When Rose had first walked through Bon Temps she hadn't paid much attention to what was around her. Now, in the dead of the night, and time on her hands. she looked around and took in the town. Some shops now seemed to be staying open a bit later, but that wasn't what she was interested in. Through the times she had lived she has watched towns grow and fall, it always interested her how humans lived. Even more so when she considered how different it was to how she was raised. She also considered how easier it was now to lure someone off in the dark if she so wished...but no she had decided she was going to try and mainstream when she had left her nest. Of course that didn't always make it easy, she almost felt like they were lining up for her. And she had to admit to herself she had slipped once or twice since, though not so much to completely drain a human, just a taste.
Bon Temps was not such a large town, she could imagine most of the neighbours knowing what the other was up to. Humans were a very nosy bunch, for all the length they lived you would think they could find something more interesting to do, but you would be surprised by how many places like Bon Temps there was.Or maybe not. It wasn't everyday you met someone like Sookie Stackhouse, the reason Rose was interested more and more in Bon Temps.
Rose looked around and found herself outside a small diner and decided to take a seat a the conveniently placed tables. She didn't quite feel up to going inside so opted for watching the small town sleep and the occasional passers-by.

Sookie was fed up. Just plain fed up. Her car was being the biggest piece of crap she had known. One day it would work, one day it wouldnt. What a great thing too! Seeing as she was always a hub for danger, it always lurked whenever she was around, having a walk was not the best idea. But she knew that Bill would be there if worst came to worst. But what else could she do. She had to get some things from town. So, this night, she was walking. Carless and Bill less, she had just gone to the local Grabbit Kwik for some toiletries. Which, if she had any say, the price was outrageous.
Bon Temps was not a hopping town, but people did tend to be out at night. Especially the vampires. Since the Great Revolution, they always seemed to pop up here and there every now and then. Tonight was no exception. With her bags in hand, she had decided to stop at a little diner for a bite to eat. Merlottes was not your typical dining place, with just drinking foods. So Sookie wanted something else to eat. As she walked up to the diner, she saw a woman sitting at an outdoor table. "Why, hello there! Good evening!" She said in her chipper smiling voice. There was something different about the girl, Sookie noticed. So, she decided to take a listen. And heard nothing. Oh Crap, she thought to herself. Maybe danger was going to follow tonight.

Rose had been resting her feet for a while, not that she really needed to, but she seen the little diner and had decided to watch the world go by. Bon Temps had quite a few diners so it was just luck that she had stopped at this one. Just as she was beginning to relax and enjoy the night she heard footsteps coming towards her. Rose didn't think much of it and didn't deem any human important enough for her to turn around and look. She ws almost lost in thought, if that could be possible. Though after many years of having to keep her condition a secret there was always some part of her alert. A woman's voice, a happy voice, caught her attention as she was addressed.
Rose turned around smiling, "Evening, stopping for a bite to eat?" Rose couldn't help but let her smile stretch a little further at the unintended pun.

The smile she recieved from this girl was a tad bit eire, yet at the same time funny. "A bite to eat?" She said trying to listen to the thoughts, but got nothing but dead air. Vampire. "No, not a bite. Maybe just a whole pie!" She smiled her Sookie smile, trying to kill with kindness which was something her Grams always taught her to do. The pies at this diner were great, since they had on of her grams recepies and Sookie made it a point to always get it when she was around. But why would a vampire be here. There was no True Blood offered. Was she planning her dinner? And it had better not be Sookie! "You having something to eat too?" She knew this was a double ended question and couldnt help but have a bit of fear inside.

"No, I'm not so hungry tonight." Rose knew she shouldn't toy with the humans but sometimes it was too hard not to. Habit had taught her to enjoy her food and as she could no longer enjoy the taste of fresh blood she had lost about the only sense of humour she had. Finding herself at a loss she had sat here and not thought of what would happen should her thirst surface. Sighing she got to her feet.
"In truth? I am thirtsty, I am going to get myself some blood." Rose looked to see if this would get a reaction. "Would you like to join me?"
