Summer sat slumped against her car, her knees drawn up into her chest, her arms wrapped around her legs and she rest her chin on her knees. Her whole body was tense and the upcoming full moon was making her anxious, moody and emotional. Why was she even still here? She was frozen to the spot, a bundle of raw exposed nerves.
"Hey Summer, hold up a moment."
Summer heard the words as if Brandy was miles away. She didn't even notice that her friend was very close to her and leaning against the car next to her.
"Is everything alright? I mean.. you kind of took off in a hurry. Sam was wondering where you went"
Summer realised Brandy was with her, but her hunched position remain unchanged and Summer continued to look ahead, barely even blinking. "Alright? That's a relative concept B." she spoke the words almost distantly. "I haven't been alright in a very long time. The coming moon only complicates matters more than they already are."
Summers words were cryptic and lacking in emotion. It wasn't anything against her friend, she just wasn't able to help her lack of reaction.

Sam watched Brandy leave the bar, his mouth open in vain protest. He understood why she had to go to her friend. Though he did make a note to talk to her about leaving him in a predicament with the very strange Vampire girl.
Um...May I have another...Please
Sam looked over at her, but no sooner had she asked for another bottle of TruBlood, she had wandered off to the jukebox and put on a song and danced away to it. Once the song ended she came back over to the bar, where Sam placed a bottle of AB Positive on a napkin for her.
She looked at him awkwardly. Sam wasn't entirely comfortable himself, but he remained polite. He had a business to run and being rude to his customer was deeply unprofessional. Um...so... she began, trying to think of something to say. How long have you been in Bon Temps?"
"About 6 years" Sam replied. "You're quite new here huh?" he asked back, politely.

"Alright? That's a relative concept B."
Well, that didn't sound good. That didn't sound good at all. Brandy was watching Summer intently, it was hard to tell if Summer even knew she was there. She seemed very.. lost.. in her world and Brandy looked concerned.
"I haven't been alright in a very long time. The coming moon only complicates matters more than they already are."
"Summer, you can talk to me you know.."
Brandy reached one hand for her shoulder, squeezing it gently. She knelt down beside her friend and brought her own knees to her chest.
"After all.. you would do the same for me.. you did the same for me"

Belle grabbed her bottle of blood and sipped it quietly while Sam talked for a bit. She looked at him nervously. She wished that BB would come back or Jessica come in and ask her to go somewhere with her.
"About 6 years" "You're quite new here huh?" "Cool...Um yeah I just moved a couple days or so." Belle was still really nervous around the shifters. None of the one's in this area seem as nice as the one's in her previous homes.

"Summer, you can talk to me you know.."
Brandy spoke gently, and Summer felt her friends hand on her shoulder. She didn't know how to respond. Confiding in another person was something Summer hadn't done in a very long time. Riding from town to town, city to city has it's disadvantages. One of those was having a friend to talk to. Really talk to.
"After all.. you would do the same for me.. you did the same for me"
Summer closed her eyes in a bid to hold back the tears that were fighting to escape. She wouldn't allow herself to let that happen. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at Brandy. "There are so many things I want to tell you, but I can't. Stupid pack rules" Summer began making quotation marks with her fingers over the last two words. "My life...is a mess and the full moon makes me extra emotional, which just ain't a good thing."

"There are so many things I want to tell you, but I can't. Stupid pack rules"
Oh right. A wolf pack, Brandy heard - was very.. inclusive. They took their secrets to the grave and she wouldn't want Summer to tell her anything that she could get in trouble for.
"It's alright, your pack is important to you. Rules are rules right?"
Though, personally, Brandy wouldn't know what to do if she had been given 'rules' she had to follow. She left her last coven because of their attitudes so if she didn't agree with something.. sometimes she would get in trouble for it.
"My life...is a mess and the full moon makes me extra emotional, which just ain't a good thing."
Brandy shook her head. No, it wasn't a good thing. But it was natural and Summer was handling it the best way she could.
"You know.. maybe.. you should try not being so hard on yourself Summer. Your letting things get to you, when really all you need to do is just shake it off and realize you can only do the best that you can. Quit beating yourself up, and come join us back in the bar"
Brandy didn't really like seeing Summer this way, so she stood up and extended her hand to her.
"If it makes you feel any better, Sam is a bit moody too. He is trying hard to hide it around me, but once and awhile his eye twitches and he looks like he is ready to pounce. And not in a good way."

Brandy seemed to understand about the pack rules, but it frustrated Summer. Not having someone to confide in about all the issues that seemed to be cropping up since taking the job with Alcide. Her miscreant father, her vile ex-boyfriend plus her lingering grief over Marco it all just added up into one big steaming sh*tpile of problems. Problems she had no choice but to keep to herself.
"You know.. maybe.. you should try not being so hard on yourself Summer. Your letting things get to you, when really all you need to do is just shake it off and realize you can only do the best that you can. Quit beating yourself up, and come join us back in the bar"
"I'm not beating myself up B." Summer sighed looking up at her. "It's...ah never mind. It doesn't matter." she took Brandy's hand. "You're right. I'll put on my happy face and stay for a little while. Though I can't stay too long, work in the morning." Summer rolled her eyes.
"If it makes you feel any better, Sam is a bit moody too. He is trying hard to hide it around me, but once and awhile his eye twitches and he looks like he is ready to pounce. And not in a good way."
Summer found a grin appearing on her face. "Just one of those unfortunate things with us two-natured peeps." she put her hand on Brandy's arm. "Listen, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be snappy. Sometimes it gets a bit much having to keep all this stuff inside my head."

