Kyle almost kicked himself when he saw the effect his question had on henry. It seemed that it was a bit of a sore subject - as it caused Henry to basically shut down and become...sad? The look on Henry's face made Kyle want to take the steps forward and envelop the other man in his arms. But he couldn't do that, right?
Then Kyle's eyes bugged out of his head. Werewolf?! He hadn't been expecting that, but then again, he wasn't a vampire, and he wasn't human. So what was he expecting? He didn't even know himself. "Werewolf!" Kyle repeated, probably too loudly, standing up straigh and pushing himself off the desk and closer to Henry, though not as close as they had been. "Really?! Cool! Is it like it is in the books, can you change into a wolf?!" You could practically see the wagging tail.

Henry was expecting something a bit more... different to his reaction. Sure, Werewolves weren't exactly out in the open yet, but if he had read any books they sound terrifying. But he didn't act scared at all, even though Henry could transform into one this very second and rip his throat out. Not that he would ofcourse. He wasn't like the other wild animals from his pack that attacked people without a care. Well, one time... he was, but he rather not bring that subject up now. He could almost feel the tears welling up when he thought about that night. Shaking his head again, he took in a deep breath to calm himself. He didn't care that Kyle shouted it out a little to loudly, as he thought that everyone else might react the same as Kyle perhaps. "I've only done it a few times or so, back when I was in my pack. It's not a fun experience... It is actually very painful and it's hard to control myself on a full moon. If I do it by will, I can barely manage... sometimes I can't even manage it." he explained sorrowfully, a little creeped out by his excitement for it. Sure, it was cute and all, but it made Henry think Kyle wasn't normal either.

"...Oh. I..well...I'm not actually what I expected. But...painful? It hurt to...transform? Im guessing around the full moon you have to change, but it's painful all the time?" Wow, that sucks. In everything he had read it was kind of liberating to change into the wolf form, it was kind of a relief. Sometimes. But...painful? Kyle's heart went out to henry, who looked crushed. "Hey..." Kyle started, putting a hand on Henry's shoulder, trying to be soothing. "Do you wanna know what I am?" He asked, anything to take that expression off his face.

Henry felt like he might have said a bit to much, about the pain really. It hurt like hell, that's for sure, but he was still new at it and he had been told multiple times that after awhile the pain wouldn't be that bad. You would get used to it they said. But since Henry didn't transform that much into a Werewolf, he could still feel it throughout his whole body when it happened. "Yes. The pain is quite extraordinary. It's hard to bare most of the time... It's so bad...," he slowly trailed off and felt a hand on his shoulder. This brought a small, reassuring smile to his face. He was glad Kyle reacted this way. But what he said next surprised him a little. "What you are? No... You don't have to if you don't want too. I don't want you to feel pressured into telling me just because I told you." he looked back at him slightly, judging his expression.

Kyle shrugged off Henry's last words. He had trusted Kyle enough to, effectively, come out to him, so Kyle will return the favor. Besides, he liked this man - probably a lot more than he should, considering he's a teacher, but then again, the whole student teacher thing could be kind of hot. "Well...I'm human by origin but...I'm a witch" Blunt and to the point. He noticed his hand was still on the werewolf's shoulder, and removed it, with a little reluctance. He wasn't usually like this, but there was just something about Henry that seemed to lure him to the wolf. Animal magnetism?

Henry sighed when Kyle's hand left his shoulder slowly. But that sigh didn't compare to his wide-eyed expression when Kyle told him that he was a witch. What exactly was a witch? He had only heard stories about them, but nothing detailed or of interest. This ran through his head a few times before he decided to ask. He had never known any witches, Kyle was his first one. "What exactly can you do as a witch?," Henry turned to him and leaned against his desk, folding his arms across his chest. "That is, if you don't mind me asking ofcourse..." he added quickly, a small considerate smile crossed his face again, as he mind slowly drifted off the topic of Werewolves and his old life.

"Not at all" Kyle said and leaned back against one of the desks, adopting Henrys pose and folding his own arms across his chest. "Well...It's kind of hard to explain exactly, but...basically I can use the magicks." He shrugged. It was hard to explain what being a witch entailed, what all he could do. "It's hard to explain exactly, but if you wanna ask more specific questions I'll happily answer them" He was happy that Henry seemed to be less upset than he was before. Probably because his mind was off his werewolf nature[/color]

Henry smiled slightly when Kyle answered his question, although it wasn't much of an answer. He was glad when Kyle opened up to him like he did, but it was a little awkward since he had never talked about it before. He wasn't sure if he wanted to keep asking questions, so he came up with an excuse to get off the subject. Standing up from his desk, he walked around it and continued opening the boxes. "Maybe some other time... I have to unpack more." it was a sorry excuse since it was a little while until school started anyway, but he wanted to get his mind off of the supernatural for now. He started pulling more things out of the box like notebooks, binders, etc. etc. while waiting for Kyle to say something else. He didn't really want the younger man to leave yet, but he didn't want to keep talking about the last few subjects they were on.

