Working at Wallace Real Estate was not the place for Shane. Yes, he made some good money which he did nothing but save, but it was too conservative. And conservative was not Shane. Ever since the Vampire Revolution, Shane had a new agenda. He wanted something different from life. After learning that things other than humans existed in this world, he felt it was more important to follow his own dreams rather than that of his fathers. So, he quit the Real Estate business, not without having made good money to live comfortably and not to mention his trust fund. But he was not spoiled and snobby, he bought cheap clothes and always helped those in need. He lived how he wanted.
Now, living as he wanted, he got a job at Vampire's Lair. A 24/7 vampire clothing and items store. It was the coolest place he could have imagined working, other than Fangtasia. There were old ancient items, sexy vampire clothing and always an influx of tourists buying the latest vampire novelities and the creatures of the night seemed to like the store. They were there often. Tonight was his first night shift and he hoped some vampires would make their way to the store.
Shane was organizing the latest vampire funny quotes T shirts under the dark lighting of the store. He liked reading them, laughing occasionally. He was working alone tonight, so maybe some action would take place. There was currently just a group of teenagers looking for something of the leather nature whom he kept an eye on when he heard the 'muahhhaaaaa' sound (instead of a ding dong, it was a vampire in the movies laugh) of someone enter the store.........

Rose had heard about a shop, Vampire's Lair, it was supposed to have anything and everything. Though not interested in the tourist side of shop like these, she was intrigued to see if the place sold anything from civil war England. As always she was hoping that remembrance of her human life would help attach her more to the new world around her. Also a bit of home never done any harm, it would be nicee to see something that she could look at, and maybe show.
It wasn't hard to find Vampire's Lair, though most shops in the mall now opened at night, to accommodate vampires, not all were so openly vampire orientated. Walking through the door she came to a sudden stop as she heard the laughter, sure it was the shops idea of a joke. Very authentic! Wiping the grimace from her face Rose looked around. There seemed to be a group of young humans lingering around the clothing area, maybe future snack. Rose couldn't help this thought as she seen them looking over clothes, they most likely thought were 'cool' or outrageous, she knew some of them just done their best to rebel against their parents. Taking all this in in a second she also noticed the young man looking through the t-shirts look up to her as she entered. Giving him a smile she continued on into the Vampire's Lair.

The sound notified him of a customer and he looked up to see a beautiful pale creature walk into his store. She was vampire and he knew it. She looked like a mainstreamer, so maybe she would go to that section. Or maybe she did not know about the section. Being that he was the only one working tonight and if he got the sales up he would get a bonus, Shane decided to go over to her and welcome her to the store. Afterall, he loved vampires.
Shane walked over to the girl, making sure he had finished folding the shirts. "Good evening. Welcome to Vampire's Lair. Im Shane, your sales clerk and The Lair's expert. Is there anything I can help you with? Looking for something specific?" He asked as she looked her up and down, she had money. All vampires did, so maybe he could get her to purchase alot tonight. The teenagers across the store lowered their voices and were looking at the girl, the vampire. So that was why there were here. Hopefully, they would not cause any trouble.

"Good evening. Welcome to Vampire's Lair. Im Shane, your sales clerk and The Lair's expert. Is there anything I can help you with? Looking for something specific?"
Rose looked at Shane as he approached her, she felt she knew his face from somewhere. Probably a passing stranger. Though I'm surprised I would not have noticed him. As he stopped to introduce himself and to see to her, she could clearly smell a bit of vampire off him. It made her wonder if he was a fangbanger o just friends with one. It seemed to happen a lot these days, Rose hadn't thought it would be possible to care much about a mortal, but Kimberly had taught her differntly. She had only met the girl once, and yet Rose had felt a strange concern for her.
Smiling at Shane she also noticed the young boys had lowered her voice, of course it wasn't hard to spot a vampire in here, considering she was the only one. Extending her fangs ever so slightly, something she enjoyed doing to watch reaction, she spoke to Shane. "I am looking to not only decorate my abode with something from old England. I was also hoping to look around your store, it is rare to see such a collection of all things vampire." Although she glanced around the store quickly, and she had excellent eyesight, she blatantly ignored most of the items in hopes of continuing to talk to the inticing young man. She was happy to spend money tonight. After her long trip she had returned to her hotel room and it had felt empt,y very unlike a home and that had unsettled her, so she was here to help rectify that.
