Kissing another man was usually an awakening to tell you hey, something is missing in your own relationship. She loved Sam, and she felt horrible about what had happened between her and Damian but she also liked Damian. Because Damian kissed her the way Sam used to kiss her. It was that moment when you realize so many things at one time, what you had done, was one of them - but why you had done it.. in this case, why she had kissed D' back.
Did that make any sense? Brandy was troubled in her head. Sam hadn't been completely ignoring her affections, he would never do that to her, but there was something troubling him. They hadn't even.. for lack of a better term, made love since that night she got beat up. Not even after Maryann had been destroyed and they were finally at peace again.
She wanted to, but there was always something coming up. Or he would change the subject. Or she wouldn't push it because he wasn't into it. Not to mention the whole sex dreams she kept on having of Jack every-single-night. She was having more sex with Jack, 'figuratively' speaking, then she ever had with Sam during their whole time they had been together!
Brandy had called her mother, the day after Maryann and Derek left town. She had wanted to tell both of her parents how much she loved them, and of course to ask her mom if she knew of a way to break the bond between vampire and, well, whatever she was to Jack. Turned out that Jack just had to release her from his hold, or if he wouldn't do that, she could use a vial of his blood to perform a spell of her own.
She didn't know why Jack hadn't released her yet, which was why she was here in Fangtasia, hoping that he would be kicking around somewhere. She felt like she knew Jack, more than she knew Sam - and that was a terrible thing. If worse came to worse, which she hoped wouldn't - Brandy would just go to the queen and, well, for lack of a better word "Tattle" on him.
A girl had to do what a girl had to do. She just hoped that once Jack had released her, that Sam would want to be with her again. This... feeling of.. loneliness was really starting to get to her. If Sam couldn't be with her completely, she hated to think that she would be better off to end things completely.

Pam swiveled silently on the bar stool as she felt Brandy's presence enter the bar. She arched a brow with curiosity. The witch hadn't come in here since a few weeks ago when Pam had scared her off. The female vamp smirked. That had been a fun night and she wouldn't forget easily the "pro vampire" witch.
Tonight Brandy seemed a little distracted and had the wandering aimless thing down pat. She approached silently and tapped the girl on the shoulder. "You seem lost little girl. Something I can help with?"

Days and days had passed since that night when Jack had stumbled across the witch in the woods. Since then he had had the strangest of times, sensing her movements and emotions, it was the first time in a thousand years he had experienced such feelings. And she certainly had been through some up and down moments recently. Such passionate moments in her life that Jack had been forced to experience at the same time. Obviously he had not felt the same emotions, merely he had been privy to how she felt and where she was, which was reassuring as Jack could not take the constant mood swings this human was having.
And now she was entering the vampire bar close to Jack's home. It seemed obvious to him that she needed to meet with him. So Jack would be happy to oblige. He dressed in one his fine suits, as he was wont to do, and left the nest to head to Fangtasia. In minuets he was at the entrance, and already Pam was entertaining the witch with her usual charm.
Instead of stepping on toes, Jack decided to take a seat at one of the tables in the corner, as to avoid the fangbangers attention and give Jack and Brandy some privacy.

A tap on Brandy's shoulder had managed to distract her, and she found herself turning around to come face to face with the vampire woman she had met during her first visit to Fangtasia.
"You seem lost little girl. Something I can help with?"
If anybody could take Brandy's breath away it was Pam. The woman was drooling with charm and sophistication - the kind that Brandy could only admire from afar.
"Oh, you are Pam right? Actually, I was looking for.. Jack"
She didn't want to go into too much detail with Pam, but Brandy had shifted her focus from Pam because she felt a sudden pull in the pit of her stomach. Jack was already here... wasn't he?
She spotted him, sitting alone at a table in the corner and her heart began to flutter. In fact, her whole body was starting to grow warm and her cheeks flushed a warm pink. Nervously she turned back to Pam, her head down suddenly as if she was forcing herself to stare at Pam's quite.. darling pair of shoes.
"I guess I found him.. please, excuse me for a moment"
Brandy looked up at Pam, trying to hide her obvious flustered expression. She offered Pam a slight curtsy and hurried off into the corner where Jack had sat. She wasn't very smooth when she slid in across from him, and that had caused a couple of fang-bangers to gossip about her frantically.
They were mostly surprised this strange girl had the nerve to sit with someone like Jack. Then they wondered what made her so special that the vampire wasn't throwing her across the room already..
Brandy just had her head down, forcing herself not to look directly into Jack's dark eyes.
"I need you to release me.. and I need you to do it as soon as possible."

