Summer stepped out of the shower and wrapped a large white cotton towel around herself and stepped into the main room and turned on her CD player and smiled to herself as she got ready. Finding herself singing along to the songHer outfit was already picked out and laying on the bed. Hopefully she would be able to get her make up on and dressed in time for Brandy's arrival. Summer was excited, she hadn't seen her best friend in a while and desperately wanted to catch up with everything. Summer looked over at the mini-bar, proud that it hadn't been refilled since she'd asked the motel not too. It was far too much of a temptation and Summer was determined that she was going to stick to her tee-total ways. There was no way she was going down the same route as her mother. Once Summer applied her make up and perfume applied. It was time to put on her outfit for the night. Summer gave herself the once over with a smile. It wasn't too dressy, but not too casual. All Summer needed now was Brandy.

Lately, it had been hard for Brandy to be away from Sam for even more than a few hours. She didn't care that most people didn't understand her feelings but if they understood what they had been through than maybe - they could understand why Brandy was always wanting him.
Even now as she walking up to Summer's hotel room, dressed in a lilac summer shirt and white jeans she couldn't wait to get to the bar to see him.
Brandy's perfume of choice? She ditched the vanilla scents and had switched to Incognito perfume, a scent that she was sure would drive Sam's senses reeling.
It was a grand reopening after all with drink specials, music, and a good time. She planned on keeping Sam to herself all night because she was sure some new blood would be wandering in. Why was she worried when she knew Sam was in love with her as much as she was in love with him? It was just a thing, Brandy guessed.
By now she was at the door, listening to the smooth voice of Nickelback that was playing behind the door. She knocked loudly - the sooner they could get to the bar, the sooner she could be next to Sam again.

Summer dropped her hair brush as a knock at her room door made her jump out of her thoughts. Summer smiled and went to the door, having a quick glance through the peephole. She had to be sure, especially with Travis knowing she was in Shreveport. Summer pulled the door open quickly and wrapped her arms around her friend.
"B!" Summer pulled back and invited Brandy inside the room, "You look great. I wasn't sure how I was gonna take the short hair, but it looks really good on you. Might take me a while to get used to it though, so if I'm staring at'cha that'll be why"
Summer closed the door behind Brandy and looked a bit awkward. "I'd uh, offer you a drink. But I asked them to empty the mini-bar." Summer flopped down onto her bed and a smile creeped over her face. "So..." she said waggling her eyebrows, "How was Dallas?" Summer patted the bed so Brandy could sit next to her.

"You look great. I wasn't sure how I was gonna take the short hair, but it looks really good on you. Might take me a while to get used to it though, so if I'm staring at'cha that'll be why"
Brandy had smiled warmly, giving Summer a tight hug when she opened the door for her. Brandy gave a sort of 'yeah I know' face and ran her fingers though her short hair.
"I really think Sam misses my long hair. I miss it too, so I'm going to grow it out again."
"I'd uh, offer you a drink. But I asked them to empty the mini-bar."
Brandy only laughed at that, remembering the day she got sh!t-faced in Summer's motel room.
"How was Dallas?"
Brandy sat down, joining Summer on the bed.
"Positively wonderful. Wonderful and so romantic, he actually had phoned ahead and had the hotel staff decorate our room with rose petals and candles.. we had a wonderful time together."

Summer grinned, it was so good to see her friend so happy. Brandy and Sam had been through so much in there short time as a couple. But they were so into one another and fought hard to stay together. Only the cold hearted could be against them. "I'm glad you guys had a great time. You both deserve it."
Summer let out a small sigh, her head lowered then looked back up to her friend. "I gotta be honest though B. I'm a little envious of ya." Summer wasn't often one for showing her vulnerability, but she knew she could tell Brandy anything and she wouldn't think any less of her. "Not of you or Sam, but of what you both have. Sometimes I think I'm just destined to be painfully single for the rest of my days."
This wasn't Summer wallowing in self-pity, she genuinely was convinced she was going to be an eternal singleton. Summer looked towards the bar. Summer half-wishing it was still full up with miniture bottles of alcohol. But fully knowing, it was not a good idea. Drinking to solve problems or take them away even temporarily is what got her mother into the mess she was in. Summer was determined she would never be her mother.

