Henry listened to Kyle intently as he described Merlotte's. He had only been here a short time, but the time he had been here he had heard about Merlotte's a lot. Some of the teachers spoke to each other about going there, and he already knew that it was a bar and grill. Other than that though, he didn't know anything about it. Luckily he gave Henry the head's up about the telepath barmaid, so he would try to keep his thoughts civilized and comforting as always. Then Kyle had offered to show him around town, and Henry thought about taking him up on that offer. He thought about it for a moment and decided to plan a "date" of sorts. "I'll be glad to meet you at Merlotte's later tonight if you want. I'll be going there after this anyway. If your not busy, maybe we could have a few beers?," he raised an eyebrow and walked over to the desks to pick up the gum that had suddenly dropped off. "Thanks a lot." he laughed and smiled kindly, showing his appreciation.

Kyle stodd back up, momentarily forgetting about the chewing gum that was lying on the floor. "Yeah, sure. That'd be great! Ahm, when do you want me?" Yes, that does sound like a double éntendre, and yes, Kyle did mean it. It was just a casual invite to a bar/grill, right? But thinking back on their earlier...whatever that was Kyle wasn't so sure it was totally, one hundred percent innocent. But who wants innocent.
He leaned against the desk that was now chewing gum free as Henry came closer to him...and started picking up said gum. s*it! Kyle crouched back down beside the teacher man and assisted in scooping up the hard globs. Gross. "Don't mention it. Though I can do a lot more than that"

Henry was smiling as Kyle seemed exasperated to hear that he was basically asking him out on a date to Merlotte's Bar and Grill. He was quite excited himself, even if it wasn't suppose to be anything special. They were going as friends, and nothing more. But Henry kept getting the urge to make it mean more. Shrugging it off, he and Kyle spent the rest of the time picking up the gum and throwing it away. It was kind of nasty, but Kyle was helping so that was nice. "Uh...," he wasn't exactly sure when he wanted Kyle. For one, this would have been his first gathering, and he didn't know when the bar opened. Two, was he allowed to drink? He supposed he should just spit out a random time and see what he thought. "How about nine o'clock?," he frowned slightly, and kept his eyes on the ground. He had also made a comment on his other abilities, which made Henry smirk again for a little bit. "I wonder what else he can do..." he thought to himself as they finished up and each left.
