((OOC: This party is set on the night of the last full moon in it's cycle. So shifters beware lol))
Maryann glided through the the hallway of her house, well technically not her house. One she'd 'aquired'. A smile crept onto her face at the thought. She looked up at the clock, wouldn't be too long till her guests would start arriving.
"Mistress, you are looking divine this evening." came an admiring male voice from behind her.
Maryann turned round with a warm smile. "Oh Carl, thank you so much. Is everything ready for our guests?"
"Everything is in order, mistress. If you would like to come this way and see if there is anything else I can add to make this evening that little bit more glorious." Carl bowed his head to Maryann, which pleased her greatly.
"Come now Carl, show me your marvellous culinary creations." Maryann linked her arm with her manservants and allowed him to escort her to a large room filled with many fruits, savoury snacks and assorted treats to whet the appetite.
She clasped her hands together, a satisfied smile on her face. "Oh Carl, you've simply outdone yourself this time. Now I must go freshen up in preparation for out guests. Carl bowed to her again and watched in admiration as she swayed past him and up a long flight of stairs.

Okay, so here he was, standing in front of the large, white building. The place where Maryann had invited him for a party. He wasn't into her or anything, but a party was what he needed right now. All the weirdness going on - the vampire queen, Henry, the coven... A party was just what he needed, to get away from all that.
He took a breath and walked up to the porch of the house, rapping quickly on the door before he chickened out. Goddess knows who wouild be here tonight and what would go on...but he wouldn't back out. He needed to do something fun, something to get his mind off all the other s*it that was going on.

A knock at the door alerted Carl, Maryann's manservant. He opened the door slowly to see a young man on his own. "May I help you?" he said with a raised eyebrow, looking him over. ---------------- Maryann was in her room, locked inside so she couldn't be disturbed. She wanted to look absolutely perfect for her little get together. She wanted him to be proud of her. She looked upwards and gave a little smile. "Soon my love, very soon." She smiled and continued her beauty regime. She had picked out just the right dress and she sighed with happiness at the array of beautiful accessories. Tonight was going to be a very memorable night. For her at least.

Kyle focused on the dorr when it started to open, and then a man cam into view. May I help you? "Ahm, yeah, ah...I'm here for the party? Maryann invited me" He said, feeling like he was under a microscope under this mans stare.

It had been awhile since being invited to a party, that Haylee had to be honest about something. Regarding herself; mainly having a decent "hope." One, being that she at least dressed alright for this occasion. Maybe another being the idea of meeting someone at this party. Haylee for one: Didn't want to let Maryann down; in terms of not looking "in place." Frankly, she seemed like a VERY NICE person. Heck, she was throwing a party, the evidence is in the bag! What more could you need, in order to relax? Or to prove that she wasn't as nice as she seemed? Oh, she REALLY didn't have a clue on what's in store. Haylee patted down her *Outfit before feeling an awe, it focused on the house before her. Boy, it was plush. While heading closer and closer toward the front steps, she had gotten a view of someone. Well, "two" to be exact. The person at the front door, and the backside of a person she couldn't make out yet. Upon getting closer, the other "figure" was someone that she recognized. If she recalled right, that is. From Merlotte's. With a perked eyebrow, Haylee wondered if she had arrived to the right location. "This is Maryann's party, isn't?"

Kyle turned around when another voice joined him and the man inside the house. Haylee, if memory serves correctly. Works at Merlotte's. And tonight she was dressed ti impress! The dress she had on showing off a lot of leg, but not in a slutty way. "Yeah, your at the right place. Now to just go in" He said, turning back to the man inside the house with an obvious unsaid 'hint hint'.

The last couple of nights had been very.. one shall say.. disappointing? His realization was that this town was full of crazy woman and he hadn't found the right woman to serve as a more "Permanent" fixture in his life. Not just the women, even, this whole town was f*cking insane.
Shifters. Werewolves. Witches. A supernatural town. A supernatural event, d@mn - was he the only one searching for answers? He had approached the house wearing his Dark grey and crimson suit.
As a witch he had liked suits, as a vampire he liked suits even more. The expensive ones that felt like silk against your skin - never the bargain bin. There was some scattered shouting and some definite party sounds coming from this house and Derek was.. curious, one could say. Curious, bored - same thing.
When Derek approached, he spotted one familiar face and one not-so-familiar waiting at the door. He scoffed toward the familiar one, the one in the pretty dress with the long blond hair - she was sexy. Oh. Right. She was also a f*cking AIRHEAD.
He didn't even acknowledge her, or Kyle - and he certainly wasn't waiting for an invitation inside the house.
Oh bloody hell. Wait. He was. He couldn't even get close, another irritated growl - he had to wait for an invitation. Why was he going through the house anyway? All the action was in the back!!"Bloody Hell."