"I'm glad you guys had a great time. You both deserve it."
".. you have no idea. Just be glad you live in Shreveport and you weren't involved in the big Maryann mess. Watching Sam almost die right in front of me? Not my idea of a spanking - good time! But, the important thing is... we made it."
There was so much more than Summer realized. Not just with Maryann, but with Derek and Sam - Damian, and Jack. Brandy and Sam were up to their ears in drama 95% of the time. At least now, things seemed to be calm.
Brandy just hoped it wasn't the calm before the storm.
"I gotta be honest though B. I'm a little envious of ya."
Brandy was actually surprised to hear those words from Summer's lips. What reason would Summer have to be envious of her?
"Not of you or Sam, but of what you both have. Sometimes I think I'm just destined to be painfully single for the rest of my days."
Brandy paused for a moment, she could honestly understand where Summer was coming from. Summer was her best friend, and she deserved love - she shouldn't have to be lonely anymore.
"I think.. I think I might be able to help with that."
Brandy had stood up and turned toward Summer, lightly bending down to kiss the top of her forehead as she reached around her neck and took off her necklace.
The necklace hung loosely from her fingertips and she brought it up eye level, watching the emblem twirl effortlessly.
"I have a spell... it's not a love spell. It's a.. find a lost true love spell. I truly believe there is someone out there for everybody. That everybody has a match, it could be that you either have already found them.. or that they have yet to find you. There is no doubt in my mind that I have found my true love.. so lets find yours"
Brandy had left the motel room, holding up a finger for Summer to tell her to wait where she was. She had gone outside, Summer's necklace still in her hands as she closed her eyes.
" dea of diligo , EGO scisco vos iuvo meus amicus Estas reperio suus verus diligo tonight. Beatus suus per totus vestri uranicus munia quod sino suus sentio diligo iterum " "Goddess of love, I ask you to help my friend Summer find her true love tonight. Bless her with all your heavenly gifts and allow her to feel love again"
Once the words were said, Brandy went back into the motel room and handed the necklace back to Summer.
"Alright there chicka, you ready to go? I can't wait for Sam to see just how friggin awesome my @ss looks in these jeans!!"

"I think.. I think I might be able to help with that."
Summer looked over at Brandy with a confused look on her face and before she got a chance to enquire, Brandy was on her feet. She kissed Summer on the forehead and unclipped her pewter Wolf necklace and held it up and gazed at it.
Summer began to shake her head. "I don't think it'll be that simple B..." Summer began to muse how to explain that the only man in her life that ever truly loved her, was dead. "...Listen..."
Brandy was already moving towards the door, holding up her finger to get Summer to stay put. Summer let out a sigh and flopped backwards onto the comfy mattress, sinking into the white duvet. She really appreciated the gesture, and knew just how powerful Witches were, especially Brandy. But a love spell? Summer was doubtful about the whole thing.
"Alright there chicka, you ready to go? I can't wait for Sam to see just how friggin awesome my @ss looks in these jeans!!"
Summer stood up as Brandy entered the room, taking her pendant back and putting it back round her neck. "Sure, we taking your car or mine? No point in both of us driving back out there." Summer stood and tilted her head to her friend. "B, listen. I appreciate that you want to help but, I think I'm a lost cause."
Summer immediately changed the subject and snapped herself back to normal. "With your A and my T, we're just too d*mn good." she grinned at her best friend. "Let's go knock 'em dead."

"Sure, we taking your car or mine? No point in both of us driving back out there."
"We should probably take both, unless you plan on spending the night in Sam's trailer with me"
Brandy laughed at that, though it was true - it would be easier if they just took their separate cars. If worse came to worse for Summer though, she could just stay at the duplex with Kaelyn.
"B, listen. I appreciate that you want to help but, I think I'm a lost cause."
Brandy looked over her shoulder toward Summer, a disapproving look on her face.
"With that kind of attitude, your going to be."
Brandy knew Summer was in a slump, but if she kept on feeling sorry for herself the 'right' man was just going to pass her on by!!
"With your A and my T, we're just too d*mn good. Let's go knock 'em dead."
Finally! Brandy was grinning, this whole time all she had wanted to do was get to the bar and pounce Sam to the floor! She had her own greeting in mind for him, and it was going be.. an interesting one. She looked over at Summer with a grin before she climbed into her own car.
"I'll meet you there, hot stuff"

"We should probably take both, unless you plan on spending the night in Sam's trailer with me"
Summer giggled at that idea. "Oh imagine the gossip restarting if that ever happened." Summer nodded, "I'll just hop on my bike. If I'm supposd to be meeting the man of my dreams, may as well arrive in style." Summer winked at Brandy.
"With that kind of attitude, your going to be."
Summer threw her hands up in mock despair, "Alright, alright. I get it already" she poked her tongue out at her friend as they walked out into the parking lot. Brandy was getting into her car and Summer was climbing onto her motorbike.
"I'll meet you there, hot stuff"
Summer froze. That phrase, 'hot stuff'. Brought back so many memories. Good and bad. It had been over a year since she last saw him. Summer mentally shook herself out of it and put on her helmet. "Not if I see you first." Summer gunned the engine of her large silver Kawasaki and sped out of the motel parking lot and onto the road to Bon Temps.
