As her car rolled along she watched as her headlights bounce when her tires hit a pothole. The more she cruised around the town the more she was perplexed by the amount of vampires in the area, it seemed ordinary enough. It was the middle of the night so houses and stores were dark and no one was out. Then as she got into a residential area the houses got larger and with more land and trees in between. So this was the upper class, and as she rolled down her window the faint scent of vampire met her nostrils and she smiled to herself. But she quickly rolled up her windows because the harsh wind was messing up her hair. She was going far faster than the legal speed, as was the tendency of vampires. She passed another house but soon there was nothing but woods on either side.

Belle was dancing down a random street in Shreveport. She didn't understand why she was doing this but she wanted to meet someone. And what better way then to dance around like a maniac. She was wearing a sequined dress she bought from Pam. Belle had begun to dance through the street like a major maniac. She was singing an old song, the one Anna used to sing to her. It made her cry but she kept on dancing and singing. But she had shut her eyes and now was dancing through the street, eyes closed and face towards the sky.

The vertical trunks of the trees swished by much faster than they should have. Cora was impressed with this much land between the houses that meant the residents had enough money to afford the land around. They must have been rich.
As she watched the forest swirl by her car she unfortunately didn't see the woman swaying around in the street until she was too close for comfort.
"Sh**!"
She concluded in a split second not to hit her. Another vampire might not have cared but since she was trying to make this area her home she preferred not to have such a gruesome murder tacked on to her right off the bat. Perhaps at this moment it was not so good to have vampire reflexes. She shoved the break down all the way in one quick movement and the tires squealed harshly in protest. Then she wrenched the steering wheel to the right and since her breaks were already applied the car all too willing obliged.
Her car veered off the road and that was when the front hit the first tree. The back end still slid down the sloped ground and the right side of the car was caught by another trunk. The impacts jostled Cora around and the second hit made her head smack into her side window, the glass cracked but did not completely fall out. Next time she would surely be wearing a seatbelt, vampire or not.
For a moment after the booms of the crash dissipated there was silence. Cora looked around, her engine had cut off and her headlights were out but she could still see fine being a vampire.
"God d**** it!" She pounded a fist on the steering wheel. Her car, her precious mode of transportation, was now smashed up. She wondered for a moment if the murder charge would have been worth it.
She decided she needed to get out, and in a hurry. She wrenched open her door but she pushed to hard. There was a quick sound of metal ripping her door fell straight off it's hinges and clattered to the ground. when it teetered around the glass finally shattered and littered the ground.
She growled in frustration, her fists balled up but she took a breath exhaled and calmed down. She let her hands relax and instead brought one up to her head. She felt her left temple and sure enough there was blood. It had stopped bleeding by now but the blood was still there.
She put her fingers in her mouth and licked off the blood, no harm done really. Then she pulled out her cell phone. She searched for a nearby mechanic using the Internet, thank goodness for blackberries and 3G coverage. When it started ringing she put it to her ear.
"Yes, I need to get my car towed out of here. I just ran off the road out here on Acadia Parish road and it hit several trees. I'm not sure if the car is visible from the road but just look for the woman standing with blood coming out of her her head-Hey calm down, it was a joke. I'm fine, I don't need an ambulance, I'm a vampire." There was silence on the other end when she mentioned what she was. "Hello? Are you gonna send a truck or what? If you don't get me out of here before sunrise then you'll really have something to worry about, I'll make sure of it."
That seemed to get him moving. He promised a tow guy would be there in about fifteen or twenty minutes. Cora clicked her phone shut. She wandered back to her car and sat on the edge of the driver seat, which was much easier to do now that there wasn't a door. She leaned her elbow onto her knee and propped her forehead onto her hand, she decided to meditate in her misery while she waited.

