(OOC: For time period this will be after Jack has come back from Dallas, so he will know Pam etc)
This night Jack had made a promise to work for Eric on the door. He was a little bored after his expedition to Dallas and the brief fun he had with the witch there was over. So why not take a night to work in the bar, it gave him something to do afterall. He dressed in his usual attire, a fine dark suit, though tonight he did not wear a tie and for good reason. A tie gave people something to grab and he didn't want anyone to ruin on of his silk ties.
He stood just inside by the entrance, smelling the air around all the people entering, nodding to the vampires as a sign of greeting and ignoring the fangbangers as he did so hate them. The tourists on the other hand were different, he despised them for treating vampires like zoo animals, taking pictures and pointing at them like they were exotic. Jack just wanted to kill them all, and he could, but then of course Eric would not be too happy.
He was here to keep order in the bar, among the vampires and the humans. Eric had told him some vampires took their feeding a little too far with the fangbangers and some were almost killed, which wasn't good for business when the police decided to come down. Jack really didn't see the problem, the humans were to be fed on, but then of course times had changed.
He stood, mostly still, except for a hand stroking the short beard as he gazed at the entrance, waiting for the next party of idiotic humans to come rushing in. That's when a V user entered, his eyes wide and desperate. Jack put a hand on his chest and shook his head. "Go home." He said authoritatively. "Wha- What?! I'm a customer!" He cried glancing around for help. "No you're a user of vampire blood and you are not welcome. Now run along before I tear out your liver and force feed it to you." Jack replied softly, though his words were menacing enough.
The user nodded slowly and walked out the bar. Jack rolled his eyes and shook his head. If this was all the fun there was to be had then it was going to be a dull night.

Pam rarely ever had a night off. She was more than a little pleased when Eric told her he wanted someone else to work the door tonight. This meant no tacky gothic black dress and that made her thrilled beyond belief. Most humans were offended if you put them in stereotypes but they could stand around thinking that she was into all this fake black bondage shxt and that was ok...please.
She entered through the back of the club per usual and made her way through the throng of people, dance 'humping' on the floor. Most of the time they looked simply idiotic but she was feeling a tad generous tonight so she ignored it when several humans reached out to touch her. "Ah sweetling, we mustn't forget absence makes the heart grow fonder...as in if you keep trying to touch me I will make your hand absent from the rest of your body and you will remember the fonder days of having one." The female vampire flashed a toothy grin at the little fang banger and the human squealed in delight. Everyone loved to walk and live a little dangerously from time to time.
She waltzed past the bar and as she did Chow slid her a B- True Blood. Her favorite type of the fake stuff. Nothing would ever beat a AB- human but she would settle for the synthetic for the time being. Pam drank heartily when she heard the new bouncer threaten to maim and dismember. Whoever they were, she liked the way they handled things. As she approached the entrance a familiar scent caught her. This was the vampire she met the other night with Eric. "Jack is it? Tell me, why would an upper class vampire such as yourself be relieving me of babysitting this evening. Surely you and yours have more interesting adventures to get into?"

Just as Jack was contemplating murdering everyone in the bar a vampire approached who he had met previously. Eric's second in command she had introduced herself as. She certainly had a swagger about her, a confidence Jack saw in few vampires. Even though they were eternal and powerful, Pam exerted a kind of authority that Jack only saw in the older vampires, like himself. She was certainly a true vampire, not one of these pathetic younger vampires who went around consorting with humans and falling in love.
"Pam." He said, acknowledging her presence as he turned around to face her, though he consciously kept sniffing the air each time someone passed. As much as Jack admired the way she presented herself, he had to also admire the way she knew her place in the scheme of things. She treated Jack with respect for being her elder and that would only help the relationship.
"Why not give you a night off?" He replied with a smile. "You're loyal to your maker, something I like to see, it's a quality we both share." He eyed the bottle of Tru Blood and raised an eyebrow. "The fake stuff? Pam," He started with a shake of his head, still smiling, "I thought you had taste. All these humans throw themselves at you and you choose to drink that?"

