She said yes! Jack didn't know whether to be shocked or not, after all he was only asking for her friendship, nothing more, but still it had been so long since he had spoken in such a way to a human without using his vampire powers to force them into making a decision. It felt good to know that his natural charm could still get results. He smiled at the thought, happy that someone wanted to continue speaking with him, based on his personality and not because he was a vampire. It did grow tiresome when some fang banger discovered who he was and how old he was. All they wanted was attention and Jack really despised the idea.
"Nine fifteen is perfect. I look forward to it." He replied and glanced at the house as the dog's barking attracted his attention.
Ivory went across to greet the mutt but Jack stood still. Dogs seemed to have some sixth sense about vampires and Jack did not wish to set him off any further. "Kane?" He repeated. "Nice to meet you Kane." He said in a some what mocking tone, acting as if the dog were a child.
The vampire glanced at his watch and nodded to himself. It was getting late, he would have to get back to his coffin soon. "I have to be going Ivory." He started. "I shall see you tomorrow, take care." He said as he began to walk down the street back to his hotel room.
(I shall make a thread in Merlotte's)
