An idea(involving spells and possible plotline)

So, I've been thinking, trying to come up with possible plotlines for Kate that would get her more involved, and got an idea...Now, she's a level 1 witch and her abilities mostly involve "creating a better way to live and increasing inner peace" but that's not very specific and I was wondering whether those abilities 1) extended to other people as well, and 2)she would be able to cast them on, say, a room. The reason why I'm asking is that she could, for example, put such a spell on a bar or club, to influence people's desire to stay longer, buy more etc. It would basically be a very subtle thing, mostly affecting humans without them even realizing, and it would make them feel particularly predisposed to patronize the establishment. You know, create a subtle, overall "wow, this place is great" feeling. Supes and other witches would most likely go unaffected.