The tall, bald headed man looked at both guests with a warm smile and stepped back his arm out to encourage them inside. "Of course. Please, do come in. I will alert Miss Forrester to your arrival." he bowed his head slightly, his eyes on the woman and the man. He let them pass and closed the door behind them. "If you just make yourselves at home. Feel free to sample some of the delights on offer." he pointed towards a large open room with a long table filled to breaking point with various meats, fruit and sweet things. "I'll just be a moment." he bowed again and made his way upstairs and knocked on a large white door. "Mistress, some guests have arrived." Maryann's smile faded to a dark scowl as the knock on her door disturbed her getting prepared for the nights festivities. She shot up from her dressing table and swung open the door with one hand and with the other grabbed Carl by the throat pulling him inside her bedroom. Slamming the door closed behind her. "I told you not to disturb me!" her voice was seething with anger, putting pressure on the man's throat. She held it there for a few seconds, watching him struggle underneath her grasp. She let him go and threw him to the floor. She fixed her hair, and added the last few accessories to her overall outfit. "You always find ways to disapoint me Carl." she patted herself down and made her way out the bedroom, leaving Carl to follow. She stood atop her stairwell taking a sidelong look at herself in a full length mirror. She looked over her long flowing white dressl and smiled. Now she was ready to meet her guests, a little flutter of excitement as she wondered who would be first and if Haylee, the pretty little waitress from Merlotte's would actually come. She stepped into the doorway of the banquet room with a huge warm smile that grew even larger when she saw Haylee there. "Haylee, my dear you made it" Maryann threw her arms outward to give the girl a hug. "I'm so glad you made it." she turned her head to the young man. "Both of you." Carl came skulking down the corridor and noticed the man standing at the doorway. "Please, sir come inside." Maryann's gaze turned towards her manservant and whoever it was at the door. He was very handsome and in a nicely tailored suit. He wasn't coming in, then a smile as the realisation hit her. A vampire? "Oh please, do come inside. Don't stand there like a fifth wheel."

Really, how could she forget a name so easily? Her feelings shook that sense of a question from her, when remembering that lapse in memory. It was Kyle! Though, she didn't know him all to personally; despite work and the paintball outing. At least this was the right house! It would be nothing short of embarrassing to be lost, after journeying all this way. Maybe the party could help that distant feeling? Well, she could add that to a list of hopes. Speaking of which, she chuckled to the "hint-hint" vibe that was given. It actually made her smile for a moment, until hearing a "interesting" sound. A scoff, now who would do that? A good question. Perking a eyebrow when turning to have a look. Oh. Great. HIM. Her sigh was low, though holding a gaze of "Ugh, you?"
She had no other reason to be bothered by him then: He was rude. If he could play the whole, "I'm not seeing you" game, in her opinion from the scoff: She could try the same. Via her previous action just now. "Maryann!" Now, she had somewhere to place her attention. A focus away from, well: On what had happened. Haylee returned the hug before offering up a small, "Thank you" token within a little bag. "Its coffee beans. That I sort of- Trailing off, gee-how to describe it? Got sticky fingers. Wandering hands. Borrowing and never returning? Yeah, last option wins! Although, it was all the same; the last one sounded better as she spoke. "Borrowed from Merlotte's." Other then this, she couldn't wait to mingle on into the party!

How quaint. Derek had been dedicated to the notion of "Pretty Little Miss Louisiana" not actually being there that night. He didn't see the glare she had given him, because he didn't care enough to look. He was quite stubborn and arrogant that way, after all.
The other two had gone into the house and left him behind. Stupid rules, annoying and irritating - sometimes he missed being a witch. He hated standing there like a sore thumb and he shrugged his shoulders to loosen up the tension.
He was about to clear his throat when he was addressed. Oh. What was this? His face remained static but he looked toward the beautiful - no, remarkable woman in front of him.
She definitely was not what she seemed and the only reason Derek had known this? Before he was a vampire, he was a witch. A witch who read and studied folklore, ancient rituals, gods and goddess, and had delved into the darkness. And oh, was this creature dripping with darkness. He had never felt anything like it - at least, not up close.
"Oh please, do come inside. Don't stand there like a fifth wheel."
That stupid comment made Derek's right eye twitch. He had walked in and walked right up to Maryann, bending down to lightly kiss the top of her hand. When he raised himself up, slowly, he offered her the slightest of smiles.
"While I am not that intrigued by some of your.. company, we shall say, I am most definitely intrigued by you, milady. Might I say, that dress does fancy you quite well and this place is most... exquisite."
Derek was drawn to power, and beautiful things. What could he say? He was a man, after all. He had stepped back from Maryann, his dark eyes quietly scanning over the surroundings. He had no use of the food, as much as looking at the spread had gave him a fleeting moment of enviousness.
From the sounds of it, the party was going to be moved outside.
"With such a celebration, may I ask what the occasion is?"