When Brandy moved across to join Jack, he just smiled at her as she moved, lacking her usual grace. She was obviously a little shaken by the bond between herself and Jack, especially when they were in close proximity. The fangbangers seemed a little shocked that the old vampire was giving Brandy the time of day when usually he only spoke with other vampires. But then of course it didn't matter what they thought, though it was still amusing to see some of their jealous stares.
As she sat she refused to maintain eye contact with Jack and it suddenly occurred to him that she was scared of what might happen should she look into her eyes. He chuckled and lent back into his seat. "A little rude not looking at the person you're talking to, don't you think?" He said with a sly smile, knowing exactly what would happen when she gazed upon him.
As for releasing her, Jack had no plans to. It was fun having control over the spouse of the shifter, and it was something Jack had rarely considered before, and now he was finding it most enjoyable. Sam must be so worried that Jack would steal her away, of course he never would, Jack found humans dreadful, but the threat was enough to cause paranoia. In fact he would have to give Sam a visit soon.
"Release you?" Jack started with a shake of his head, "I don't think I can. And even if I knew how why would I? Do you not find comfort in knowing that I know where you are at all times and can come to your aid whenever?"

"A little rude not looking at the person you're talking to, don't you think?"
Brandy visibly shifted uncomfortably in her seat, her hand had reached up to rub against her arm almost nervously and as if she was trying to warm herself up. It was unusually cold in that bar, but it wasn't like vampires cared about the comfort of their human companions anyway.
".. you know very well I can't look at you without.. well, you know why I can't look at you Jack. Stop teasing me."
What a horrible feeling, Jack had complete control over Brandy - why, she wouldn't be surprised if he could command her to get up on the table and do a striptease for the whole bar! Sure, it was alright if you were a fangbanger or even a girl who was just with a vampire by choice.
But not Brandy. This wasn't fun for Brandy at all!
"Release you?"I don't think I can. And even if I knew how why would I? Do you not find comfort in knowing that I know where you are at all times and can come to your aid whenever?"
"Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the fact that you saved my life. I know you only did it because of my service to the queen, but you did it nonetheless. But the thing is, Jack, it is seriously affecting my relationship with Sam. Not to mention..."
Brandy gulped at what she was going to say next, both of her arms wrapping tightly around herself as if she was going to be exposed in such a way that she could never look at herself the same again.
She finally, after a moment, leaned over the table, cupping her hand around her mouth so that no one else would hear - still refusing to look Jack in the eyes as she did so.
"I've been having more sex with you than I have had with any other man. I'm afraid that any more, and I'll have to lock myself up in a nunnery."

Jack just laughed in Brandy's face and rubbed a hand through his hair. It was most amusing to hear Brandy speak of the connection in such a way and to hear the relationship with Sam was under pressure. He slowly shook his head with his laughter and sighed.
"My dear you would not find salvation in some nunnery. The Catholic Church claim to be celibate, but in my experience it is usually not the case..." He replied, thinking back to his experiences with the Inquisition in Spain. They certainly knew how to bend the rules.
"My final answer on the matter is simple, I do not know how to release you and to be honest I do not wish to. It's been too much of an interesting time recently and I am enjoying this experiment."

