Somehow, the Compton Residence was out of Tru Blood and evidently needed more. Bill was over at Sookie's and the two would be very occupied tonight, so that left Jessica to go and purchase more blood. After the couple left, Jessica stepped into the shower in Bill's home and began to rinse herself. A good 20 minutes later, she had a towel wrapped around her body and she walked into the clothes room, where Bill and Jessica both had closets filled with their clothes.
Opening her closet, Jessica pulled out undergarments and then tried to find something to wear over. She dropped the towel to the floor and quickly covered herself with her first selection. Running her hand over cluttered garment, Jess finally pulled out a layered plaid red skirt and a ruffled black tanktop. Pulling on her second selections, Jessica picked up the towel, threw it on the bed and walked out. She then pulled on black flats and grabbed her Blackberry, no doubt a sign she would contact Hoyt.
Grabbing the car keys off the hook in the Foyer, Jessica opened the door, stepped out and closed it. She unlocked Bill's car as she approached it, went around, opened the door of the driver's side and climbed in. Turning the key in the ignition, Jessica closed the door shut and was off to the Grabbit Kwik. Within a good 30 minutes, she was pulling into the gas station parking lot. She turned off the car, stepped out of it and shut the door.
The bell above the door rang as Jessica entered the mart. She looked up at it, smirked and continued on the way in. The man behind the counter, a tan dark haired local, smiled politely at her as she walked in. Jessica returned the smile, twirled the keys in her hand and headed for the Tru Blood section of the mart. She saw about 20 different types of blood and began to search for B positive, the kind she preferred and O positive, the kind Bill preferred, while putting her Blackberry in her pocket.

Kyle always found it funny that the True BLoods sat right next to the two litre sized bottes of coke, fanta, sprite etc. Not that he didn't think it was a good idea, group all the drinks together, just that it would offend those biggots that still didn't like vamps. Kyle would never drink blood from a living person, but True Blood had always allured him. A part of him was curious as to how it would taste, probaby like blood, but still...
He walked to the drinks isle, basket in hand. So far he had just grabbed a pack of sausages, some bacon, potato bread, that sort of stuff. Tomorrows breakfast. So now he was heading to get a sweet fizzy drink for guzzle down on. He looked up, naturally, as he headed down the isle towards the drinks section, and notices the vampire girl that was with vampire Bill the other night at Merlotte's. Hmm, should he say hi...?

Pulling out a pack of 'O positive' Tru Blood, Jessica did not notice the guy next to her. She was a bit preoccupied with finding her own blood, but she would have probably noticed him by now under normal circumstances. She then saw 'B negative and knew, well guessed and/or hoped, 'B positive' was somewhere close by. Sure enough, she found it and when she opened the door, she pulled it to out just as easily as she had done the O positive. She felt the door close behind her when she turned around and saw a guy in the drinks aisle as well. Jessica automatically recognized him from Merlotte's when she had gone with Bill to watch over Sookie, but she remembered they had hardly interacted, well she and the guy at least. She noticed he was looking at her then, so in order to be polite, she gave a nice, also polite, smile.

Someone's thirsty... Kyle commented silently as he saw how much true blood the red headed vampress was getting. But, he supposed that different types would have different flavours, like...diet coke and regular coke....Okay, bad analogy, but it gets the point across.
He diverted his eyes to the shelf of human drinks and quickly grabbed a large bottle of sprite, his favourite, and chucked it into the basket, moving the soft foods around so the bottle didn't squash them. That being done he looked back up at the vampire, and not two seconds later she looked back, seeing him see her. Thankfully she gave him a wave or it would have been quite uncomfortable. He smiled and gave her a wave back, unsure if he should go over and talk to her or not. She was, basically, a stranger. But she was one of the few people in town that seemed to be close to his age....

Knowing he was hesitant to talk to her, Jessica made the first move. She had watched her best friend Laurie, her friend who had gotten pregnant before she had her first kiss, talk to a guy in their Confirmation class once. They hardly knew each other but Laurie pulled it off quite well. Trying to remember what it was she said, Jessica approached the guy. "Hello," she said, still smiling. "again. " To her dismay, Jessica giggled, not seductively but insecurely. She wondered if the guy remembered her, if he had even seen her while they both were at Merlotte's one night.

