Drat! Haylee's thought exclaimed, while she didn't mean to cause a sense of doubt. [As to purchase the rug or not]. Really, it was a wonderful and beautiful crafted rug! No complaint there. It was just the price that sent her into a loop, as she tried to comment on it. "Well, I-..um didn't mea- Now interrupted, more like: Saved by the bell, she could be at ease again! If anyone had to be such a word like "angel" it was Susana. Because, well, a angel always drops in at a unexpected moment. In order to make things right again, if not guiding those onto a path. Although, the sales pitch was over enthused for the occasion, that she actually giggled at Summer's response. Billy Mays, a guy with a certain voice to make you consider anything, by some of his pitches!
Heck, even arrangements to deliver the rug had been made. It seemed as if there was a moment to finally speak! " I guess, I'm just uh. Y'know." Pausing to find the right words, fingertips messing with an earlobe, "Used to spending money on fashion things." Haylee then shook her forehead, man oh man: She couldn't wait to see what happened next. In terms of any more purchases for Summer's home. Hrm, come to think of it: If someone was moving into a new home, you needed to give them a plant. A concern for a later moment, when trying to keep up with Summer.

Summer quirked her eyebrow at Haylee, "We all have our vices I guess. As you can no doubt tell from my fabulous wardrobe, I'm not really one for fashion." Sad, but true. Summer really never got into the whole clothes thing. When you're riding from place to place on a big old hunk of metal on two wheels, there really isn't much call for haute couture.
Summer paid for the rug and made all the delivery arrangements and turned back to give Haylee her undivided attention. "So, where to next?" Summer looked around excitedly. "I don't need big things, those have been ordered, I just need little things. Kitcheny things." Summer frowned. "I'm seriously no good at this home making deal."

True, everyone had their own devices; that either made them happy, or even unhappy at times. Haylee gently smiled and caressed a nod upon her forehead, signaling agreement. Haylee probably loved fashion a little more: Then she should. Despite loving it for the purpose of feeling "well traveled." Speaking of fashion, Haylee wondered on what her wardrobe had spoken about her. Hopefully something positive and nothing "stuck up" like. She'd like to think that she is: As far away from that word as possible. Hurrah, all of the little details had been settled, upon the rug that is! Whenever Summer had asked on where to head next, Haylee began to think of a few stores. Although, now limiting them when learning something, she was looking for smaller things.
She chuckled at the word, "Kitcheny" and expressed her interest. "I rather like that word, now." Commenting as if she intended to steal it. Hrm, kitchen-like things. "Ah, I know of just the place!" Haylee walked a small ways before turning and pointing in the general direction. Opening her lips to speak about said place, "Its right around there and I think it has some items, for kitcheny things." Oh yes, Stolen word. Really, all she had to do was to continue along and in no time: She'd probably be inside of the store.

"Excellent!" Summer grinned, actually grinned doubly as her muddling of words tickled Haylee's funny bone. "I'll follow your lead." Summer motioned for Haylee to show her the way to the place of kitcheny things.
Summer made a mental checklist of all the things she needed to get. Electric Kettle. Toaster. Pots n Pans. Crockery. Cutlery. Mugs. Iron and Ironing board and the most important thing of all, though not kitcheny in the slightest - CD's for the stereo system that she'd ordered in. Summer loved music and not having a whole lot of CD's since moving to Shreveport was killing her.
"We should totally get something to eat later." Summer spoke out unexpectedly.

"I haven't been into many stores, but I've heard some good feedback. Here N' there." Haylee noted, purely as a means to boost some confidence. Not to mention, she didn't want to appear like she had been just blindly going from spot to spot. She generally wanted to help, it was kind of awkward to be thinking about all of this. Yet, for some reason the feeling had seemed to pop up, questioning herself and kept on the right track. "Here we are." Haylee blinked whenever hearing the notion of getting something to eat. That brought a smirk to her lips, if not a soft giggle. One might not go out to eat with a stranger, that they just met but this felt different.
Kinda like getting to know someone through shopping, plus: You could get rather hungry while shopping. "I think, that's a lovely idea! Where to?" Wondering on where there could be a place to eat before glancing around the store. Boy, it's kinda funny how a store can seem like the grand canon; only in here: Everything looked so sleek. If not shiny and ready to be deported to wherever they're going. "Got an idea, on what you'd need in here?"

Summer grinned and patted her stomach, "Hell anywhere that sells food is good for me." It wasn't that late in the day, but Summer was famished. Blaming the measly croissant and coffee she had for breakfast. "I think I could gnaw the hind quarters off an entire cow right about now." and the funniest part of all, was Summer had tried to do that exact thing, in her wolf form of course. Not that she could tell the pretty blonde that.
Summer walked into the store with Haylee and her eyes widened with delight. It was kitcheny-thing heaven. "I have no idea, just gonna browse around and hope for something to catch my eye." and Summer did just that, going from aisle to aisle, shelf to shelf examining various equipment and other things of that nature.
Summer looked perplexed and turned to Haylee. "You see if there's anything to put some stuff in, like a basket or something. It's probably right under my nose, but I cannot see for the life of me where they are."