Pam's eyebrow shot up. The witch sought an audience with Jack...how interesting. She would be sorely disappointed because Pam knew that Jack despised humans, except for eating. Her head nearly snapped off when she felt Jack come in and watched as Brandy slid into the booth with him.
This was certainly turning into a promising evening. Pam quietly made her 'rounds' while listening to the conversation between them. Brandy apparently had a blood bond with Jack now and the witch had been working for the queen in Dallas. Eric would certainly be interested in this information and she could hardly wait until he arrived.
Pam decided to ambush the couple before she went outside to take ID's. "Hello Jack, you are looking as dashing as ever. I must commend your taste in clothing. You always have the finest thread count...is there anything that I could help you with? May I get you anything? I'd hate to see you suffer dear one." She gave him her most brilliant smile that offered gracious hostess. Eric wouldn't like it if she were rude to a guest.

Eric massaged his temples as he left the office. It was getting a bit tiresom dealing with the queen and her demands. He was older than her for crissake and yet as Godric had always said, 'Those who are in power got to be that way for a reason, no matter their age so you must always respect their power.' Even though Godric was gone he would always remember his master's words. They had gotten him through the last thousand years, why mess with what works.
As he stepped out into the crowd of people he noticed many things that were out of place. Pam was not at her station out front. This was unusual because she was very prompt as a rule and she knew it would displease him for her to be late. The next thing he noticed was that she was smiling, yes smiling, at someone who was sitting with a witch. Eric tended to dislike witches, mainly because they tended to constantly try to set him on fire, or remove a body part, which was annoying trying to grow back.
He slid silently across the dance floor and finally picked Jack's scent out of the crowd. This made more sense. Jack had glamored the witch and was going to kill her later. He highly approved of this thought and began smiling himself as he placed a hand on Pam's shoulder and nodded toward the group. "I had wondered what had stolen Pam's attention. She is very good about sticking to task, however, I can see now why she was detained." The girl sitting in the booth with Jack was very becoming and he wouldn't mind taking a taste later before things got to messy. Eric had heard rumor of Jack's warrior like ability.
Eric turned to Pam and spoke in swedish. "My childe, please do not delay yourself any longer. I will watch over them for now. As soon as your shift is up you may come back and join us." He ran his fingers through her hair casually as if every day at this exact time you could find Eric running his fingers through her hair. "I will also expect a full report of the happenings before my arrival."
He smiled brilliantly at Pam and moved around to be seated next to Jack. Eric looked from Jack back to the girl. This wasn't going to go well if they couldn't even remember formal introductions.

Pam felt Eric enter the main part of the bar and slowly work his way over to where the trio were stationed. The pressure from his hand indicated he wasn't angry as much as he was annoyed. When he spoke to her in their language she knew exactly what Eric was annoyed about. "I understand my master. I will give you all the details on my return."
She quickly left them to their own devices. Pam looked over her shoulder and smiled. He always knew how to make an entrance.

