Cora stepped out of her car calmly; she didn’t feel nervous even though she knew she ought to be. She wanted to check out this area and the best way to do that and stay on good terms with the vampires here was to go by the book and that was to check in with the sheriff. The reason she wasn’t anxious was not because she was overconfident, though confidence was part of it, it was because she had gone through enough frustration lately and had decided that tonight she was just going to let whatever was going to happen, happen.
From what she had seen of the area, which was not much so far only having spent one day in the local hotel, was that this bar was a unique oddity all itself. But from driving up she had seen that Louisiana was what it was, very southern, but here this club was different, dark and gothic. Cora was dressed to match neither of these. She was a in a charcoal grey suit jacket with a matching skirt along with dark hose and black heels. As if her perfect legs actually needed hose, but it was more formal which was just her style. She wore no jewelry at the moment but her fairly long fingernails were perfectly French manicured. Her dark brown hair was clipped up like it almost always was.
She strode across the parking lot and finally made it to the entrance. Her calm confidence wavered a moment when she saw who was greeting at the door. She was a beautiful blonde vampire more confident than even herself. She was wearing a rather gothic dress but Cora could tell it didn’t seem like her character. It was her beauty and confidence that took Cora’s breath away and she froze for a second. Only a second however, then she blinked and regained her composure to make the necessary formalities.
“Hello, I’m Cora Conrad and I came from Florida. I would very much like to meet your sheriff to request permission to stay in this area. It is Eric Northman I believe, is he available. “
Her voice was calm and direct, neither demeaning or overexctied. She gave a cordial smile, showing her fangs as was expected.
(OOC: ta da! My first rp post. Take it whichever direction you want Pam or Eric and once the greetings are finished anyone can approach Cora but it wont be guaranteed to be a friendly interaction )