Pam chuckled. "I can't help what I am Jack and that is a stickler for the rules. No feeding on humans while on Fangtasia grounds...I wouldn't be much of a second if I couldn't adhere to the most important of all the rules."
Eric would tote her head around on a stick if he even thought that she would drink from a human at Fangtasia and she would probably let him. He would have to make an example out of her for ruining his business.
"Trust me Jack, I have many of the finer tastes. The vampiric nature suits me well. Besides having a fang banger as desperate as these is like eating road kill. No effort, no thrill, you might as well let me carry an I.V. around full of blood. However, I don't mind the sex..."
Pam found that sex with a fang banger was some of the better sex. They would practically do just about anything to please her and that always made the nights more interesting. "Tell me Jack, do you have a tasty morsel waiting for you when you retire?"

So she stuck to the rules? In the past Jack would have said that rules were meaningless to such higher beings as themselves, but with the revelation all the vampires had to be on best behavior. So feeding on people was looked down on, especially if the person had not given consent. It made the whole being a vampire life a little less exciting.
"Sex?" He asked with a raised eyebrow, glancing around at the humans. Jack was not really interested in sex, especially with a bunch of people who would fantasize over them. In fact the mere idea made Jack ill. At least Pam only wanted sex out of them, not a relationship. So it wasn't all bad.
"Me?" He replied to her last question, wondering what she implied by a tasty morsel, was she still talking about sex or about feeding on a human? "Well I have no one waiting for me when I finish here, especially any of these humans. I am not keen on the idea of them willingly throwing themselves into the jaws of death. The hunt was always my home and nothing will change my mind."

Pam couldn't agree more with Jack. "Don't get me wrong, there is nothing better than stalking your prey...every time feels like the first time...not liking sex though, what a horrible thing. Human flesh calls us in more than just one way Jack. Maybe you just haven't found the right fit."
There were only three things Pam loved about being a vampire, the hunt, the immortality and the mischief one could create. The rest of it was a bonus really. Pam smiled and thought a moment. "Tell me Jack, have you ever gone to Bon Temps? The place smells like an armpit but the people there...quite the opposite." Mischief was needed here with Jack. She liked him but felt as if he needed a little fun.

Pam seemed a little obsessed with having her way with the humans. Jack was a little concerned by her affection toward the humans, but then she could simply be using them for her own gain. Of course it didn't matter to the older vampire what Pam did with her humans, so long as it didn't affect him.
"The right fit?" He replied with a smile and shook his head. "No human will ever be the right fit." He added. There was only one woman that meant anything in his life and that was his maker.
"That rat hole of a town? Yes I have been there." Jack said, replying to her question about Bon Temps. Last he was there he had tried to be a model citizen, even to the point of attempting a relationship with a human. But that went wrong very quickly. "And the people need to be drained." He added with a grin. "Why? You want to go there tonight?" He asked with a raised brow.

Pam arched an eyebrow. He was quick to hate the humans, other than to feed of course. She couldn't remember ever encountering such a specimen. In a way it unnerved her a bit. He was different and different wasn't always a good thing.
However, he was Sekhmet's and she and Sekhmet were close enough for the human term of friends so logically this vampire wasn't a threat to her. She smiled as she thought of Eric. Pam knew that if anything happened to her, he would avenge her in a blaze of glory, destruction and pain.
"Jack, I hate to seem rude because as you are older and I would have much to learn from you but this...affliction you have with slatting your lust is a tad worrisome to me. Humans are food but there are some that may surprise you. I do not care to spend more time with them than is the necessary amount but..." Pam trailed off in thought. Sookie was entertaining and hardly cow towed just because Pam could kill her with a single blow. Maybe she was getting soft.
"Yes, I was wanting to take you to Bon Temps for a little appetizer, maybe some dessert. Cause a little mayhem and mischief however, this is Eric's area and we can not kill them. The queen would not be pleased and would make Eric's life an eternal h*ll. Since I swear my fealty to him, this in turn would make me very unhappy...I truly want to avoid that scenario at all costs."
She looked into his face. Pam hoped she hadn't offended him and sometimes wished she wasn't so blunt. She smirked a little. What Sookie said was true, no matter how hard vampires tried, they always seemed to keep a little sliver of their true humanity.