"My final answer on the matter is simple, I do not know how to release you and to be honest I do not wish to. It's been too much of an interesting time recently and I am enjoying this experiment."
Hearing those words out of Jack's mouth only succeeded in making the young witch very angry.
"An experiment?! is that what this is to you? A f*cking experiment?!""
Brandy was livid, if looks could of killed Jack would of been a bubbling pile of ooze in his very seat. Unfortunately, or maybe - fortunately, for Jack, Pam had approached the pair.
"Hello Jack, you are looking as dashing as ever. I must commend your taste in clothing. You always have the finest thread count...is there anything that I could help you with? May I get you anything? I'd hate to see you suffer dear one."
Brandy's eyebrow twitched. She had the right mind to kick him underneath the table she did! D@mn her and her manners, her 'need' to keep up appearances and not be rude. Jack was trying her patience.
And yet, another figure happened upon them. It wasn't anyone she had ever met before, tall - blond - incredibly good looking, definitely a vampire. He placed a hand on Pam's shoulder, and it seemed in his actions he really had no intention of leaving anytime soon.
Great. Just great.
"I had wondered what had stolen Pam's attention. She is very good about sticking to task, however, I can see now why she was detained."
Oh what a look he had given Brandy, - a look that caused her to blush, cough nervously, and stare at the table. And then thoughts of sex again drifted into her mind and her head shot up again toward Jack.
"Please tell me you can't will thoughts like that in my - -"
Brandy pulled away from that thought when she heard a very faint language she didn't understand coming from the blond vampire's lips. She hoped he wasn't talking about her, not much she could do if he was. Without an invitation, not that he needed one, but it would of been nice for him to at least ask - he had slipped into the booth beside Jack.
Well, at least he hadn't been so bold as to slip in beside her!
Brandy extended her hand to him, something she always did when forced to introduce herself. Rather he took her hand or not, was entirely his choice after all.
"My name is Brandy"
Short, casual, but at least he would know who she was and how he should address her. Quietly, she turned to Jack - she had no choice but to continue on the conversation with the other vampire sitting right there.
"Jack, you know I appreciate what you did for me - even if you only did it because I am in service of the queen, but you can't just.. you can't just have me wrapped around your little finger for the rest of my life! There are plenty of women in here that I am sure would love to have you know all their feelings, know where they are constantly, and to have wild sex dreams about you every night. But I am not one of them and I'm afraid, if your going to be stubborn..."
This was the part Brandy hated, the part she dreaded - but Jack really wasn't giving her any choice was he? Brandy didn't want to be the type of person that.. threatened anybody, especially vampires - it was bad karma. And it just wasn't who she was.
".. if you won't let me go willingly, then at least give me a vial of your blood so I can do the spell on my own. If you can't at least do that.. I'm afraid I might have to seek outside assistance, I might have to go to the queen. Or even your maker. But Jack, I like you. Not just because of the sex and the, oh my god - what am I saying? I mean, I like vampires. I have no problem with them and I am more than happy to carry on my service to the queen, but please.. can't you just.. pick someone else up, and let me go?"

After Pam and Eric had joined them, Jack could only help but smile as the "private" conversation quickly became public. Of course Brandy was not going to let that stop her wishful thinking and demands. Jack just chuckled at her threats and sighed, shaking his head slowly.
"If you must ask from the Queen then feel free. I honestly could not care." He glanced to Eric, still grinning.
"You see Eric, this one seems to be thankful that I saved her life when I could have finished her off there and then, and now doesn't want me to be a part of her." He turned back to Brandy. "I for one consider this to be rather rude. I did not choose to be at the right place at the right time. All I am asking is you indulge me in a side of vampire life which I have not yet experienced. Is that so hard?"
In honesty Jack was simply toying with her. Of course she could go see the Queen and no doubt she would demand Jack hand his blood over and he would have to oblige her. But for now he was having fun as she despaired over the issue. He leaned in closer to Brandy, the smile fading. "And why would I want anyone else?" He whispered to her, sniffing the air around her. "I could always go and discuss the matter with Sam?" He asked with a grin, his head cocked to one side mischievously.

Eric smiled. Jack had a blood bond with the witch...how interesting. The witch was also working for the queen, which meant that she had to be pretty powerful to keep the queen's attention for any amount of time. This girl would be one to keep his eye on.
"I would say that I should be surprised that a human has never had your blood but with your history towards humans...you are right. Brandy is very lucky to be alive, let alone an improved one."
The blonde vampire leaned back and placed his hands behind his head. "Jack, I must commend your choice, beautiful, smart and talented. She is almost as special as mine..." Eric couldn't help but grin at the thought of Sookie. "I actually think the queen would love the idea of being tied to you at all time. You are very special to her to have your own vampire body guard."
Eric's fangs were partially extended as he bowed his head to whisper for only Jack to be able to hear. "This is an opportunity for you...I know how you feel about humans but she is one you most definitely want to keep. I will speak to the queen on your behalf..."
He tilted his head sideways at Brandy. "I understand you want to try and mend things with your shifter...what is his name, Jim?" Eric knew Sam Merlotte but he loved to get a reaction. "What if this situation isn't meant to correct itself? What if you are destined for something greater than a shifter?"