"I'm not beating myself up B. It's...ah never mind. It doesn't matter."
Brandy just smiled and shrugged, glad that Summer decided to pick up and join them back in the bar.
"You're right. I'll put on my happy face and stay for a little while. Though I can't stay too long, work in the morning."
Urg. Work. If Brandy could of won some lottery and not have to work again -
"Just one of those unfortunate things with us two-natured peeps."
Well, Brandy could only shrug, a smirk on her face.
"Eh, what can I do? I love the guy. Besides, let's be real here - 3 days out of the month, I'm not that much fun to be around either."
"Listen, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be snappy. Sometimes it gets a bit much having to keep all this stuff inside my head."
Brandy shook her head, waving her apology away as she made her way back to the bar.
"What kind of friend would I be if I let some snappiness get to me? A d@mn hypocritical one, that's for sure. Come on, if I leave Sam in there with that vampire any longer I will pay for it when we get home"

"Eh, what can I do? I love the guy. Besides, let's be real here - 3 days out of the month, I'm not that much fun to be around either."
Summer gave a grimace in humour, "Ugh I have that too. Thankfully not at the same time. I'd need locking up in a silver cage if that ever happened." She felt good for Brandy and Sam, it was nice to see happiness. Sure it made her envious, but that wasn't there fault. She didn't begrudge them at all. In actual fact they were absurdly cute together.
"What kind of friend would I be if I let some snappiness get to me? A d@mn hypocritical one, that's for sure. Come on, if I leave Sam in there with that vampire any longer I will pay for it when we get home"
Summer linked her arm into Brandy's and let out a little laugh at the thought. Sam would be really uncomfortable, it was sadistic but Summer was deeply amused by it. "Oh, okay. If we must" Summer replied, poking her tongue out. Brandy was a good influence on her, she'd need her in the tough times. "But first, I gotta fix myself up I look homeless."

"But first, I gotta fix myself up I look homeless."
"Hun, you could never look homeless. Maybe a little worse for wears' but never homeless. I'll meet you back at the bar"
Brandy let go of Summer's hand and opened the door for her, following shortly after. Summer went to the bathroom, Brandy went to where Belle was talking to Sam. Or trying to talk to Sam anyway.
"Hey there, I'm back. I hope you two didn't have too much fun since I was gone"
She was grinning way too much for her own good.

Belle was getting very nervouse she seemed like all eyes were on her and she didn't want that. She looked up and the shifter was serving drinks. She took a sip of her blood and settled down a tad. "Um...so..." Belle wan't a very good conversation starter.
Oh thank god' she thought when she saw BB come in. All she wanted was to be liked and here came BB. She sipped her blood with more enthusiasm then she did before.
"Hey there, I'm back. I hope you two didn't have too much fun since I was gone"
"We didn't" she smiled up at BB. She was hoping that it wouldn't be tooken the wrong way.

Sam threw Brandy a look. But he was glad she was back and managed to bring Summer back with her.
"Hey there, I'm back. I hope you two didn't have too much fun since I was gone"
Not likely, Sam thought with a grim look. D*mn his mood was all over the place. The physical discomfort of having to hold in a shift was impossible to describe. "What was wrong with her?" Sam sniped, his head motioning towards the ladies room where Summer had skipped off to after she came back into the bar.

"We didn't"
Brandy looked at Belle and just laughed slightly, she knew Belle didn't mean anything bad by it after all. Brandy took her seat as Summer rushed off and she caught Sam's 'look'. She really wished he could just lighten up, but she also couldn't blame him - she didn't know what he was going through.
"What was wrong with her?"
"Ah, she is just in a bad mood tis all'. A lot of things happening at once, you know how it is hun"
She gave him that 'you really do know how it is' kind of look. Her pina colada she noticed was all lumpy and she sighed, cupping her chin in her hand. Just as her thoughts seemed to wander she began to hear voices again.
"So.. is it the pretty dark haired one, or the pretty lighter haired one that is his girlfriend"
"I don't know maybe it is both? I think the one in the bathroom has the bigger breasts"
Brandy's only reaction was to put her head face down on the bar. Not this again.

Summer came out the ladies room with a huge smile on her face, a stark contrast to when she went in. Holding in her ever changing moods was getting to her so rather than make a scene and rush out. She chose to occupy a stall in the ladies room and chill out. After a few moments she came out and back into the bar.
Many of the eyes upon her and not in an entirely flattering way either. Summer soon tuned in to some of there scattered conversations.
He's prob'ly doin' em both at the same time. Lucky b@stard
Who'n the hell does that skank think she is? Struttin' round like she owns the place
Wonder if she'd let me have some o'that ass?
Summer spun round, glaring at all the ogling and disapproving eyes. This was so not the time for the local rednecks to piss her off. The top her nose, between her eyebrows knitted togther in a withering stare. "Y'all want a picture? Dumbass redneck motherf*ckers" Summer's whole body language changed from happy to don't f*ck with me in a split second.

Sam reached out and grasped at Summer's arm. "Will you knock it off?!" he was glaring at her, his hand around her arm tightly, trying to drag her off towards the bar. He looked round and Brandy had her head resting on the bar. "Will you help me out here?" Sam called over to her, as he began to struggle with Summer's strength.
Even though he was a Shifter, Werewolves were notoriously stronger than any other kind of Shifter. Sam figured this was where part of there superiority complex came from.
"Brandy!?"
