Sitting at the Bar

[Shane Wallace]

Shane was dressed in his Pharoh costume, feeling a little exposed. He was not akin to walking around with his shirt off. Also, the whole no shirt, no shoes, no service rule was not in play because he was going to get serviced and he had on no shirt. The main reason he chose the costume was for his date, Anouk. He knew he looked good, all the time at the gym was sure paying off tonight. He was ready to impress. Never having been at Merlotte's, seeing all the people in their costumes was amazing and funny. Mostly everyone looked darn good and he liked that.

After making his was on the red carpet entrance, Shane looked for Anouk, they got here at different times but he knew she was there. Her costume looked amazing, she looked amazing. Shane took a seat at the bar and looked for the bartender. Instead of waiting, wanting to be gentlemanly, he yelled out his order. "A bottle of True Blood, O negative and a Jack Daniels on the rocks please!" Shane was ready to get the party started, to dance alittle with his beautiful dead date and meet some new people in this small yet lively town.

She had braided her hair and Rylan had given her 'h**ker' make up and lips so she could really knock Jason's socks off. As she walked away from Rylan after declining a drink, Delaney was just wanting to take in the surroundings. She had never had a real Halloween party with her friends or people she didn't know in the pack. Everyone was so beautiful and different. There were so many smells coming at her it was hard to tell what was what.

Delaney saw Pam and Eric, a few vampire's she didn't know, Sam and his lady friend just walked into an office. She rolled her eyes. Had they ever considered coming up for air? Hello, this was a party! She giggled slightly as she remembered seeing Jason tonight. He had looked so cute and for a split second she had considered tossing the keys to her sister and letting her go with out them. Delaney blushed at the thought. Maybe she should get a drink after all. As she approached she noticed a pharaoh sitting by his lonesome. Could it be? "Shane, is that you? Oh wow, you look amazing! How have you been? You here for some one in particular?"