Belle's face went blank when she heard a crash. She could tell it was all her fault and she was hoping it was only a Supe. Human's would die, but Supes would live. Shifter or Vamp.
She opened her eyes and turned towards the noise there was a vampire on the side of the road. She was standing near a car with no door. She giggled and began to walk towards the woman.
"Um..mam..I am sorry." She was completely sorry for ruining a car. She sat criss cross apple sauce on the road in front of the woman. "I am so so sorry. I am Belle. I thought no one came down here usually." She lived on a street like this with Jessica. And no one came down that street.

Cora looked up, she didn't smile but she didn't attack the other woman either so it was a good start. She could smell her now and she could tell she was a vampire.
"I'm so glad to see you are unscathed." The sarcasm in her voice was razor sharp.
Then after a moment of silence she sighed, a very human thing to do but when you live among humans you learn to act like them...only in some ways. "I'm Cora." She volunteered. "Do you live around here? Is running around in this street a thing you do often?" She had a bitterness in her voice, but perhaps it was a bit justified considering her car was just wrecked. She wondered idly if she had totaled her car, that would be awful.

Belle's smile faded and she looked at this woman, "I said I was sorry. I didn't know anyone came here." She let her anger seep into her words. But pulled back when she noticed what she was beginning to do.
"Cora, I am sorry your car is crashed, I'll help pay for a new one or repairs." No matter how mad Belle got she couldn't help but be polite and nice.
"I live in Bon Temps, but I wanted to meet someone new so I came to a new place," she admitted wryly. "And actually kind of. The moon just struck some cord and I couldn't help it." She sighed looking down. "I really am sorry about your car. Really. I thought since it was a parish noone would be here. I leave on the parrish in Bon temps and hardly anyone is ever there."

Cora nodded. She wasn't going to say 'it's okay' because that was silly. But she did forgive the vampire she seemed decent enough if not a little spontaneous. She seemed an odd personality for a vampire and she wondered what her maker had been like.
"Oh you paying will not be necesary." She said this politely but firmly, every fiber of her pride went against it. "I recently got a job working for a vampire named Pam so I can pay for the repairs eventually."

Belle looked up mystified, no one ever denied her, she meant never. Not her parents, her sisters or anyone else. "Um...I still would like to pay," she said, proving her point of view. "I caused it I should be able to pay for the damages."
Belle sighed looking at the stars, she felt horrible at how different her life turned out to be. She hated her sister for what she became.

Cora smirked at her mystified expression, this was interesting. this reaction indicated 'spoiled' but that wasn't a usual situation for vampires so she wasn't sure if that was the case.
But she dipped her head acknowledging consent, she decided not to argue at the moment, perhaps she could battle that another time.
She got up from sitting and stood, in her usual position with her arms crossed over her chest. She tilted her head and watched curiously as the vampire stared at the sky.
"You're from Bon Temps you said, right? That's the town over I believe. What's it like there? Is it worth going to?"
She was surprised to find herself making polite conversation, she wasn't usually this...well polite. Maybe it was because she had nothing better to do and the tow truck was taking too d**** long.

Watching from afar had it's querks. Sekhmet had been strolling along in the woods when she smelled another vampire, a much younger vampire, but then again, few vampires in the state of Lousianna were older than her, so it was quite normal for her to smell a young one. Still, distant sounds of a car crash had caught her attention and she looked up to see what had caused all of the commotion. After being a vampire for such a long time, she had not fully comprehended just how far away she could hear.
Even though the car crash had occured quite a few yards from her, she reached the scene in milliseconds and observed the after effects from the darkness of the trees. The one called Belle, she recongized. The two had never really had a formal acquantaince but Sekhmet knew exactly who she was. Observing from the darkness, Sue just sat and waited. Perhaps the two would not recognize she was there, after all, it had taken quite a while for Sekhmet to register just who was around at exactly what distance and exactly what species they were.
At least there were no shifters around, Sue dispised the shifters, always too self-confident in their powers, it grew rather tiresome. "Pardon our young vampire, Belle, m'dear, she has a tendency to act with her body rather than her instinct." It was not fully meant to be an insult, although Sue had long since forgotten the differenciation between the two. "I heard that your name is Cora. I am Sekhmet. Though, I live in Shreveport, unlike our dearest, young Belle." Of couse, Belle was not the youngest, which would go to Jessica Hamby at the moment, she was still rather young in Sekhmet's book.
"Tell me, are you from these parts, or were you just passing through?" Since Sekhmet was not the sheriff of Area 5, even if she was the sheriff of another territory, she was unfamiliar with the procedures that Eric Northman had set forth and she was not aware of every vampire in the area. Perhaps Cora had already informed Eric, perhaps she had not, it was not up for Sekhmet to decide. All Sue knew was that she needed more to live in her nest, perferably a female who could tolerate her dearest Jack.

