Secrets of the Forest
The night was silent and the air was still, with a moon risen high into the sky. Alex described the night as tranquil, or peaceful. Not many nights knew such peace as this, to Alex's knowledge. Texas was a far different place than this back-water "village". Alex saw the difference clearly.
And the difference was comforting. "This could be something Dallas never was," Alex murmered to himself. He rose a hand to his chin as he walked, skidding his heel along the road every-so-often. Although, he thought, Dallas is much more accepting of my kind. It would be tough to come back into the limelight in a place such as this. But then, Alex coudl thrive most in a place where he had to learn to break out of his shell. There was much thinking to do on this matter.
He looked up to the sky, eyes capturing the crescent moon in their grasp. In that moment where the gleam of the moon shined in his eyes, Alex could picture himself so many years ago. He felt twenty two for a moment. If only it could have stayed that way.

There was really no reason to be in Bon Temps, it was not exactly the 'happening' place, but then again, quite a few things had been 'happening' around there. Many vampires lived in Bon Temps along with Bill Compton and his telepathic lover, Sookie Stackhouse. Sookie had managed to create quite the reputation, most vampires in the Shreveport area knew of her and her powers.
Still, it was a nice night for a walk away from all the city commotion. Sue wore a long black dress with gold bracelets, a necklace and rich golden earrings, she was a sucker for appearances. Her Hair was wavy and gently tickled her pale skin around her collar bone. She heard a voice as if it were right next to her and saw someone a little bit far off. By the smell of it, he was young, and by the smell of it, he was a vampire. Deciding that some conversation with a youngling would be fun, she approached him.
"I did not know we had such a young vampire in this area," she said when she reached him. Of course, Jessica Hamby was the youngest, but no one had been between Bill and Jessica's age in Bon Temps. Of course, Sue could not keep track of all the vampires, but this one had something about him that struck her as odd and it was enough to strike up a conversation.

Alex spun around in response to the woman's words. His mossy green eyes zoned in on her, analyzing even the smallest ruffle of her black dress. She was dressed elegantly, as opposed to Alex's very common choice of clothing; he wore a brown button-up shirt with thin, vertical beige stripes, and navy blue jeans. His black belt and tennis shoes were the finishing touches to this man's "commoner's attire". He gulped lightly, a little nervous by the presence of another vampire.
"I-I'm sorry," he began his reply, "I am not from around these parts. I am Alexander Marcs, from Dallas, Texas." He averted his gaze. The gleam of the moon's light reflecting off of the woman's golden bracelets did catch Alex's attention again, and he rotated his gaze from the bracelets, to her face, to the side of the road. Being in the presence of another vampire was something he hadn't expected so soon, or so suddenly. It was probably just the naivete of a young vampire.
"I'm afraid I do not know who you are, Ma'am," he concluded, trying to shove away the attention on him. He wanted to know who he was talking to. She was indeed vampire; Alex could tell by her scent. But what importance was she to this place? It was unfortunate that he was so out of the loop.

Eric found himself spending most of his free time thinking of ways to trick Sookie to taking more of his blood. This required several trips to Bon Temps to be in the area just in case something were to happen. As he lurked in the dark he shook his head. "I must be crazy. She is a girl and nothing more. Why am I here? I am no desperate human male. I am Eric Northman, great sheriff of area 5." He started to leave when he caught a familiar scent.
"Sekhmet, this is such a surprise. What does this quaint town have to lure you away?" His attention was turned to the young vampire. "I see, I never thought you were one who enjoyed the company of a younger vampire unless that was the company of Jack or Ahmose." He smiled at her. "Who is your young friend?"

Belle was driving down the parish road on her way to her new home. She was coming home from Fangtasia and all she wanted was to sit inside and do nothing. Hopefully not seeing that vampire from earlier that night. On her way she saw the sheriff, as well as a woman vampire and a male vampire she stopped her car and parked. She wanted to know these people.
Belle got out of her car and walked up to the little group. "Hello Sheriff," she nodded towards him while looking up at the others and nodding a tad bit to them as well. "I don't think I had the pleasure of ever meeting you two.

As if this new vampire had a giant sign above his head that stated MEET ME, Eric Northman and another younger vampire approached. At first, Eric spoke out, wondering why she was around such a young vampire. Of course, it was always the initial reaction to automatically assume that just because she was talking with another meant the two had spoken before. Still, it did not matter that much, he was the Sheriff, she was respectful.
"The children are at home," she said as if Ahmose and Jack were the children she was speaking of. "They've been fighting lately and it was time for me to get away from it momentarily," she admitted, with what seemed to be a frown. Jack and Ahmose had really been butting heads recently.
Then came the other vampire who mentioned that she had never met Sue and Alex. "Seems I have two introductions to make," she said slowly, slightly leaning her head down in a subtle bow. It was not that she was less than the two vampires in front of her, but it was something she had become so used to, responding to someone's presence with a bow, so much for being Egyptian. "As Eric has said, I am Sekhmet, but you are free to call me by my Americanized name, Sue."

"Uh," Alex let out quietly as he stepped back. He didn't like the newfound attention being placed all on him. At least, not by this crowd of "people". He looked from Sehkmet, to Eric, to the new girl. Alex was quiet for the moment, letting them finish speaking before he announced again, "I am Alexander Marcs from Dallas, Texas."
His gaze fixated on Eric for a moment, before he looked off to the side with nervous eyes. He knew now one of the people in his presence was the Sheriff for this area. Not only that, but he was in the presence of a woman who was speaking about her "children". Alex could deduce that they were the ones she made into Vampires. He almost cringed at the thought, but he regained composure.
"It's nice to meet you all," Alex commented. It was half of a lie. It was not nice to be around other vampires, but it was nice to know who not to hang around. He would just have to keep an eye out for them.

Belle looked up at the two vampires that seemed to be introducing each other. "Well nice to meet you Sue, Alexander." She began to feel weird in this presence of vampires. She didn't care for them, well except for her best friend Jessica but she was farly new and fun to be around.
"I am Belle Rowan. I live down the road," she said explaining the reason of her being here in the middle of Renard Parish. And she looked at Alexander as he cringed, wondering why that was. She only cringed when someone mentioned Annabelle.

Eric crossed his arms and took the vampire in. "I am bored now. Belle, please, spare us your happy tither. I wonder how you are even a vampire."
He ran his fingers through his hair to make sure they were all in place. "Dallas you say, are you in touch with Stan or Isabella?" Eric had wanted to ask the young vampire if he knew Godric but it was still a little soon for Eric to think about.
"How long are you planning on staying in my area, what was your name again? I really hope that you are planning on doing something diabolical in Bon Temps. My routine has become a little monotonous as of late." Eric flashed a bit of fang at the new vampire. "I am longing for a good fight."
