((OOC: This is set during the time Merlotte's is closed for renovations))
Sam was happy. Sam was really, very happy. In fact, Sam was ecstatic. All the problems were being left behind and he could focus on the one thing in his life he had neglected for so long. Brandy.
They had been through so much since getting together. Derek, Maryann, Damian, Jack. All of those things were being laid to rest. It was time to shower Brandy with the love she truly deserved. The plane journey from Shreveport was fairly uneventful. Which was wonderful for Sam. No issues was only a good thing.
The plane had landed in Dallas International and they were disembarking getting ready to pick there luggage. He turned to look at Brandy, his hand had barely left hers since leaving the trailer. He gave it a gentle squeeze. "I hope you don't mind us staying at the Silent Shore. It was the best deal I could get at short notice." he gave her a small smile.
He was keeping his excitement to a mimimum. Not wanting to give too much away. He had called ahead to the hotel to ask them for some special arrangements in there room. They didn't seem to think it was a problem. He just hoped Brandy liked what he had planned.

It was finally over, and Brandy was free. Free from Derek, free from Maryann, free from Jack.. she was still friends with Damian, of course, and that was something that made her happy.
Damian was a good friend, things might of got a little crazy for awhile between them but at least now - they had a strong friendship from it and Sam and her were able to finally come to terms with the under-laying problem in their relationship.
That problem of course, was Jack, and now that the blood bond was gone she was no longer having dreams about him. Thank god, because they were getting really weird toward the end.
And Sam, well, Sam had surprised her with two tickets to Dallas. It was one of the sweetest gestures and it made her forget about feeling bad about the whole kiss with Damian thing - which Sam of course, had forgiven her for in the end but she knew forgiving herself would take more time.
The flight over, Brandy had kept her head on Sam's shoulder, closing her eyes to catch a quick nap because she wanted to be fully alert during their time together in Dallas. It was a relief when they were safe on the ground and Sam had his hand securely in Brandy's and she couldn't help but to squeeze his hand before she leaned over to kiss his cheek gently.
His stubble tickled her lips and she let out a soft laughter.
"I hope you don't mind us staying at the Silent Shore. It was the best deal I could get at short notice."
"Aww, hun, you could of stuck us in some run down motel and it wouldn't matter to me. As long as I was with you"
Still, Brandy caught that curious spark in his blue eyes and she leaned into him really close.
"You have something planned don't cha? Come on Sam, you can give me just a wee little hint, can't cha?"

And Brandy meant it too. But that wasn't how this trip was going to be. Only the best and finest things for her. She leaned in close to him, her brown eyes twinkling at him.
"You have something planned don't cha? Come on Sam, you can give me just a wee little hint, can't cha?"
Sam smiled and shook his head at her. Raising his free hand to shake his finger at her. "Nuh uh. No hints. No nothing. I'm not going to ruin anything by even giving you the slightest clue." he leant down for a small kiss. "I want the look on your face to be precious. If I give you a clue, your mind will wander and you'll spend the rest of the way to the hotel trying to guess."
The cases came round and Sam let go of Brandy's hand to collect them. He looked round with a cheeky grin. "Time to go get a cab to the hotel."

. "Nuh uh. No hints. No nothing. I'm not going to ruin anything by even giving you the slightest clue."
Brandy pouted, well.. it was a fake pout but she tried her best to be cute with it. Her pout was quickly changed when Sam's soft lips pressed against her own. Lord, did he have to taste so good? Being in love so intensely had sometimes made her want to stand back and just bask in the entire moment.
"I want the look on your face to be precious. If I give you a clue, your mind will wander and you'll spend the rest of the way to the hotel trying to guess."
At that Brandy couldn't help but to laugh.
"You really know me too well Sam"
"Time to go get a cab to the hotel."
"Should I show a little leg?"
Brandy was grinning wickedly, but the truth was.. there was always a line of taxis waiting by the doors at airports. A free one was easy to spot and she nodded toward it as the taxi driver got out of the car and opened the door for her.
Eagerly she crawled into the back, waiting for Sam to join her.

"You really know me too well Sam"
That made Sam just grin. Things really were getting back to normal. Maybe even better than normal. Sam carried the two suitcases out towards the line of taxis. He couldn't stop smiling. To have a day without worry, even bar related was a good day.
"Should I show a little leg?"
Sam smirked at her. "What? And give the drivers all heart attacks" Sam's eyes followed downwards towards her legs. "Best keep them under wraps....for now." he knew Brandy would understand exactly what he meant and he was determined to make up for lost time. They both deserved a little fun.

"What? And give the drivers all heart attacks"..
Brandy had smirked, but that smirk turned into a deep blush when she felt his eyes looking down the length of her legs.
"Best keep them under wraps....for now."
For now. That look in his eyes, the way he spoke... her heart raced just thinking about it as she adjusted herself in the seat. In her mind, they wouldn't be at the motel fast enough.