(ooc: If I am violating the posting order just pm me and I'll delete it but this seems logical to me)
Cora's head snapped sideways more quickly than would have been humanly possible to look at the vampire that she had not noticed before. Simply Beautiful was her first impression of her then it took a half a second for her to realize she was an ancient. Power seemed to radiate off of her and Cora was impressed immediately, which is not easily done. Quickly her hand went up to her head self consciously to the dried blood on her temple where she had not cared before. Sekhmet, what a lovely and old name, it sounded Egyptian to her but she wasn't sure.
"Well no I'm not just passing through. I hope to make this area my home if I come to like it here. I recently got a job working for the vampire Pam at her store."
Normally she might have not been so forthcoming but this vampire's superiority demanded the utmost respect and Cora was not about to defy that. Perhaps if she got to know her better she would be more relaxed next time.

Belle looked at the stars and the moon,"well for a human or a very human vampire Bon Temps is very fun." She looked back down and she knew she was ready to defend the town she's grown to love.
Belle heard footsteps and noticed the vampire who came down her road once. "Hello Sue," she smiled through the pain of her comment. She hated when people were mean. "I think I will leave the two of you. I most get home." And at that note she dispeared into the night.

Though Sekhmet did not mean to scare Belle away, in fact, she adored the younger vampires, they kept her fresh and in tune with the times. Still, she did not raise any objection for Belle to leave, if she had matters to attend to, then she should do so. Turning back to Cora, she simply nodded, listening to everything she said. It was so nice to get another vampire in the area, and this one clearly knew her place in the vampire hierarchy, something Sue absolutely adored. Curiousity had gotten the better of her, and Sekhmet was such a sucker for the respectful ones, although her oldest creation, Ahmose, was one hell of an exception.
"If you plan on staying here, then I wish you the best of luck. However, if you wish to stay in Shreveport, which is not far from here, then I do have a nest, it's rather big and currently only myself and Jack, one of my creations, that live in it. I'm sure just by these few words we have shared that Jack would not mind your company, if you wish to explore this invitation further." Honestly, the house was rather big and Sekhmet hated an empty house, especially one that made such echoes down the hall when she walked in her heels.
There would not be a problem with her boys since Ahmose had left and the two had already fought out their differences, or so she hoped, there was no way to tell for sure. It would be cozy for Cora and plus, with someone new around, she could do some more work on a new room for her, she adored bedroom themes, although her house was pretty much the pure essence of Egypt.

Cora blinked, could this really be happening to her? She couldn't have hoped for better circumstances than she had just stumbled into. For a moment she forgot that her car was wrecked.
"Yes I would love to take you up on this invitation. How generous of you to offer." She got a sudden urge to bow but quickly reconsidered, that would be way too corny.
She attempted to wipe the blood from her head. She thought she had succeeded mostly but she would never know without a mirror. She casually strode back over to her car and poked her head in to look for something to wipe her hand with.
"D*** it." She muttered, there was nothing in sight, but it made sense, how often would a vampire need a napkin or a tissue, virtually never.
She just balled her hand into a fist and left it at her side, she'd have to wash it off later. She walked over to stand near Sekhmet again. "So if you dont mind me asking, what made you ask a vampire you've never met before to come join your nest?" She hoped she had succeeded in making her tone neutral, she didn't want to offend this ancient she was just curious.
