Belle was so happy when she received the phone call when she woke up from her days sleep. She even found the perfect outfit for her first day. Her only dress code was that it had to be black and red and she had the perfect outfit. She through it on and rushed into her car, leaving a message to Jessica of where exactly she was going to be and for how long.
Belle was looking at all her delicous merchandise that she was going to sell. There was Ragedy Ann Dolls, Putty, Space Hopper, Small Friends and other toys. They also had many candies for the Vampires humans and old style clothes. Belle was finding the place one of her favorite places here in Bon Temps. And she was working here. She couldn't wait to greet her first customer.

The door swung open, and Alex stepped into the thresh-hold. Like any other day, he was dressed for any occasion; he wore a long-sleeved white shirt and navy blue jeans, topped off with matching black tennis shoes and a belt. His mossy green orbs scanned every inch of the store before he took another step in; he was wary of a new social establishment. Last time he had gone out by himself, an array of vampires had suddenly found him.
And one of those vampires was standing in the store at that very moment.
Alex's head shot up, and his eyes locked onto the girl. She had been on Renard Parish Road that night with the two others. "Y-you," he commented to the girl. He was a little hesitant -- nervous even -- to be talking to her. Vampires were not his favorite socialites. "You were on Renard Parish Road, correct?"
At least Alex was making the attempt to converse. He moved closer to her, only being separated by the counter between them.

Belle looked up as the door rung noting how someone just entered. She had a smile on as she noticed the same young vampire who she met at Renard Parish not to long ago. "Yes. The name is Belle." She twirled around the counter and towards the young man. She had a cd playing an array of dancing music so she could dance around the store. "What brings you here?" she asked politely. And held her hand out to him.
Belle wasn't one to be mean or snobby and defiantly not to a very shy vampire at that. She was probably one of the nicest vampires alive and she had yet to see anyone like her. "May I help you look for something," she smiled brightly. "We sell many things from the olden days. Or things you looked at and loved from your vampire past."

Belle... He watched her as she moved; she was so in sync with the tempo. He had never seen a vampire dance in such a way that didn't appear to be spasms. He took a hold of her hand and replied to her, "Just browsing."
He looked at her as she spoke. It was somewhat humorous to see her trying to sell him something in the store the way she was. Her hold on his hand reminded him of a cliche in old vampire movies, where the vampire leads his victim into his domain. Was that the truth behind retail?
"Unless that CD player is on sale, or there is another like it," Alex began, "I'm not sure there is much else for me to buy in here."

Belle laughed and looked up at the vampire,"Well browse away," she stepped back and danced her way to the back of the counter. She watched him carefully as he spoke to her. "Well....I have two in the shop in case one broke." Belle smiled her most beautiul smile. "But...it's not really for sale..." she smiled playfully. "But sense it's mine...I guess if you want the extra I can give it to you...at a reasonable price."

Alex slowly dropped his hand and followed Belle with his eyes. She was kind; she was more kind than any vampire Alex had ever known before. He let his stiffened face crack at that moment, to show Belle his teeth. Not his vampire teeth, mind you; his regular ones. For the first time since he arrived in Bon Temps, Alex smiled. "Well then," he started, "What do you want for the spare?"
He rested his arms on the counter as he leaned over it. It was possible that Belle was about to find herself to be Alex's first friend in Bon Temps (and his first true friend at all). He'd met many humans that he thought were wonderful people. However, none of them managed to maintain friendships with him. Gabrielle, his Maker, had seen to that. She was a greedy vampire, and tried to keep Alex to herself.
He wished that Gabrielle had never turned him.

Belle was looking at the store, she couldn't believe she was actually working here. There was no point in hiding her identity now that she heard Anna was here already. Lost in thought she didn't even notice that Alexander walked up to the counter. Belle looked up at the sound of his voice, but almost scared.
He surprised Belle and not in a good way. She didn't want to know what was her price going to be. She wanted to go somewhere with him, but where. Then it hit her, Merlotte's was having a Halloween Party. "Well.." she said a little to quietly. "There is this Party coming up on Halloween."
Belle danced her way around the counter and to him. "Would you like to go with me?" Belle was nervous and didn't know what she was gonna do, she was thinking no matter what he said she was going. And she needed to go to Pam's.

Alex raised an eyebrow as curiosity about the party hit him. He was also a little surprised that he was being asked to accompany Belle there. "You would like me to accompany you...?" he asked, just confirm what she had proposed. But he wouldn't give her to time to reply. He answered her, "I think that can be arranged."
He smiled, actually happy to be in Belle's presence. I haven't felt like this is a long time. "Are there any..." he began to run off into a brief moment of thought, "...you know... requirements to the party?" The one thing Alex was a little embarrassed to do was to dress up for the occasion. It would be dreadful.

Belle almost laughed at the surprise in Alexander's voice, she wanted to know if she could call him something else. "Um.." but before she got anything out he began asking a question and it made her look at him. "Ye.." and he kept talking. She giggled and looked up through her lashes. She smiled up at him in complete surprise that he said yes.
"Well the only major rules...."she smiled. "Is you must have a costume and a vampire may be a vampire...that's the only exception." Belle giggled and looked at him trying to imagine him in a costume. "I was gonna be me...back when I was a human." Belle smiled picturing herself in her really old dress...
"There's a shop in the Vampire Hotel in Shreveport and a vampire named Pam has awesome clothing in it." She smiled looking down at her dress, it's not the one from Pam but she had many. "I get most my clothes from there and that's were I was planning on getting my costume from."

He looked off to the side for a moment when she told him it was a costume party. Unfortunately, Alex was not very good at dressing up for those kinds of events. However, he looked back at Belle with an interest in accompanying her. I guess I can make the exception. He held his smile, and listened as she unveiled the name of a vampire associated with her. "Pam" was not somebody Alex was familiar with.
"Does Pam make clothing for men as well?" he asked. If he was going to get a costume, Alex was set to get it from the right peopl-- err, vampire.

"I am pretty sure she does." Belle knew Pam was an outstanding vampire. Loving and fun..though maybe not as nice as Belle but she's a vampire. You can't expect any different.
"What brought you here to Bon Temps?"Belle never was able to ask him the other night. When they met the first time. Belle twirled around the counter to stand next to him. No one was buying anything..no one was here.
That's when she remembered the cd player. She twirled to the back room to grab it and twirled back to Alexander. "Here you go. That will be attending the costume party with me," she smiled being very professional.

Good. He would have to find Pam's store and look for something. Alex toyed with the idea of being a warrior from the ancient civilization of Troy. That was his favorite period of time, even though he wasn't there to live it.
"I came here to see if it was suitable for living," he replied to her question. That was the truth; Alex wanted to find a new place to live. Dallas wasn't exactly the place he wanted to be lately, and it looked like Bon Temps was a lot better in terms of living. Well, in terms of "living".
When the CD player was presented to him, Alex took it and smiled at Belle. "I'll pay that in full, Belle. Of course, I should know our meeting arrangements for the party. When shall I go to see you before the party?"

Belle giggled and if she was human she would of blushed. This vampire was sweet and different. He wasn't like Jessica, but fun to be around still. "I came for the same thing." She came for a bigger purpose but she wasn't going to explain that to a stranger.
"We can just meet up there." she smiled. "It's at Merlotte's." Belle grabbed a pin and paper. She wrote down directions from Renard Parrish. "Here this is how you get there from the road we met on and the address and my phone number. Just in case."
Belle loved to dance and if he was going to go with her he was going to have to dance. "You better know how to dance," she grabbed his hand. She began to lead him hoping he would know what to do and lead her.