"And why would I want anyone else?"
Bloody hell did she wish looks could kill right now, not even looks - if she was any less of a 'lady' she would jump over this counter and strangle him. Scratch that, being a lady didn't have anything to do with it - it was being sane.
Let's be realistic, did she think this was going to be easy? Maybe. Brandy was, lets admit it, a little bit naive when it came to vampires but Jack? Jack didn't scare her half as much as this 'Eric' guy did.
"I would say that I should be surprised that a human has never had your blood but with your history towards humans...you are right. Brandy is very lucky to be alive, let alone an improved one."
Brandy didn't say anything, she knew she was lucky, that was why she didn't go all 'temper tantrum' when he first hinted toward being entertained.
This was on her mind as she ruffled through her pockets...
"Jack, I must commend your choice, beautiful, smart and talented. She is almost as special as mine... I actually think the queen would love the idea of being tied to you at all time. You are very special to her to have your own vampire body guard."
"Uh.. thanks? But.. I don't think... I mean, I have Matty. I don't need Jack to be my bodyguard (she paused, quirking her eyebrow at Eric)... and are you trying to compliment me, or sleep with me?""
It wasn't like Jack chose her, he just happened to be at the 'right/wrong place' at the 'right/wrong time'.
"I understand you want to try and mend things with your shifter...what is his name, Jim?"
"Sam."
"What if this situation isn't meant to correct itself? What if you are destined for something greater than a shifter?"
For the first time during this whole conversation, Brandy's brown eyes narrowed angerily at the blond viking vampire.
"I am destined for nothing but the shifter. You bite your tongue. And Jack, your button has come loose on your jacket."
The 'thing' Brandy was reaching for her pocket? Nothing but a simple tiny sewing kit - like the one you get in a motel room. Actually.. she did, it had the name of the Dallas Motel written all over it.
Brandy didn't need some latin spell, the spell was "your button has come loose on your jacket". She leaned over the table, trying not to touch Eric (She was afraid he would try to glamor her or.. something.. if she looked at him too long) and quite diligently had sewn up the button on his sleeve. He might of felt the little prick, but it had been an accident after all... right?
"Sorry, the button is small"
She looked at him with a sigh, and lifted up his hand slightly for him to see the button was all fixed before she put the sewing kit back in her pocket.
"See?"
Now that she was back in her seat, she had turned back to Jack.
"Leave Sam alone. Of all the vampires in Bon Temps or Shreveport, you are the last one he would want to see. Ever. (looking toward Eric, a grim look on her face) And you, I am sure you have enough ladies in your harem to do you nicely - so don't even think about calling me up after this thing between Jack and I is over"
Brandy stood up, ignoring the whispers and the rumors going on around her. If one of these fangbangers tried anything - she would surely deal with them in her own way. Jack wasn't budging, Eric was all 'pro Jack" , Pam was all "pro Eric" and all the people around her were "pro vampires" so Brandy had no choice but to leave.
Lucky for her, however, she already had what she came for.

Pam had been waiting diligently at the entrance, checking ID's and making sure to give all the little humans a big thrill before entering the vampire club.
As a good second she had been listening intently to her master's conversation, making sure to take mental notes for when Eric would bring it up later. Pam worked very hard to make sure Eric didn't have to.
After hearing Brandy's retort to Eric Pam was stunned. This little witch had no idea what was going to happen now. This was just great. Pam would have to now trail two different women in Bon Temps and that really irritated her. When the witch made her way up to leave Pam would let her know exactly how irritated she was. Also after the whole button stunt, Jack was going to flip out and Pam would have to be ready for a fight. "Terrific Brandy, thank you for being amusing to a fault." Pam muttered under her breath.
A fang banger looked up at her quizzically 'Were you talking to me?' Pam pursed her lips and growled. "No cherub, I was talking to myself, now scoot before I get too crazy."