Kyle took the invitation and entered, after letting Haylee go in before him of course. They didn't have to wait long for Mayann herself to come down and greet them personally. She gave Haylee a hug but just settled for speaking to him, which he was glad for. He wasn't that much of a hugging person, at least not with most people.
And then a newcomer arrived, a dark man. Not physically dark, but a type of darkness that seemed to centre around him. He blanked everyone but Maryann, going straight for her, saying a line or two. KYle didn't pay attention to what the man said, he was just watching the man, something about him setting off alarm bells in his head. (OOC - sorry its crap, but i can not think lol)

The handsome Vampire took Maryann's hand, kissing it lightly. She smiled in response. He was very intriguing.
"While I am not that intrigued by some of your.. company, we shall say, I am most definitely intrigued by you, milady. Might I say, that dress does fancy you quite well and this place is most... exquisite."
Maryann felt her heart flutter a little. Compliments, oh how she could bathe in compliments if such a thing were possible. She looked down at her flowing white gown and back up to him, a sly grin. "Why thank you so much." she tilted her head to one side. "You are a charmer aren't you?"
She looked to Haylee and here eyes shone with happiness. "Coffee? For me? Oh Haylee you shouldn't have." she put her hands under the blondes chin. "But thank you....and stealing it too." she threw a mischevious sidelong look. "I am impressed."
"With such a celebration, may I ask what the occasion is?"
Maryann focussed entirely on this attractive specimen before her eyes. Alive or dead he certainly had a way about him. "Does there need to be an occasion to have a good time?" she brushed her fingers down his red shirt, her dark brown eyes never leaving his. she lingered for a moment before smiling broadly.
"Parties out this way!" and turned on her bare feet and walked out towards the back garden of her lavish home. Many of the natives were already there, intoxicated and enjoying every second.

"Why thank you so much. You are a charmer aren't you?"
Everything this woman did was alluring, the sound of her voice and the way she tilted her head to speak to him. She was a woman of pride, and she simply adored compliments - she made no effort to hide her pleasure, and Derek could do nothing but respect such an ego. To her question he offered her such a smirk, which only she would catch on as to just how devious it was meant to be.
"Only the ones who are worth charming."
Derek was abruptly reminded of the other company in the room. Haylee. And she had stolen coffee? This little blond who was a virtue of innocence and sympathy?
What a walking contradiction! Was there perhaps more to this blond airhead than Derek had anticipated? Was it even worth sticking around the girl long enough to find out?
"Does there need to be an occasion to have a good time?
Oh, wait a minute. He felt a slender digit against his chest and his eyes had caught her's. Just looking into this woman's eyes meant she needed.. no, - she commanded to be worshiped. Worship was a powerful thing.
"You never need an occasion to be bad"
His fangs slipped. He closed his mouth to hide them.
"Parties out this way!"
What a horrible tease! He was going to have fun with her, but as far as the humans? The energy coming off of them was enough to make him change his mind about staying around for too long.
It was still ever so amusing. He had followed Maryann outside, and took his place to lean against a wall - his dark eyes watching the crowd curiously.
He had to admit one thing, this woman sure knew how to throw a party.

Mmm, what a night last night was. Haylee and her talked all night in the lobby and Anouk forgot all about Derek. That Haylee had something about her, magical almost, she was a beautiful charmer. Wearing something classy yet casual she was about to walk up behind Haylee, placing a flirtatious yet oh so European kiss on her cheek, but felt that invisible barrier, and subsequently had to wait to be invited in by someone. Since Anouk had been spending time in Bon Temps, she decided to drop by this woman's house for a party and saw Haylee there too, it would've been rude to ignore the blonde. Not bearing gifts, she felt somewhat mooch-like, but from what she's heard of this Maryann, she was quite generous, loving and knew how to throw a party.

"You never need an occasion to be bad"
His emphasis on the word bad and the way his fangs shot out made her grin from ear to ear. He was exactly what this party needed. Someone who could embarass some of the cretins who leeched off her generosity. Someone she could keep her eye on and more than anything to entertain her.
"Mist..Miss Forrester" Carl's voice came tentatively towards Maryann. "There is another guest."
Maryann was about to sigh but she sensed the same feeling from this pretty female at her doorway, stronger but not nearly as alluring as the male of her kind. He was a different kind of bad. "Oh please, where are my manners. Come in please."