Hmm. Anywhere, huh? Haylee thought and slightly chuckled to Summer's comment, regarding a cow as to show hunger. So long as their meal didn't involve hamburgers or french fires, she would be okay. Not that she had anything against them, not at all! Its just for one day: she wanted to be free of their smell. Having worked at Merlotte's, you get bathed in a couple of familiar smells. She wanted something different and tried to think of a place to eat at. Browsing around until something caught your eye was perfect! It was time consuming and could give time to think as to where to eat at. As Haylee didn't arrive at a place to mention. It was kind of funny, getting a glimpse at some of these "kitchen aides." They looked as if they were torture devices.
"Basket, check!" Haylee repeated on what Summer had asked for and began to maneuver toward one. As she didn't have the muscle to begin carrying a bunch'o items around a store. She probably should have gotten one, the moment that she walked in but had her mind on food. Once she had appeared from wandering off to get a basket, Haylee commented on what Summer had said about things being under one's nose. Hard to find sometimes. "Happens to us all." A breif pause had entered before elaborating on experience. "Like me and car keys. They could be right in front of me and I'd miss it on occasion. If they could laugh, I'm sure they would."

"Thanks, I swear I can be as blind as a bat sometimes." Summer replied when Haylee handed the shopping basket over. It was yet another exaggeration. But what else was she going to say? Hey I'm a Werewolf don'tcha know? Summer chewed down on her thumb nail and looked around.
"Oooh!" Summer exclaimed and pointed. A simple thing to others, but the buying of new things for a new place was something Summer was unaccustomed to and she was actually starting to enjoy this shopping deal. "Matching kettle and toaster." and she hurried over towards it then stopped and slumped her head. "Oh God I'm becoming house trained." SH*T! The phrase just came out of nowhere when Summer wasn't thinking.

Haylee chuckled upon hearing the exaggeration, "blind as a bat" from Summer's lips and smiled gently. Yep, everyone had their "off" moments in life. Perhaps MORE then others, but still comforting to look at from her view. Before she could try getting back onto the subject of food, as in where to grab a bite: Summer's voice had surprised her. It was in a "ooh!" kind of tone, that brought Haylee to pay attention. Navigating toward a matching kettle and toaster; which she thought to be darling! Although, upon hearing the "house trained" comment, it kind of puzzled Haylee. Not exactly sure as to what it meant, well; sort of. The wording reminded her of a pet, when you tried to teach them on how to behave, within a comfort of home. Slowly, Haylee repeated the term that was used, a questional tone. "House trained, Summer?"

Summer's head was still slumped over when she heard Haylee's question. Awkward. Summer cringed slightly and her mind began working overtime trying to think of a snappy comeback. Nothing. No luck. No joy and she certainly couldn't just blurt it out to the girl. Haylee sure was a nice girl and maybe would understand and not freak out completely. But it wasn't a risk Summer was willing to take with the virtual stranger.
Her head slowly raised and a smile was on her face. She waved her hand in an effort to diffuse some tension. "House trained, yanno like domesticated." Summer was struggling to get just the right words out. Then it hit her. "I've never had a place of my own, I've either lived with someone or been on the road. So it's a bit of a culture shock to go from freedom to little miss domestic." It sounded dopey as hell, but it was at least the truth.

Haylee waited patiently until Summer had spoken, as to what her comment had meant; just a mere moment ago of mentioning "house trained." Though, she hoped that by asking: She didn't put her on the spot. Curiosity is a double edged sword at times, Haylee thought about calling off her statement, only: There was a answer. Domestication. Summer never really had a place of her own, it was either crashing with someone or to be on the road. Haylee could only relate in a small fraction, as she had lived in her truck for awhile. Did that even compare? She wasn't sure and didn't want to bring up that as of now. "It will get easier with time." Smiling. That's what "They," being most: have said, sometimes it isn't as easy. Though, trying should be worth it and then-her own tummy growled. "I'm hungrier then I thought!" Chuckling a little embarassed, as there was still shopping to do.

Summer frowned, her eyebrows drawing together and the bridge of her nose creased up. "I sure hope so. This is a huge thing for me and I'm doing it all on my own with no help from anyone." she paused to look at Haylee with a smile. "Except you of course and I appreciate you helping a complete stranger out, I do. But I'm proud I've done this by myself."
Summer heard Haylee's stomach growl loud and clear. Can hardly hide that with someone who has super sensitive hearing. Summer tilted her head over to one side and gave the girl a comforting look. "You wanna go get something to eat like now? I don't mind, I can pay for these things and come back later." It wasn't an act of complete charity, Summer herself had been feeling the pangs of hunger creep over her for the past 30 minutes.

"No reason, why you shouldn't be," Haylee began to note toward being proud and returned a smile; though not fully finished in terms of speaking. Talking was a nice way of forgetting that her stomach nearly spoke aloud, "It's a big commitment." In her opinion, it REALLY was! When thinking about a few things to go along with owning a home. Hopefully, it would turn into a big reward within the end of completion; responsibilities that is. Maybe one day, she could go through the same process! Speaking of helping, Haylee didn't mind when it came to being a extra pair of hands.
When it came to the subject of grabbing a bite to eat, she tried to protest; feeling like a bother."Oh, I don't kno- Interrupted by yet another tiny quake of hunger. "Strike two." She meagerly joked before shaking her forehead. Previously, Haylee didn't find a place to grab a bite; now it was given a more important task. "Thanks Summer! Can't fight and win today." A sad chuckle arose, slowly coming up with a idea as to where to grab a bite from. "Um, do you like Italian food?"

Haylee seemed to be denying her hunger, but it was all too much to fight and surrendered to the will of her pangs. Summer grinned when she mentioned Italian food. "Show me someone that doesn't like Italian food, and I'll show you a liar or someone who's just never tried it." now the thought was inside Summer's head. The thought of food, and really good food, made Summer's mouth water and her mind fighting with what she wanted.
"Right, okay. I'll go pay for these and we can go eat till we feel like we're going to explode." and with that Summer sort of skipped over to the check out with her basket of goodies and paid for them. Meandering back over to Haylee with two full bags. "Okay I'm definetly ready to eat." Summer looked towards the exit, "Lead the way."