Oh, she was coming to him. Okay, well that solved the 'what to do next question' He was a little thankful that she giggled, showing that she was feeling confident either. Her giggle made her seem strangley human. He still wasn't sure if she was vampire or human. She could be out getting nourishment for vampire Bill, but there was a good bit of True Blood in her hands. Enough for two maybe?
"Hi. No Vampire Bill tonight?" He asked stupidly, trying to start a conversation somehow. Right now the only thing he knew about her was that she knew Bill so that's were he started.

She shook her head. "Nope, just me." She began to clarify, "He is...well, he is busy." She giggled again and held up the two packs of Tru Blood. "So, that leaves me to do the shopping." She looked down at the food he had in his basket, human food. If she had been human, she would have dived for the potato bread. But being Vampire, she evidently did not. "I guess that's what brings you here to the Grabbit Kwik, isn't that such a weird name? Grabbit Kwik." Jessica, motioning to the food that was in his shopping basket.

Kyle gave Jessica a wry grin, "Can I ask what 'busy' means, or is it vampire business? Or is it more of 'you don't wanna know?" He asked, a bit serious but a bit humorous too. If he was out...well, killing or whatever he does that wasn't Kyles problem. Not that he thought Bill killed like that, he was actually on the wagon. 'Mainstreaming'.
He nodded with Jessica's assessment of the shop, agreeing with the girl/vampire. He still wasn't sure. "Can I ask - Im not sure if you are human or vampire. You hang out with Bill and you're getting True Blood, but I'm still not positive which you are." He hoped that didn't sound offensive, but Kyle's the type of guy to get straight to the point.

"It is definitely a 'you don't wanna know' thing, even he wouldn't give me the full details." Jessica laughed. "I am Vampire," she said then, quite darkly. "I hang out with Bill because well, I have no choice. Let's put it that way." Jessica knew better then to spill the whole story about how she was made, especially to someone she'd only been talking to for 10, 20 minutes?

Kyle nodded, getting the message to not ask about what vampire Bill was up to. Secret vampire stuff. He shifted his weight to put most of is one one foot as he finally got the answer to whether or not she Jessica was a vampire or not. Though he was confused about the last bit. I have no choice? What do you mean you have no choice?" He asked, before his mind could even register that it might be a bit inappropriate or invasive. Kyle's the type of guy that usually speaks his mind.

"It, uh, wasn't my decision? It's really hard to explain and quite complicated at that." She said simply, the Tru Bloods beginning to feel heavier and heavier. She looked around noticed the clerk guy staring at her and she smiled innocently, he smiled back suspiciously. Turning back to whom she was talking to, she asked, "Well what are you, if you don't mind my asking?"

Kyle kind of got the hint and dropped the subject. It seemed to be a little too close to home. His own basket, which held mainly the big bottle of sprite, was starting to feel a little heavy too, so he mentally shrugged and set it on the floor beside him, rolling his shoulder to release the mild strain it. Her question kind of surprised him, but then again, she could probably smell his...differences on him or something. "Ah, well....I'm a witch" He said, holding his head high. He was a witch, deal with it.

Jessica put her bottles of blood down on the floor as well, one on either side of her feet. Being Vampire, she probably wasn't supposed to be bothered by their weight, but who gives? Her eyebrows rose in both surprise and fascination when he admitted what he was. "A witch? Really? That's so cool!" She said in-you guessed it-fascination. Weren't witches supposed to be girls though and wizards would be guys? Oh, whatever, anything can happen in Bon Temps.

Kyle smiled widely at Jessica's enthusastic response. Come to think of it, she was the first person he has came out to, as a witch. Wow. It was so simple, way easier than when he came out the first time. Maybe it was because she was already familiar with the darker world of reality that she was so easily accepting of a real witch, not just a wiccan. A witch with real magicks. "Glad you think so" He laughed, not knowing exactly what else to say.

She smiled and laughed with him. The conversation was growing awkward, she could sense it. One ain't need to be Vampire to sense that. Glancing at the clock on the wall, Jessica realized it was about 1:30 am. Just as she was about ask another question, the clerk came over. "We are now closing, have you found everything you needed?" He asked, glancing at the difference between nutrition both beings in front of him had. Normal, human food and blood, not exactly what you see close-by everyday. Jessica nodded, "I have." She said then looked over at the guy, who's name she had yet to found out, motioning for him to answer the clerk's question.
