlier, probably not a good thing. Sam tried to block out those wandering thoughts.
When she turned to smile at him, the block smashed and again he thought of there first night as an official couple. He'd wait for her however long this thing with Kyle was going to take. She was worth every second.

Kyle was a bit peeved that BB was couldn't take care of his own mess, putting a limit around the ice so that he doesn't 'cause the whole place to catch on fire'. He's not incompetent! But he didn't voice this, just knelt down beside the ice and held his hand about it, letting his eyes fall half closed as he murmured the words slowly. "Glacies distraho"
He felt the energy rise up and out of his body and skim along the surface of the ice. Within seconds the ice had started to shrink, getting smaller and smaller until there was nothing left but the cold, slightly wet, earth. Ha!
He stood back up, a little proud that he managed to do it without his spell colliding with BB's barrier.

Something was a little off with Kyle, and Brandy turned her head curiously as she watched him. It was obvious he didn't want her help, maybe he was even a little insulted by it?
Oh well. Brandy wasn't one to dwell on things so much, and now that Kyle had done what he needed to do Brandy decided it was best for her and Sam to just head back toward the trailer.
"Good job, uh.. Sam and I are going to head back home now. Unless uh, you wanted to stay back? It's not my place to speak for you"
She offered Sam a soft smile, absent mindly reaching for his hand. There wasn't really much Sam could offer in that situation, he wasn't exactly.. well, he was special but not 'witch' special.

"Good job, uh.. Sam and I are going to head back home now. Unless uh, you wanted to stay back? It's not my place to speak for you" Brandy looked to Sam and he felt her hand in his. He was almost to distracted as to not reply.
He coughed quietly and looked to Brandy and then to Kyle. "I don't really know what I can do to be honest. I'm not really too much up on Witchcraft." Sam said awkwardly, he wasn't lying. But he felt a little out of place with the two witches. "It's probably best if we head back." Sam let out a huge yawn, it had been one of the longest days of his life. Though it ended on a good note. Part of him just wanted to get back to the trailer and fall asleep with Brandy in his arms.