"Oh, okay." Kyle said, sounding like a complete ditz. He looked over towards the door, and the file with his results in it, and then back towards Henry. He actually didn't want to go. Henry was one of the few 'supernaturals' that Kyle has ever met, but apart from that he just liked being near the man. He was fun company to have around, even though he's only known him for like five minutes. Plus he's something very good to look at. "Ahm...Do you want me to go then? Or..."

Henry was glad that Kyle was willing to give up on the subject as he continued unpacking. He was almost done just about when he got to the last box and Kyle spoke up. The thought of Kyle leaving right now was an unhappy one, but it was getting a little late. Henry looked up at the clock, and sighed. "No, you don't have to if you don't want to. I'm just gonna be packing some things up and situating the room around, which might bore you." he said and threw another box into the corner of boxes. He had one more left and it was filled with his clothes, since he had nowhere to stay he planned on sleeping here in his room. He didn't unpack the clothes though, instead he just lifted the box and placed it on the counter next to the computer. "So... Where do you live?" he accidentally blurted out. That was something he had never asked anybody, and knew it was usually private. "Uh, I shouldn't have asked that." he mumbled apologetically.

Kyle just shrugged and sat on the desk that he had ben leaning against seconds before. If Henry didn't want him gone then he was happy to stay. Besides, his curious - nosey - nature was having a good time watching the hot teacher unpack, noseying at what was in the boxes that he wasn't unpacking, yet. He was caught off guard with the question about his living arrangements. "Oh it's fine" Well, technically it's probably not fine, but Kyle didn't care. "I live in town with my grandmother. Ahm...can I ask where you live?" He asked, slowly, as he stood and approached the desk, specifically the box full of clothing. Surely he wasn't going to sleep here?

Henry went over to the desk and started rearranging them so they were in a more orderly fashion and in neater aisles. Once he was done with that, he grabbed a trash-can by the door and started to scrape the gum off from the undersides of the desk with a disgusting look on his face. Kyle had answered his question saying that he was living with his grandmother currently in the center of town, which was kind of nice actually. He didn't know what his grandparents were like, nor did he ever meet them as a child. They had died before he was born. But Kyle then asked him something that took him off guard, and he frowned slightly when the question was over with. It was kind of embarrassing, really embarrassing actually. He lived here, in his own classroom. But it was only a temporary thing until he could get the money for an apartment. "Well, for now I'm living in here. I've almost got enough money raised for an apartment though." he shrugged slightly and continued scraping.

Just as he thought, though he didn't want to be right. He could easily tell that Henry was embarassed by this fact, but Kyle didn't care. He wasn't the judgemental type, he was more the sympathetic, empathic type. "Hey, let me help. I'll do that and you can...well...do something else that needs done" He smiled, wanting to help him in anyway he can. Afterall, that task looked quite gross and uncomfortable. Kyle could do it a bit easier - magick. "And why don't you, I don't know, negociate something with the landlord or something? Maybe you could work out a deal?" He didn't want the man sleeping in his own classroom, but would it make Henry feel worse if he kept on the subject?

Henry continued to scrape the gum of the underside while Kyle offered his help too Henry. Looking up at him from across the room, it wasn't hard to imagine what Kyle could do. He was a witch, so he might be able to make the gum magically disappear or something. He wasn't quite sure, but he was a little curious as to what Kyle would do so he stood up on his feet and put the garbage can by the door again. "Alright, your not gonna destroy the desks or anything are you?" he raised an eyebrow with a laugh. When it came to the subject of his home, he frowned again. "I've already tried actually. He's pretty uptight about it. It's not a problem though. In a few more weeks or so I'll be fine, and I plan on going out tonight anyway to see the town, since I've only been here a few days." he added quickly, making it seem all better now. Like a night on the town, or something.

"That's good" Kyle said, hoping off the desk. "You should visit Merlotte's. It seems to be an unofficial meeting place for every supernatural in town" He laughed. "Every vampire that comes to town always seems to go there. Though I'm not sure about werewolves or...whatever else is out there. And the barmaid a telepath too" He said, blunt and straight to the point. Might as well give the poor man a head up of the town. Maybe even..."If you want...I could show you around town" He offered, not sure if it was a smart move or not. He was only a little older than him, but he was still his teacher. Kyle liked the guy and everything, well, really liked him, but would him being his teacher make it weird?
That having been said, Kyle went over to the first desk, crouching down so he can look under it. Yeah, there was gum globs over the underside of the desk. He took a breath and closed his eyes, reaching out with his mind and finding the gum globs. Once that was accomplished he gave them a little 'flick' with his mind and they all detached themselved from the desk and fell to the floor. Not a very obvious display, but it was quicker and easier than scraping.