Jack simply smiled at Pam's worried remarks and shook his head slowly. She obviously didn't understand Jack's trail of thought. She had a point that humans did have more to offer then just food, they were certainly entertaining to fight and kill just for the fun of it. The thrill of a good hunt was where Jack yearned to be at any given moment.
Just as he was about to answer a group of fangbangers entered the club, all visibly excited by the prospect of meeting some real life vampires. Jack rolled his eyes and turned to meet them, eying each with similar disdain. They were the lowest of all the humans and as they passed Jack considered tearing one of their throats out to make a point. But then of course the repercussions would be immense and unpleasant.
He turned back to Pam, a snarl still on his face as he watched them head to the bar. "Humans, Pam, are nothing more then a tumor on this world. That's why vampires were created, we are the cure." He said with a grin, revealing his fangs.
"Going to Bon Temps would be interesting. But I have my duties here tonight, perhaps another night we might go?" He replied, the grin slowly fading. A psychotic vampire he might be, but a loyal one to his word. He told Eric he would work the door and that was what he was intending on doing.
"I hear one of those shifters owns the bar there." He said, almost spitting as he came to mention the shifter. "Never tasted them before, perhaps he might be an interesting choice? Don't you agree?"

Pam wrinkled her nose at the thought of Sam. He embodied everything that she hated about shifters. She would never touch him because that would upset Sookie, however...
"I have heard that, in fact I know him. He hangs around one of our human employees frequently. His name is Sam Merlotte. He would be a formidable opponent. I know he wouldn't go down with out putting up a h*ll of a fight. Sounds perfect for you Jack."
She listened about leaving tomorrow. "I agree that this evening would be a tad inconvenient. I wouldn't see the problem leaving tomorrow. Or if you would rather cause some trouble in Shreveport, I am game as well. There is nothing better than a good maiming right before dawn."

A shifter who could put up a decent fight. Jack was very interested now, after all it was so rare that he found a decent fight in anything other than another vampire, and even then you simply had to be older to be the stronger. For an old warrior like Jack he had not had a real battle in centuries, especially as the humans had developed the use of gunpowder, forsaking the sword. Still bullets did nothing to vampires, but he did miss sword fighting.
"Sounds interesting." Jack muttered with a smile, his mind wandering at the thought of a fight with a shifter. Perhaps he should pay a visit to him, just to see what the fuss was about.
As Pam spoke it brought Jack back into reality and he nodded slowly. "Sounds like fun. But again I can't leave here just yet, Eric would not be pleased if I left the entrance and bar unattended would he?" He sighed and glanced around. Nothing exciting was happening and if anything did happen it would be over in a flash. "So this Sam, what's he like? I should like to pay a visit to him one day." He said with a smirk.

Pam grinned. "You are absolutely correct. There would need to be some one else here watching the entrance before you took a break. He would wear your guts for garters...maybe even literally!"
As Jack queried about the shifter Pam curled her lip in disgust. "He is a pain the a**. He follows Sookie around like a puppy, yes he actually did that once, he hates our guts and his business makes a lot of money which is very annoying since they live in Satan's axxhole. Sam Merlotte is a self righteous fop who acts like we are dirt when really he should be thanking us or paying us a fee for keeping quiet about the two natured."
Pam smirked. "Oh how easy it would have been to say, Hello we are vampires, we do drink blood but we have a synthetic so do not worry about us killing you and by the way, your next door neighbor, the one who forgets to clean all the dog shxt in the front yard, that is because he has no dog, he is the dog and doesn't clean up after he goes diddle."
She chuckled at the thought of Sookie trying to clean up Sam's doggie doo doo. That would be something Pam was more than willing to pay to see.
